Husband and I had a fabulous evening here . We came on a Virgin experience. Cocktails super. Food delicious and generous. Service was wonderful, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Good ambience too. A little old fashioned but in a comforting way not at all stuffy. Thoroughly recommend.

I cannot comprehend the negative reviews. I have been eating at Mossiman's Club for years and it has always been amongst the best restaurant in London. The building is not shabby and it does not smell musty. Maybe the people who wrote the negative reviews should continue eating at their local Pizza restaurant. Simple, clean, fast food. My pre-retirement background was in the hospitality industry so I know about fine-dining restaurants and I know about restaurants at the bottom of the chain. Mossiman's Club is fine dining. The pre-Christmas social round has found me in 4 central London restaurants in the past 10 days. Mossiman's Club was the best. This week I was at a table of 8 people at Mossiman's and most of us have a hospitality background. We all agreed that the meal, the wine and the service was superb

We had bid for a private dining experience for two. The musty smell of the building was noticeable when we arrived. The stairs tatty, and the musty smell almost overwhelming in the dining room. I almost asked for air freshener but it may have tainted the food! A most odd evening. The staff were s credit to the restaurant however. You have a bell on your table and the room was like a 1980’s leather clad padded cell. There is a lock in the door. Sordid? We’ve been married years and thought it funny so had a great time nevertheless. Nice glass of Lanson, wine flights all good. Good trout starter. Lazy overcooked fillet, pepper sauce, 2 boiled potatoes (were supposed to be roast?), a bit of veg. Good dessert. Had the chef not turned up for work? Honestly I could have cooked this at home and I’m no cook. As Mosimanns has a Michelin history, this was disappointing.

This is a unique venue. Very interesting in its design and location. The staff are top class as is the food. It is 5 star luxury meals in appearance, flavour and quality. A class act.

We enjoyed a special evening with dear friends for a celebration and everything was so well executed. The atmosphere, service and food was first rate. For a special occasion, this is perfect. It’s old school posh but not stuffy.

Not sure what is going on, but the food was shocking. A starter that had clearly been prepared ahead of time - crab on a bed of smoked salmon with spring onions and a strange lemon sauce, must have taken 30 seconds to prepare ..followed by an overcooked steak ( odd - as were advised, and ordered it, medium rare) - again covered in a very simple sauce accompanied by what looked like a supermarket veg medley and two potatoes ( not sure if they were meant to be roast..). Bread and Butter pudding was OK. Its a pity as the building is stunning and the service is very good - but you cant get away with such poor cooking. The Mossiman name is above the door - and they really need to make sure that the food is up to scratch. I cant be the only person thinking this way - there were only 2 other tables occupied on a Saturday night - in London….

Bland and outrageously overpriced Afternoon Tea that highlights that greed outweighs good quality. My mother, sister and I booked for the Afternoon Tea with Champagne at £40 a head at The Spirit of Christmas at Olympia on 5th November 2022. The only positive about the experience was the glass of champagne and there is no complaint with the £10 cost. The same cannot be said for the what was provided as Afternoon Tea for £30 each. We were provided with 3 finger sandwiches of each filling offered that had they all been put together would just have made 2 whole sandwiches. The bread was standard sliced bread and no additional flavours to compliment the fillings which would have given the sandwiches at least some taste. The egg and salmon and cream cheese offerings were no better than that you could buy in the local supermarket. The coronation chicken was bland and the citrus infused tuna had sweetcorn in it and didn’t taste of citrus. Moving on to the scones, we had 3 but one was considerably smaller than the others and was squashed. To accompany the scones we had 2 very unattractive small plastic pots of clotted cream and 2 small jars of strawberry jam, not enough for 3 scones. The dessert offerings unfortunately follow in the same vein as the sandwiches, the tiny macaron did not taste of mulled wine, the tiny chocolate brownie did not have any cinnamon flavour and the tiny almond and blackberry tartlet tasted of pastry only. To add insult to the injury of paying £30 each for the above we were then provided with surly waiting staff and 2 dirty plates. A treat of afternoon tea and glass of champagne has been a girly treat for us for many years at the Christmas shows and this is not something that we will be doing again after the extremely disappointing, bland, highly overpriced offering that was provided this year.

