McDonald's in Gateshead

No direction from staff, might as well have grunted like pigs. "Food, pay, uh"

It’s not hard to put a burger the main part of my meal into a just eat order. Nothing worse than just chips and waiting for refund from just eat

Negative reviews say it all incompetent management that don't want to hear about it. Poor staff and shocking customer service. It isn't hard to put the right food in the bag ffs I've done it!

I placed an order at around 8:20PM which included: 1 Oreo McFlurry 1 Large Coke 1 Large Biscoff Frappe Despite there being no rush at the time, I waited for about 20 minutes. I approached the counter to ask about my order, and I was told it would be brought to my table. However, it never arrived. When I asked again, the staff told me I hadn’t received it yet and handed it to me at that point. Unfortunately, the service felt unprofessional and not up to the standard I usually expect from McDonald’s blaydon store

Beautiful service from this lovely fella kinda did a bit of fun with is tho but on the other hand hands down

Had to be the worst McDonald's I've been to in the world. Constantly getting orders wrong. The majority of the staff are unhelpful and rude. The food generally isn't hot or particularly freshly cooked. The burgers are dry, the fries are limp and soggy. On my most recent visit I had to make 2 payments at the drive thru as the cashier charged me for the wrong order.

I visted mcdonalds blaydon at lunch time yesterday at 12.25pm (mz4w 4dzz pynl). I bought 2 x double cheeseburgers and 2 x large fries. Fries cold and rubbery and cheeseburgers looked ok but cold. We attempted to eat five mins after purchase but both meals straight in bin. I paid ££9.36 for two meals.

It's Gregg's, so very popular for breakfast sandwiches, buns, cold drinks and some hot foods. There are a limited amount of healthy items available. To be honest it gives a lot of people breakfast of a coffee and sandwich for less than £3, so great value although the baguette is far better bread than the cheap sandwich, doughy bun. The small sausages aren't the best in my opinion but the bacon is usually not too fatty. The coffee is great and not bitter. They also have decaf. At tea time the stock is often very limited when I have visited, although this branch is open till 8 pm and for deliveries. The staff are hard working and friendly. There are several internal tables that are ridiculously small and grandfather chairs that are ridiculously big. There are also wooden benches and tables outside. The tables should have been made of an easy clean material and definitely need cleaning daily.

I live in bristol but staying in Newcastle for the week I called in on my own I use a crutch, the staff offered to carry my food over and took it to the bin once I was finished definitely not the service I would get back home so thankyou

Foods ok as Mcdonalds go. If you're in a hurry avoid the drive through, you'll be there all night..

This is genuinely the worst McDonald’s in the universe. They never ever get orders correct and the quality of the food is so far below that of other McDonald’s. Shambolic

Considerably better than other McDonald's in the area, immaculately clean, and, Ken is an absolute legend. What a difference a polite hello and goodbye etc makes. The bloke is a superstar

I have just been to order a plain burger happy meal and extra bag of chips . The meal was for my autistic grandson . Explained when ordered plain when opened had cheese in he had a melt down . This us not acceptable

Blaydon store was freezing so food went cold at least the shake didnt melt.

Absolutely appalling once again! Customer service? What customer service! Items missing but not their problem. Nothing they can do. I was under the illusion the food was what they did. Contact uber who delivers for the Mc app to discuss your missing food. Unable to get in any kind of touch with them. Absolute joke!

I'd be keen to know what brand of catapult they use to put the burgers together, it would be handy to keep the cats out the garden

I honestly don’t understand how this is still open. Staff don’t seem to have an idea what is going on and inside the counters are covered in delivery orders that sit there for at least 20 minutes. Orders are often slow and yet still cold. I’ve had a few times when the drive through can’t seem to find the order code from the app either yet inside can. Staff need better training, management need to sort out the shambles of organisation. This has been numerous visits and everyone I give the benefit of the doubt. I won’t be returning

I ordered food through just eat and again they got the order wrong . I rang Blaydon macdonalds but no one answered . Just eat haven't refunded my last complaint yet so I have no doubt this is the last I will hear from them . Macdonalds always blame the driver . How hard is it to put all items in same bag . I should have known . I am going to delete my account . Blaydon used to be the best macdonalds . Stamfordham road useless . Both useless now .

Apparently these are a normal size mcflurry, when I said they where tiny and the guy was looking, I squashed it down a bit to show how small it was and got told, "well you've just squashed it down" proper joke haha won't be back to this one got to be the worst McDonald's in the north east had loads of orders wrong and cold awefull, better off just going to the metro centre one much better, won't be back 🤣

Missing 15 chicken nuggets from order and tried to call 7 times and they cut you off.

I live close to This Macdonalds and have been frequenting it for over a decade now. This Macdonalds has gone severely downhill, it used to be one of the better ones but now the service is slow and rude, the food is often cold and just thrown together, just do yourself a favour and avoid this place.

Never get the order right. Multiple drive thru orders where I’ve modified a burger and ended up with a burger from a delivery order instead entirely different. Had a few occasions of this, happy to let one or two side as I appreciate it’s a busy job but multiple occurrences with no correction or offer to sort it is frustrating. Will just drive to the next McD along next time

Ordered from here a few times and had a problem every time with order. Actually messed up an order of two cheeseburgers and two chips tonight - brilliant 😂 Made this mistake of ordering from here after this last review - mistakes galore again. AVOID. Ironically the Metro Centre one always seems to get it spot on.

3 McDelivery orders from this restaurant. 2 have been missing one of the burgers ordered. You ring to try and rectify it and nobody picks up. How hard is it?

I pre ordered the delivery for 17.55, arrived at 18.15 and items were missing, absolutely hopeless

McFlurry was missing. Drinks ordered were toppled over and had spilled all over bag. Delivery driver pretty much shoved bags in hand, claimed drinks spillage was due to the restaurant giving us dodgy lids (they were fine) and ran off.

Why is McDonald’s so consistent with missing items from a JustEat delivery? It’s always McFlurries too, surely if the machine isn’t working or whatever the usual excuse is, why do the people packing the order think that somebody is gonna be fine with some of their order being missing. Surely you’d use your brain and replace the missing (out of stock item) with something of similar price.

Did not arrive delivery driver ignored my msgs to him and clear directions to my house and either ate it his self or gave it to someone else

Bought my supper tonight 5 chicken selects ,chips and a drink travelled home took them out of the bag to find cheesy nuggets not selects. Drove the 3mile back explained it wasn't what I ordered. I asked the assistant if I could have a few extra selects to compensate for the diesel I'd used having to take these back and get what I ordered but no just 5selects in the box . All I got was sorry so as far as customer satisfaction goes stinks at blaydon mcdonalds I won't be going back

Recommendation from delivery drivers, avoid to take mcdonalds delivery as they waste too mich of your precious time especially “Blaydon On Tyne” one.. Thanks

Food was freezing sprite tasted like soda water

The courier was at the restaurant for over an hour, when the food arrived it was stone cold, rock solid and completely inedible. I dont know how long it was sat for but it was minging
