The best restaurants in Blaydon Gateshead North East

Needed a pick me up so pulled into Costas and ordered a Gingerbread cream latte. Both members of staff were excellent, reminding me of the app to use. Coffee was lovely

They take way to long to get the food

My order hasn’t arrived at my address I’m fuming

Stood at kitchen doorway and welcomed customer with ‘what you after?’ I ignored this and politely said an all day breakfast please. Lady said we have a problem in the kitchen and drinks only. Service was terrible and she obviously couldn’t be bothered to make it at 2pm or she wouldn’t have asked what I wanted at first. In summary a bit of a dog of a place with rude service. You might as well walk the few hundred yards along to Morrison’s cafe instead.

Again ordered after complaint and the manager was clueless. Took my order and couldn't even get my order right over the phone this place is a joke and manager was argumentative when I rang to raise the issue. 3 weeks in a row wrong toppings. Avoid at all cost as they are a laughing stock of franchise

I don’t understand how a cafe can serve in such dirty conditions. Cutlery and crockery with stains and remnants of food. Had to ask 3x for cup to be changed. On 3rd time the lady used a cloth that she was cleaning surfaces with to clean the dirty cup. No apologies or help from staff, just blank looks. Serious improvements are needed to make the place more hygienic. Customer service could use an improvement too.
