Lovely family run business. Food was made on the premises and was great. The sausage rolls and cakes are amazing, we will definatly be going again. Friendly efficient staff and beautiful little tea room.

Visited with my daughter on our usual Saturday quest to taste scones wherever we end up. This Saturday we needed to visit Darlington so we asked a local shop owner where the best scones were and here was where he recommended. Small little cafe couple tables downstairs few more upstairs but we visited before lunch and got seated straight away. Although it was early was no fruit scones left which was disappointing so only managed to test the cheese scone - deluxe hot chocolate but no cream so daughter a tad disappointed They did warm scones if asked so nice bonus. Tea was in a teapot which is preferable but it was very strong. Some hot water might have helped I could have asked I guess Prices were good Service acceptable - not the fastest service when standing in queue. There was a large queue outside when we left so presume it gets rather busy at times.

Brilliant experience, well worth a visit. Downstairs is a really nice wine bar and upstairs is the restaurant. The guy at the front of house was faultless, so attentive and a great host. Menu choice was really good and the quality of food was exceptional.

What a pleasant find. Initially we walked passed thinking it was just a sandwich bar because all of the restaurants were shut on Monday we came back. Thank goodness we did, a good choice of freshly cooked healthy meals, my chicken flatbread was delicious.

This venture aims to offer Vegan foods & other artisanal products. I've bought red lentils in my own box. I've tried the coffee with non-animal milk but it's not my personal cup of tea. The bar shampoo is great very foamy & extraordinarily economical. You're not carting around, paying for or wasting a load of water or packaging.

Stopped off for brunch on route from Leeds and were delighted with our poached eggs , guacomole and Parma ham on toast . Perfectly cooked and my daughter loved her iced coffee cup and glass straw with a butterfly on it ! My cappuccino was the nicest I’ve had for a long while . We loved the decor and the service was excellent . So glad we found you , thank you for being one of the highlights of our day .

Me and my friend stopped in for a milkshake and sorbet scoop. We could not believe how we had not gone before! The milkshake and sorbet was absolutely delicious, shop was clean and tidy and most notably the customer service was excellent. The price was more than reasonable and we will definitely be returning!

I was there with friends for lunch last week, twice in fact. We had a most delicious meal followed by home made Victoria sponge and coffee. We really enjoyed sitting upstairs, watching the High Row activity eating outstanding food and drinking the fabulous coffee. The service was great and the owner very attentive. If you have never been, why pay 50% more for an inferior coffee and food at a more well known cafe when Rosie's are open?