Experience of a lifetime (but a couple of quibbles). Wine and service exceptional. Menu didn’t show me being a pescatarian although they accommodated my dietary preferences quickly (they had been informed). Mushroom risotto excellent. My fish dish was good but came with green veg only so a little bland. Husbands lamb was fabulous. Passion fruit mousse too tart for me (made my eyes water!), but lovely all the same. Coffee and petit fours lovely. This is a very expensive meal experience and we were made to feel very special. Room lovely but needs some tlc in places.

We been invited by friends that are member in this wonderful club, the decor is the one of a club that remained in the eighties, but still appreciable, it was like taking a leap into the past. The food we thought was better honestly, some of the dishes ordered were lukewarm and tasteless, a little bland. The most unpleasant thing of the evening was the service, we received the main courses while we were still eating our starter, you could immediately see that in this place there is a lack of service management, we tried to ask to speak with the manager but we were told that he was not present, with the restaurant full this is unacceptable, even more so when you pay large amounts to be a member of the club. The only positive note of the evening in the dining room service was Valentine, this girl welcomed us with a sincere smile, and with her performance she saved us from a gruesome service.

Opted for the Vegetarian tasting menu with paired wines. Experienced the MontBlanc room . Service was good...ish - failed to clear our plates before the next course arrived. Room a little shabby- cupboard door was hanging off its hinge. Wine amazing . Vegetarian food a big flop. Dried up pumpkin slice with some polenta cooked in vanilla fell well below what we expected from this venue. Vegan dessert was three tablets of chocolate- again underwelming. We also had soup? Come on Mossimans! We felt like like we were being punished for being veggie. Despite the food we had a great evening . We laughed a lot at the food in the privacy of our room for 2 . Only Mossiman was having the last laugh as he charged us £500 for the privilege.

The best michelin restaurant in London hands down. The food is constantly consistent and the service is impeccable. The staff here take the initiative (of course they are michelin trained and Mosimann's are the official caterers to the royal family) so would not expect anything less. Cannot fault at all.

We been there couple of weeks ago for dinner. Amazing venue we been served by Andrea which give us an amazing experience she showed us all the private rooms of the club and give us a impeccable service! Food good quality but we were expecting a bit more. Highly recommended..

Fantastic service and delicious food in this most interesting setting. Tables are well spaced so conversations were private. My beef cheek was excellent and I hope to be invited again to this private club!

We recently had our private dinning event with the team in the Lalique room on 17th December. The food, wine staff were all excellent from the moment we stepped through the door till we left.

I have come back after my first visit to this restaurant & I know my reason my marking it as a 1 star may seem petty to some however in this day & age, this is wrong & they are out of order........all I simply wanted to do was take my blazer off, as I feel more comfortable when eating. I was told by a waiter that it was the company policy for a male to not take his jacket off. I queried this & asked if it was a policy for a lady to take their jacket off & the waiter laughed & told me no. The food was very good & so was the service however the lasting memory of this visit is a petty sexist rule this company has.

Ein besonderer Platz mitten in London! Exzellente Küche und ein ganz hervorragend sortierter Weinkeller. Besonders gut hatt mit die besondere Tischdeckoration bestehend aus silbernen Tieren gefallen. Ein Platz zum entspannten Treffen mit Geschäftsfreunden und Freunden zum Verweilen und genießen. Am besten einen Tisch im ersten OG reservieren, sehr intim!

I attended a dinner in the private dining room which was lovely with a small terrace to enjoy champagne. The service was great, yummy food, tasty and fresh!

El cuarto (el cuarto de Garrard) era agradable, aunque parecía un poco extraño estar en un cuarto patrocinado por una compañía de joyería.La comida era sabrosa, tenía un entrante de salmón curado y un filete de ternera, seguido de algo de limón (me he olvidado un poco de lo que era). Además, el servicio era excelente, la comida se servía al mismo tiempo. Esto no es una hazaña media a la luz del número de portadas.

