Recently moved to Ryton so only called in here once before today , which I had enjoyed so decided to go back with a friend who was visiting me .
This is such a lovely family run coffee shop , I had the ham & cheese panini which the owner was happy to add onion and coleslaw at my request without question.
My friend had ‘Pie of the day’ which was corned beef pie which she said was
delicious. I felt full after my meal but my friend managed to fit in a chocolate cake from the choice of freshly baked cakes and scones, as they all looked so delicious she also bought two cheese scones to take home with her as the display was so tempting .
I feel it’s also mentioning everything is kept spotlessly clean especially the very tastefully decorated toilets . Great food and service happy to recommend.
Great food, wraps are amazing and seasoned chips taste great. Chicken shawarma is my go to order but also love the cheese garlic bread. The portion size is very filling with the wrap and chips :)
First discovered on Facebook and made a promise to myself that we’d visit the first opportunity we had. Voila!! Done that this morning on our way home to Lancashire and wasn’t disappointed. Menu is great- plenty of breakfast options- we both had a light breakfast which was substantial and just delicious- and proper thick toast. The accompanying coffee was lovely- strong just as we like. This pitstop breakfast set us up for our journey back home. We’ll definitely return next time we’re over that way- and maybe I’ll not forget the scones/cakes I’d promised myself I’d be bring back with me!!
Beautiful seafood dishes. Great staff. Quaint little restaurant with a beautiful outdoor seating area. I visited for the first time today for lunch and will definitely be returning soon. Such an amazing place to have right on my doorstep. Love it!
We only ordered beef curry, fried rice and extra curry sauce this time. Although we used to go weekly here when we were younger and pre kids, there is so much more choice nowadays. However, for us, there is so taste is just as good as it always has been. Delivery was quicker than stated and brought back happy memories.
When you walk into this store you really do appreciate how many different beers are brewed in the northeast region of England. There is an amazing selection of beers and there is nothing better than being able to enjoy a good local brew on a long train journey. Prices are varied but value for money especially considering the quality and range of beers sold. Also excellent for any last-minute Christmas shopping you need to do before boarding the train home!
Dog friendly cafe open Friday through Sunday. We enjoyed chicken tenders, beef and roast potatoes burger & skin on chips. Delicious and good value. Fantastic milkshakes too.
Lovely friendly coffee stop on the prom at Seaburn. Great breakfast sarnis, good coffee, super friendly service, and a little sun trap (when it's out). Go and enjoy!
Closed at 10 15 on a Saturday night… wasn’t busy but plenty people in … good example of how small businesses fail instead of trying to build business and encourage repeat custom, ask them to leave and probably won’t return….
Lovely pies and bakes on show, so tempting and clearly made by someone who knows how to get traditional home baking looking just right. Enjoyed a tasty lunch and a cornflake tart to take home. Will be back to sample more of the menu
