A fantastic little gem on Sidcup High Street! The food is freshly cooked and the prices are very reasonable for the portions provided. Not to mention the wonderful hospitality of the owners and the cleanliness of the environment. They are very accommodating and there's a large range of food items available (even for me and I follow a gluten free diet). Highly recommend to all locals.

I had the most delicious salmon dish today, you could tell everything was fresh and made from scratch. It was one of the nicest fish based dishes I’ve had in a long time and was welcomed in comparison to other competing restaurants which are offering unhealthy alternatives, I’m glad I spent the time to take a look around for somewhere to sit and eat before choosing McDonald’s as a last resort. The owner is really lovely, staff members are lovely. Very peaceful. Parking of course is scarce but a well rounded, well situated restaurant with clean, fresh food.

One star only because of the dark hair female staff there, not the food and not other staff. We went there to have a breakfast. There was a dark hair female staff there took our order and served us drinks and provided us the cutlery. I realized that every single time when i said thank you for her service, she did not give any response at all. But when my husband said thank you to her she would give a reply every time. That’s rude and ridiculous. Don’t like it. Won’t come back because of her.

I came in last Wednesday since I needed a small spot to study while I was away from the library, the atmosphere and staff in this cafe is the loveliest ! I apologise for not grabbing your name (girl with brown curly hair) she gave me discount on my food out of kindness. Very enjoyable Mother's Day family breakfast at The Kitchen. Five adults and three children had very nice meals and all commented favourably. Adults had mixture of full English and veggie and children had Nutella on toast. Their offer of breakfast plus tea or coffee for £11 is brilliant value

Had breakfast here with my girlfriend this morning, really enjoyed it. The staff service was great and the food was delicious. I had the Full English and my girlfriend had the Bacon & Egg Bagel with Avocado. Definitely recommend.

Ate here with my family today. We had the lamb and beef roasts. They were delicious. Prices were very reasonable too. definitely would recommend.

Lovely Resturant. Delicious food and great atmosphere. Catered to my allergies with no issues. Good selection of children meals, my daughter had the spaghetti bolognaise and loved it. Very nice family owned Resturant. Fast service and everyone there is so friendly. We will be back soon!

My girlfriend and I just finished our meal 5 mins ago as this is posted our meal was perfect. This restaurant has everything you are looking for. Awesome and fresh food, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. If you are looking to have a delicious and fresh meal that is reasonably priced with great service. The staff were helpful and very welcoming, “THE KITCHEN” is the place to be. From my girlfriend and I thank you for an awesome meal and relaxing experience.

Went here a couple weeks ago for the first time and was massively disappointed. Food was cold yet over cooked and the service was slow. Overall not somewhere I'd eat again

Visited here for breakfast a few weeks ago. Me and my friends absolutely loved it here. I ordered the Baked Eggs and Chorizo and it was 10/10. Lovely atmosphere and good food, will definitely be back! Thank you to the waiter Arif for looking after us so well.

Terrible place do not recommend, owner is rude and when you raise a complaint he gets very defensive, never felt so unwelcome

Me & my wife decided to have have breakfast in The Kitchen this morning. Absolutely had a great time. My breakfast was delicious, cooked and served perfectly. The owners were very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Would highly recommend and will be coming back soon.

Originally came in to sit for a coffee and ended up getting lunch. The place had a very chill vibe and had warm and friendly service. I felt comfortable and was even jamming out to the music. I ordered the bacon cheese burger and that soooo good. The food was speedy and overall was just wonderful.

The Kitchen has such a lovely vibe which I feel is lost in a lot of restaurant/cafes in todays age. We walked in and were greeted by the manager/owner who has such an open and relaxed character about him. The food was very fairly priced, and the quality was great; you can tell that each dish is prepared fresh and with good quality produce. What I felt was the best thing about The Kitchen was the approach the staff have towards customers. The fact that the staff took time to talk to the customers in between waiting for orders or after they had finished. This made me feel like I had taken a step back in time. I didn’t feel that I was just the next transaction, I got the impression that the team really appreciate their customers and want them to feel at home. Something that I cannot praise enough! Great price, great vibe, great food! Keep doing what you do guys!

Of all the eateries in Sidcup High Street this is my favourite. A great welcome by "Hakan " a great guy and owner. His family too & friendly staff all of whom make each customer feel special. Thier food is varied, caters for all tastes and nothing is to much trouble. Well worth a visit especially on the last Friday evening of each month. Visiting entertainers!!! Cliff Hughes.