An old favourite still stands head and shoulders over the new pretenders for fine dining. Although small, the menu caters for all tastes although it could veer a bit more towards the vegetarian. The Belfry bar still serves splendid house champagne in comfortable seating and the main restaurant is superbly dressed in floral the likes of which I’ve never seen elsewhere. A little less enthusiasm from the maitre de would help as was the service which was too fast but as an experience of stylish dining experience you would be hard placed to beat it.

We had a fantastic evening at Mosimann. We met the Chef and he recommended a few dishes. The food was exquisite and the atmosphere was surpassed only by the quality of the guests. A high quality restaurant!

I have been invited several times for lunch to this large, but very intimate, dining club . It is always very good with great service and elegant and clean cooking.

I never expected to find Mosimann's to be on Trip Advisor and as I visited last night I looked it up and to my delight it was there and so have wasted no time in reviewing it. First of the Club is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The service is excellent and the food is the the other three stars. For two it was excellent value and if you get the chance to visit go- and have a truly wonderful experience. The mushroom risotto is so good but on the down side the portion far too small-that was disappointing. The medallion of beef speaks for itself and was just as incredible. Well done to all and that goes for Chef and his crew as well.

Anton Mosimanfollowed by steak tartaren has a a reputation as one of the great chefs. We dined at is club last week and were not disappointed, professional service but nothing over the top, oysters gratin, followed by steak tartare, so well made I didn't even need to add pepper and salt. For the level of service, surroundings and the quality of the food it was not overly expensive either.

I cannot find words to describle the most incredible meal at Mosimann's, the seafood starters surpassed anything I have tasted, needless to say, the bread and butter pudding was sublime as was our dining experience.

We have had an excellent dinner organized by a famous football club in London this week! Very friendly people and idem service! The Beef Wellington was very well prepared and had a great taste! Dessert was served with rhubarb, a specialty from the ‘house’!

Never been to such a posh restaurant as this and had dinner in the Bentley themed room. A very nondescript entrance that opens out to a multi floored building. Looked a bit dated. Food and service were good. Lamb was especially good but for the money it could have been a bit more special. I guess in this area there are people with more money than sense!

Whilst it was a private dinner, the experience at Mosimann’s was excellent. Discrete and attentive service together with fab food.

Really lovely and professional staff and they can really cook, these chaps are expert you will find them all over the place cooking, it's so their thing, they serve everyone from a plumber at Lunch to hmmm HM the Queen tucking into their stunning mini scones yesterday at polo. Plus they give great training and support to catering students every year with real world training. Chow down in any Mosi joint and you will eat properly. Enjoy.

Empezamos por un aperitivo de arriba donde probamos el champán de mosimann junto con algunos petit fours. Servicio en el área del bar (arriba) era muy pobre, con básicamente sólo la escuela de hospitalidad pasantes apenas habla inglés y sin tener idea de lo que estaba ocurriendo.

Decided to book a the Montblanc private dining room (billed as the smallest private dining room in the world) for my husband's 6oth birthday.

Excellent food. Highly professional service and vary spacious. Unusually for a restaurant, no table is close to another.

We had a private dinning room (I was a guest). The initial signs were not brilliant i.e. up many stairs and feeling that we had been put 'out the back' but gosh - jumping straight to it - the beef on the main course was just 'awesome' (if I can borrow a term from our American cousins). I am not a beef-person and I hate a piece of meat I have to fight with but this was - as per my title - exquisite. By far the best I have had in a considerable while. In fact, the whole dining experience was wonderful.

Had a lunch in the loft room. Simply awesome food and the service was exemplorary. There where about 50 in our party and it was happy faces all round.

Attended a larger group dinner. Superb cuisine. Staff terrific In a unique venue. Run by a well known chef and entrepreneur mr. Mosimann who is originally from Switzerland. Had worked at the Dorchester for many years. Great discovery

The food was excellent. Salmon, lamb, cheese. But. I am unshelled by stained cutlery. Stained forks. A mix of left and right serving and clearing. And the worst ? Dregs from red wine poured into my glass. These are basics and maybe some wait staff training is needed ?

We visited as a four and had a table in the main dining room. Well, from start to finish everything was perfect, the service was excellent and so very friendly, the food was sublime and I agree with a previous reviewer, the ladies toilet was an experience in itself!! My handbag also had it's own stool and thoroughly enjoyed the evening too.

