Food was nice, especially the fried rice and dim sum. Sweet and sour dishes are amazing as well.

Beautiful food. Always get the chicken balls anyway but decided to try the char siu chow mein this time instead of my usual prawn or chicken one and pleased I did. Plenty char siu in it and beautifully made. Would definitely have this one again. ❤️😋⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food we received was all very soggy the sauce was far to watery and there was hardly any chicken it was almost only chips. Would never recommend this place and when I tried to ring up to complain they would not pick up time after time

First time ordering and this is definitely our new Chinese. Food was divine, and as someone whos really picky with meat, it was all perfect. Would love it if house special salt and chilli could be added to the menu though! They even included a free chicken curry which is unheard of these days. Thank you!

Cannot fault it anywhere. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavours were so delicious. Every single item felt like it had been really laboured over. Huge portions on each item as well. Delivered dot on time. Something big to mention is a free chicken curry portion was included in our order simply due to us being a returning customer. Phenomenal customer service. Big thank you. Ordered food it came went to wrong house so ended up running round the street with food in hand got the food and it's disgusting extremely dry and very lumpy sauces I rang to tell them and they hung up on me after saying oh well that's how it's done ya spend 35 pound for food to go in the bin because u can't eat it wow won't be going back there again no way

The food was delicious! Best takeaway pad thai I've had, honestly. The king prawns were big and juicy too. Also, they gave me 10 free mini spring rolls as a first time customer which was very nice of them... and they were good! Definitely be ordering again!

First time ordering. House special chow mein was very disappointing. Hardly any meat and quite dry. However thats not the worst part. Busy eating it and bite down on abit of metal. Looks like its from those metal scourers used to wash dishes. Been totally put off the rest of the meal!

I ordered Veg Spring Rolls + Duck with Hoisin Sauce. Spring Rolls had Sweetcorn inside, absolutely lovely, The Duck was also lovely, the veg that came with the Duck was fresh and tasty. The Food was nice and hot and, the delivery driver was polite and helpful. I will definitely order again and recommend China Inn to friends and family.

Well haven't been here for couple of months and after the taste of food tonight it will stay the same chips were dry and no taste rice was tasteless prawn crackers no taste and hard definitely gone down hill seems they are using cheaper ingredients pity as food used to be OK and delivery was 40 minutes late

Food was lovely as always but it was disappointing that it was 25 minutes late when we ordered it the day before. We specifically ordered for 6pm because we had young children eating with us.

Really really good Chinese food. Trust me, I’m Malaysian, we know our Asian food. Not sure why this place has gotten such low reviews. I personally recommend the sweet & sour chicken and the char siew fried rice. The dude at the counter is always friendly and welcoming. Father son duo 💪

Food was so good, tastes fresh, was very surprised by the size of the vegetable spring rolls, was a bit late but I can blame that on the weather and the fact our place is hard to find. Over all really nice food and really nice flavours.

Order took nearly 2 and a half Hours. All Order was wrong apart from Egg Fried Rice

First time customer..Brilliant food and lovely staff!

Ordered for collection first time since it was taken over. We've used this for years ordered a house szechuan and a fake chicken szechuan. When it came it was pork, visible bits of fat. I rang and they denied it- said it was battered fake chicked. There was no batter. They asked for a photograph- sent one and they changed their story to only one battered. I stayed calm, they were incredibly rude. Even hung up on me at one point. The meat meal had very little taste and prawn crackers tasted dirty

Would not recommend ordering here. Tried it last week and me and my partner were both up during the night spewing up. Its not rated very well for a reason as we found out

Took 1hr 30min to arrive chips stone cold and hard iv heard of triple cooked but these had been cooked to death, rest of food not bad

Avoid the place like the plague. Spent about £19 on a munchie box had 3x as much from other places for £12. Found a hair in it straight away. Barely any chicken at all about 5 tiny bits, about 4 ribs all horrible full of gristle. Few tiny spring rolls out of a packet and the rest just a pile of dry chips. Proper rip off n took ages to come.

Waited 3 hours for them to cancel my order. Ironically, I chose these because of a shorter wait time. Never mind no room at the Inn, no food from China Inn!

To call to place an order then be greated bye an answer machine direction to there wen site i give up ordered elseware

First time trying and would definitely order again. Nice selections on menu especially Japanese (the prawn Katsu nigiri was beautiful) everything delivered hot. Of I'd read these reviews beforehand it probably would have put me off ordering, but in all honesty its been one of the best chinese take outs weve had in a while.

Just had takeaway from here. Ordered Kathy curry with chips, rice and noodles, omg amazing, very tasty and huge portion. Also ordered Bao bun with prawn which is our new favourite so delicious. Menu has lots of Japanese dishes, huge variety and great prices and quick delivery. New favourite takeaway x

We have wanted to try this for a while. Went on for two consecutive nights and they had closed off their platform of Uber eats 30-45mins before displayed closing time. Wouldn’t even bother trying again. Just time wasters.

Absolutely shocking. Delivered food that was not suitable for human consumption , I ordered house special chow mein and the chow Sui pork was off. It was disgusting. I rang to explain and the person on the other end was very rude. I asked for a refund as the food was inedible. After 5 minutes on the phone I demanded a refund. They sent a child who appeared to be around 10 years old to my door. I gave her the food back and she refused to give my money back. The driver sat in the car until I asked him to come to my door. I explained I had ate a few mouthfuls of the food as how else would I have known the pork was off. They took the food back and refused to give a refund. Now out of pocket. Absolutely disgraceful!!

Refused to deliver our food as there are road works on the route they wanted to come My husband has had to drive down. Which is literally an extra minute on drive time. They rang to notify us 2hrs after placing the order. God knows what it's going to taste like or even edible when we get it. Because the driver says he has tried and tried and tried to deliver it. So I'm expecting it to be cold when it comes. Will update once eaten.

Placed an order food was cold,so cold would not be able to eat..rang them up to ask for replacement meal and was offered a discount off next meal,even though I paid £22 for meal.told them this was unacceptable sonwanted a replacement meal..was then told to put food back in containers which I did as they needed proof replacement meal came and was disgusted may aswel of just ordered onions and rice as was hardly anything else in.will never order again worst chinese meal I have ever had.sweet and sour sauce was basically gravy

Just received my order and was terrible. Rice cold and stodgy. Chowmein the same. Chips terrible. Salt and pepper chicken cold and dry with no flavour it's just chicken with onion. Pre cooked. Probably why it only took about 25 minutes to arrive.

Absolutely appalled not only by China Inn but by Just Eat as well. We had a terrible meal delivered, ribs had no meat - pure fat, the chips were hard and chicken was rubbery. This prompted us to request a refund, which neither parties wanted to give us. China Inn wanted to check our bins to see the food, and Just Eat were willing to give a meagre £10 voucher max! China Inn said they would then give us a refund after a long argument and would call Just Eat. They then called Just Eat to say they were not going to refund us for the meal. And Just Eat told us just to leave a review so that this dire restaurant may improve. Do not order from this restaurant. Truly awful!

Parts of the order missing, disappointing when you repeat yourself a number of times get them to read the order back. Then when you ring up they say they never wrote that down but remember you asking for it.