I entered with my family very happy and upbeat and left feeling so unhappy, unwelcome and unsatisfied. There was a strange atmosphere. The waitress put cutlery and napkin on our table in silence. No greeting, smile or comment made. Very unwelcoming. After eating we were left sitting with empty plates for 25 mins while other empty tables were cleared. Nothing to do with a possible excuse of staff shortage. There is no excuse for rudeness. The roast meat was tough very hard to cut and chew. Do not order! We left without our desert as we were starting to feel very uncomfortable - but we were still charged as it was a 2 course minimum. At the till when asked by the man/owner how it was we were honest but got no apology no emotion. I paid and then was asked if I wanted a receipt to which I said yes please, however they were not able to print one and the boss said they needed the one printed! I will NEVER go back. How can someone in the restaurant industry make people feel SO BAD. it spoilt our family lunch out. Sidcup is better than this - there are good people out there. No one has the right to make you feel worthless!

Came in today for a quick lunch. Despite closing in less than an hours time, the staff were super friendly and didn’t rush us at all. Food was great and a really nice atmosphere. Lovely little gem on Sidcup high street and would recommend to anyone. Student discount is a massive bonus, next time I’m back from Sussex I’ll be sure to stop by again :)

Excellent little place! Went with my wife and we had a lovely meal. Food was delicious, staff are very friendly, owner is very friendly and welcoming and I their coffee is very nice! Well priced menu and good portions! Will definitely be our go to Resturant from now on!

They have put sign of student discount on everything but when my husband said he is a student and was asked to show totally fair but said you don't look like student! For real! The owner was having two way conversation about customers identity in a very rude manner and loudly to hear for all the other customers. He then went on giving us example of one customer who was really old and pulled out student card and I was like I don't want to hear that I am a student but I didn't brought my student ID so I didn't show mine. We were there for a good meal not for the discount or a rude lecture. He then asked us to have lambshank in the beginning which was basic not a food to put in menu for that kind of restaurant to be honest. It was a horrible experience to get shamed and embarrassed.

Me and my girls had the best time at The Kitchen. The owner and the waitress that served us had the best customer service, they made us feel at home, had the best energy and were extremely welcoming. The food was exquisite and it is the best breakfast I have had in a while. Amazing flavours, breakfast cooked well done and I will definitely be coming again. Plus, the music creates a beautiful aura. Thank you so much

My family come here quite often, mainly for birthdays or special occasions. Always treated so nicely by staff and the owner. Reasonably priced and excellent quality. With plenty of choice to choose from. The coated in breadcrumbs cauliflower is absolute perfection! 👌 Will most definitely be coming back in the future. Thank you

Rather expensive for Sidcup High Street considering you can get the same breakfast for half the price 5mins walk away, but it was nice!

Went for breakfast. Never experienced such a awkwardness in the restaurant. Two ladies working there at the time. Do you pay attention to customers or you think you are too good for the job? Asked twice for a glass of water for both of them never received it. I don't mind paying for it but never received it. Clearly asked for it. Some people want glass of water before their meal or just they want water simple. Where are your minds at... Had to go to the shop to get water after breakfast. Eggs Benedict served with ham.. They cheap out on this one. Some places serve it with crispy bacon or salmon this place simple ham from the supermarket which doesn't justify the price you pay. Suggestion would be pay attention to customers if they ask for water then please bring them water. If you have to pay explain it not ignore it and pretend that you did not hear it.

Great place coped with our group of 20 there fir a coffee morning. Everyone who enjoyed the service and feel of the place. The staff were very accommodating.

Stumbled upon this gem by accident. Needed something quick to eat and a hot drink before heading off to a funeral. Tight on time we were told we could have anything off the menu within about 10 minutes. The staff were just so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. So glad we supported a local business and didn't end up in the chain we had originally been heading to. Will definitely visit again

What a little gem in Sidcup! The owner (Hakim) and staff were wonderful. I ordered a vanilla herbal tea and a fish finger sandwich which also came with great French fries and salad - it was very enjoyable. I will certainly be returning soon 😁

Very good food. Very. Reasonable prices for what you get, nice ambience, friendly staff and Harken the manager is a really likeable guy. It's one of those walk in and feel instantly relaxed places, with the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to hang around for another drink or two. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely friendly place to have a cup coffee and sandwich. The staff are polite and helpful. Always go there when eating out down high street. I reviewed this and mistakenly pressed one star instead five apologies.

The owner and staff here, just want to make customers very welcome, happy and totally satisfied. Food is of a very high standard and served with a smile. Comfortable, airy space and so relaxing. Give it a try ~ you will not be disappointed. In my opinion, it is the best in the High Street.

Amazing place!! I went for some lunch here with my friend and 2 toddlers which I might add are both handfuls. I have never had such a relaxed meal... The waiter made us feel welcome even if the little ones were abit noisy! And even entertained little ones everytime they walked past which they loved. Thank you for a great meal.