I do not know what they pretend to be but it is not such a fantastic restaurant! Food is average, service cold and distant, private rooms are an advertising of brands....in summary....best options in London....at least I will not repeat.....it does not rate poor but average is the best I can rate them!

Hemos cenado aquí en muchas ocasiones y siempre es maravilloso. Solemos ir por los platos clásicos y nunca me decepcionó. Siempre nos reserva la habitación montblanc, que es un gran lugar para un almuerzo o cena para dos.

I just love this place and they serve the best risotto in the world - it's "simply to die for" Another speciality - the bread and butter pudding, jammi! The staff is very friendly and attentive - a must for me, whenever I am in London.

Was a guest at a meal in the private Bentley Room and this was an excellent location for a meal. The service was exceptional - friendly but unobtrusive and added greatly to the whole experience. Food too was very good but perhaps not quite up to the standard that I had thought it would be - portion size limited. Wine was excellent. All in all my first visit to a restaurant with the name of a renowned chef and a very enjoyable evening.

Mosimann's took our same day booking for approximately 35 people at extremely short notice and were able to provide a fantastic meal and superb personal service in their private dining Garrard room, an elegant room that sits in the belfry at the top of a spiral staircase.The personal service provided was impeccable, attentive yet unobtrusive and the quality of the 3 course evening dinner served was absolutely wonderful both to the eye and palate. I thoroughly recommend a visit to try this exclusive dining club.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years. The service is always excellent. The food can be excellent but not always.I always enjoy the experience here. There are numerous private rooms here, however I have never dined in one of them.Recommended.

My first visit and very impressed. Great yet unobtrusive service . The food as you would expect was excellent. On such a hot day the saffron gnocchi was a great option and the legendary bread and butter pudding lived up to its reputation. I had not been Mosimann in a while. I have been going there since it opened and I love the place.We had dinner there and I hate to say that the food was okay, but really nothing to write home about.I had marinated salmon with Dorset crab which was bland and a steak tartare, again banal.I feel the problem is that there are so many good restaurants in London these days that banal does not cut it anymore especially as a club.I think Anton Mosimamm is not in the kitchen anymore and unfortunately, it shows.The service was excellent though.

Anton Mosimann has been my favourit cook for the last 25 years. I celebrated one may 11 my 80th. aniversary together with my wife and some very good friends.Mosimann was at his club this evening and welcomned us personally. As a birthdaygift I got his latest cookerybook with his dedication and an extra birthdaycake after the desert.

Went with friends and found it was magic night. Just amazing how he managed to get my watch off my wrist. Staff very attentive and food to die for.

Visited 9th March for drinks and canapés hosted in the Parmigiani room. On arrival I was asked what I'd like to drink, I asked for a Fevertree Tonic Water, if that's wasn't available then a tonic water, I was given an Elderflower drink no explanation. I'm not a fan of Elderflower drinks, so asked again for a tonic water, and again, and again!! I finally got a tonic water after an hour or more. The canapés that were offered looked delicious, however, not one member of staff on the evening knew what was in the canapés other than the Mushroom Risotto, when asked the reply was I'll go ask chef! This is a very poor reflection on the chef, how could any chef let food leave his kitchen without briefing the staff on its ingredients?I enjoyed 3 bowls of Mushroom Risotto, sadly didn't eat anything else as I didn't know what was being offered.

Selten so herzlich empfangen worden und noch seltener so hervorragend gegessen. Herr Anton Mosimann hat uns persönlich empfangen und begrüsst. Anschliessend hat er uns durch alle Räumlichkeiten der imposanten "Kirche" geführt. Zu jedem Private Dining Room erzählte er uns die passende, interessante Geschichte dazu. Sogar in die Küche durften wir. Aber das grösste Highlight war, dass Herr Mosimann mit uns das Apéro mit Champagner und Häppchen eingenommen hat und uns mit seinen unglaublich interessanten Lebensgeschichten unterhalten hat. Danke dafür! Das werden wir nie, niemals vergessen. Anschliessend durften wir uns an unseren reservierten 6er Tisch setzen. Wir alle haben uns für das "Mosimann-Menu" entschieden. Die beste Entscheidung die wir je getroffen haben! Das Essen war einfach göttlich. Jeder Gang einfach nur himmlisch. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Danke Herr Mosimann und Team! Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal.

