The best restaurants in London

£10.50 for Lamb soup but all I got was carrot soup. As there was only the tiniest piece of lamb, one potato and one piece of yam. I did msg the establishment but was ignored.

Very good, was served quickly, options explained clearly. Friendly staff. The lady, Divya on the till, was very helpful.

Great place with great food! Highly recommended!

Family birthday lunch was excellent. Fixed price menu not available Fridays so we had an Irish tapas experience: a wide mixture of starters. They included sea bass ceviche (fresh and zingy) a jug of prawns served plain, mussels in a parsley butter sauce, wickedly crisp chips, and bright green cabbage in garlic. The food was very high quality. The Guinness was good and the Irish coffees made with Irish whiskey measures, not measly English ones! The Albanian waiter was charming and efficient. We loved the black and white pictures by Jane Bown ( on the stairs) of Irish icons like Sinead O’Connor and Edna OBrien. Altogether a joyful experience

We've been in town from the U.S. visiting family and have been to Arthur' Cafe twice. The food is so good. If you haven't tried it before, get the breakfast with black pudding(blood sausage). It is different, but tasty. And their hot tea is british style at its finest.

Surprisingly a small venue made even smaller because the internal space have been sub-divided into smaller event spaces.

Great food, small vebnue but done to a really high standard. Waiters also very nice and seemed to know a lot about the food and wine pairings etc which was a nice touch. Looking forward to coming again.

Met a friend here today on my birthday,cdnt believe how busy it was but now l know.A beautiful young lady greeted me and asked what I'd like almost immediately. My friend and l chose the delicious home made cake and when my slice arrived with a lighted candle in it the whole café broke into Happy Birthday. I'd had a sad morning but what a happy afternoon. Highly recommend this place you won't be disappointed.

We really enjoyed mid-week dinner of vegetarian and meat food. Nice atmosphere, generous portions, £80 for a starter, 3 mains, salad and a bottle of wine. Will come back.

Looking for a relaxing place for brunch , The Ginger frog is the place to go. Amazing food, especially the Eggs Benedict and French toast and bacon. Coffee is smooth and service with a smile perfect
