Lovely family run business. Food was made on the premises and was great. The sausage rolls and cakes are amazing, we will definatly be going again. Friendly efficient staff and beautiful little tea room.

What an amazing place! We came for afternoon tea and the food was out of this world. And there was so much! Real value for money. The sandwiches were delicious and the cakes were the best I have ever tasted. Had to box up what we couldn’t eat to take home. The lady who made the food was lovely and friendly as was her son. I highly recommend this tea shop and we will be going back!

8 of us wanted something different to do for a birthday meet up and chose afternoon tea here, it was a lovely afternoon with brilliant service, home made delicious food and refilled tea, coffee and iced coffee. The owner made everything fun and we would all go back as it was such a relaxed place and experience

20 Grange Road, Darlington DL1 5NG EnglandWent on Friday took just under an hour for the food to arrive which I wouldn’t mind if it’s all fresh.When the food arrived both burgers were cold but didn’t want to wait any longer for a fresh one.The food was amazing and worth every penny.No staff came over to ask how the food is,asked if we wanted anymore drinks or bring the bill over.We ended up going upto the till to pay and noticed how much the staff were rushing round and I really felt sorry for them.I think the owners really need to consider getting more staff to keep up with the demand.It would have been a 5 star review but the service really let it down.

1-2 West Row, Covered Market,Definitely the best Cafe in Darlington without a doubt, the menu choice, the food, the service is excellent top marks. I have been coming to this cafe for over a year now. This cafe should continue with same staff, service, menu choices and food. Best In Darlington by far. It would be an injustice and a tragedy if it was to close or change.