It is a real treat to dine at Mosimann's. The service from the moment the door is opened for you to the final chocolate truffle was exceptional. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere perfect. A real treat

I have been lucky enough to have dined here before but had forgotten how stunning both the venue and the food were. The building is plain ish outside, but once inside, the decor and structure can't fail to impress. The welcome was warm, the service fast efficient, but not pushy. The atmosphere was relaxed. Now, the food! The only words I can think of, that are adequate without consulting a dictionary are Yummy & Yummy. The Caesar salad was the best I've ever had, the beef was as tender / tasty as it could be and ample in size and the panna cotta was just sublime. As a guest, I didn't see the bill, but know it wouldn't have been cheap. But even without knowing, I would go back, have the same and pay myself! If you can go.

Mossimans pulls all the stops out, every time.Sandwiched in architecture in Halkin Street this is the gem.The old Belfry is steeped in history , architectural design, carved oak, stained glass windows, gallery terraces with a central viewing, private dinning areas, bar, professional staff, and exceptional catering and hospitality.You pay for the experience which is well worth it for excellence.

This club never fails to deliver. Lovely atmosphere, impeccable old world service, delicious food and great value to boot.I have never had a disappointing meal at Mosimann and look forward to dining there more regularly in the future.

Oak smoked salmon starter was very nice but nothing exceptional. After that it just got better and better. The steak main, and roast baby potatoes were exceptional. The finely sliced vegetables (carrot, cabbage, Brussels sprouts?) with a mustard flavour were some of the best tasting vegetables I've had. The cheese course looked and tasted amazing with a fantastic selection of biscuits and breads. Coffee which can often be a mediocre filter coffee for a large group was proper coffee with steamed milk. Great choc truffles and an extravagant brandy snap. Even the toilets were stylish. Great service and Overall a great evening.

Very good all around, I would recommend it for a spot of lunch with friends, talented chefs and a first class wine list in a lovely location.

"won" a dinner event for 10 friends last Saturday night. Met by Mr Mosimann which was a great start.Other than that, the overall service was not great. Booked into the lalique room with limited standing room to drink our aperitifs and asked to move temporarily to bar area to chat. Told we couldn't "mingle" with the members Made us feel 2nd class. No music on our room although we could hire a speaker for £40. Unusual take on providing ambience. Wine average although champagne was good. Food on the whole OK although desert (pineapple) was raw and 8 of 10 guests did not complete. No-one enquired why. Waitress was friendly enough on the whole but lacking ambience and felt like we were in the way.

What a wonderful experience every time one visits Mosimann's the Service impeccable , Cuisine fantastic, and the Ambiance brilliant. It's always a special treat having either Lunch or Dinner, this time it was Lunch and may i recommend Anton's Coronation Chicken followed by the Seared Filet of British Beef in a Red Wine Sauce and Market Vegetables. My favourite Desert is Anton's Bread and Butter Pudding, although on this occasion i enjoyed the Swiss Chocolate Delice with Rasperry Sauce. The Wine selection is superb and the Somelier will recommend the right wine to go with your meal. For Special occasions, or in fact any excuse this is one of the finest restaurants in the UK

We had a wonderful meal with great service, lovely wines and delicious food. Nothing was too much trouble and the setting was spectacular in a large room at the top of the building. The vegetarian menu was unusual and very tasty.

Lovely setting, great food, wonderful wine and very attentive staff. What more could you ask for. This quirky place is not at all what I had expected. The hundreds of photos of Anton with celebrity guests adds charm to the beautiful rooms.

Visited Mosimanns for my wife's birthday. We ate in the Mount Blanc room which was a private room for two. We had a buzzer to call our waiter for service which was prompt and courteous. I had ox cheeks for stater and we shared the chateaubriand, finishing with a selection of desserts including their famous bread and butter pudding.

Was invited by Acorns Charity Trust to join them for dinner at the restaurant. I've been to the restaurant once before because in my youth I worked for Mosimann's Outside Catering. However i have never had the privilege to eat. Canapes to start were amazing and my main course of steak Tartare was the best I have ever tasted. We finished with canapes deserts which worked really well and gave me the chance to try my favorite dish of Bread and Butter pudding. You know why its one of his signature dishes. Service was great. really friendly and attentive!! The Mosimann's Sancerre wine went down VERY VERY well and a great evening was had in such an iconic building. Thank you to all who looked after us on the evening.

En toute simplicité et avec un sourire charmant....Quel honneur de serrer la main de ce chef mythique qui a servit tous les plus grands de la planète.Il n'y a qu'à voir la galerie de photos qui ornent l'escalier principal....A ne pas manquer: les salons privés: ils sont splendides !Ici l'excellence est reine: l'accueil, le service, la cuisine...tout est parfait et remarquablement orchestré par Andrew, le manager du Club.Il chasse la moindre petite imperfection avec un souci du détail permanent.Les serveurs (et serveuses) sont discrets, attentionnés, efficaces.tout est mis en oeuvre pour que vous passiez une soirée inoubliable ! Always worth a visit, always a delightful experience, well prepared fare, excellent service, friendly atmosphere. What more can you ask for. Happy to have revisited.

Anton is one of the best classically chefs in Europe and if cerviche is on the menu it is a must. The Club can seem a little old fashioned now and some of the members have been coming a long time.....and men must be suited and booted. But if you go for the food it rarely disappoints and Anton's sons work hard to maintain standards.

One of those places that I had never been to but the invite arrived and because of the exclusivity I was intrigued and excited. The conversations were fast paced,Intriguing and fun. Sadly the food felt a couple of grades up from mass function catering certainly nothing that the eponymous chef would out his name to in his prime. The chocolate truffle sleeve was the final bit of faded grandeur. Fantastic evening but nothing to do with the food

ExclusiveFine dining, excellent staff, meal superb, exquisite ambiance always a must in our visit to London. Caesar salad and prawns to die for and order whatever game is in season.

Simply superlative. Mosimann's has, for many, many years, been setting the standard all others follow. One of the best dining experiences available; absolutely consistent food, service and ambiance.

What can I say.THis place is just PERFECT.The arrival and welcome by the stuff. Drinks with canapes before ordering dinner. Delicious dishes on a beautiful set up...this has been the best fine dinning experience I had up to now.Really impressive...many 'fine restaurants' could learn a few things from this place.If you have the chance do not even think, just go and see it for yourself.It is 11 out of 10.

From the moment I stepped through the door to be warmly welcomed, I knew this was going to be a good evening. We were gathering for a re-union of school friends in The Bentley Room, which is beautifully and tastefully themed. The dinner itself lived up to high expectations, and the wines complimented our 3 courses well. The service was timely and unobtrusive - not always easy when impromptu speeches are being made!The delightful addition of an opera singer, who was performing for other guests upstairs, only enhanced the occasion. If you're lucky enough to be invited to this fine dining emporium, you should not pass on the opportunity.

Mosimanns managed to always score high on my scale. the centre was the meat, slow cooked and as such achieved a tenderness we can not get to ourself (unless you buy the equipment!).Great place, good wine selection.great night out, thanks.

This has been and will always be a delightful club to visit. An exemplary 'family business'.. Anton built up this institution and has handed over the mantle to his sons who do him proud. The service, the dishes, the environment is delightful. Long may it reign!

Friendly courteous welcome is a great start. Bit of a hike upstairs but this is an old building!Lovely table settings, great service and excellent food. All well cooked and presented.Be lovely to go back next time I am in London.

Una esperienza che merita di essere fatta. Un ristorante famoso tanto che la cucina inglese viene anche suddivisa in prima e dopo Mosimann. Il suo risotto è fantastico e indimenticabile il suo Christmas Pudding che può anche essere comandato per posta!

Everything clicks together, food, ambience, and service- all at a reasonable, for London, price. We all are aware of dining places where it's hard to find something that really appeals. In Mossiman's everything on the menu appeals and the food is perfectly cooked and presented.

Mosimanns invariable keeps up a level of service and cuisine that others can only dream of. My wife and I have been members for many years and are constantly impressed by the consistent standard that the club maintains.
