Walked past many times not realising g what a gem of a place on Aldgate High Street. Sat in the garden which makes for a lovely atmosphere, it was just like being abroad on holiday. Food was fantastic and service too. You definitely have to give it a try

Beautiful food, attentive waiter. Not cheap but we felt the price reflected the quality of the food. Lovely experience.

Satyrio experience was just perfect I visited for business dinner, since I am Italian I suggested to my colleague to book at Satyrio and I got to say that every time I visit Italian restaurant in London I always come out disappointed but Satyrio has exceed my expectations The combination of food and wine was just perfect , the service was very accurate and the waiter very knowledgeable. I will definitely visit again with family and friends I can definitely say that we got an authentic Italian restaurant in London Super recommend Satyrio to who want to have a proper Italian food experience

This was always a solid Italian restaurant and one of the best in the city. Today’s service was slow and dismissive and the food was really poor. Orders were wrong (we didn’t say anything as we were pressed for time) and portion sizes were ridiculously small which can be accommodated when the food is brilliant but it was totally average regrettably. Over-priced wine added to this; not sure it’s a restaurant nor a wine merchant anymore!

The worst Italian meal I’ve ever had in London. Had steak, chips and something that was supposed to be spinach. Awful after taste on everything, shocking service, I wouldn’t eat there again if paid to.

I had forgotten that I was disappointed the last time we went here. The portions are small which is not good if you are hungry and I had the duck leg which was very hard so I left most of it. The prices are very high with considerable mark ups on the wine. On the positive side the service is good. Further they are also an off license and have a remarkably good collection of wines that you can buy to take with you and which are, obviously, not at the same mark ups that one would see in the restaurant.

This is a restaurant and a wine shop. It goes without saying that the wines are good but you need to be aware that the costs start from £40. The food itself was OK but nothing special. I went for pasta. The staff were efficient but not particularly welcoming.

Great food and very friendly service however you get severely stung with drinks! £23 for one glass of fairly standard wine is excessive.

Food and service competent, very quiet on the evening I went so not much atmosphere. Small menu I found very over priced - I had one glass of wine and one dish - £55 (inc tips) should have been nearer £30. They are simply not at the level of the prices they charge.

Slightly odd out of the way spot, but that's positive as only those in the know go there. Simply superb. Low key, relaxed but lovely food and wine in relaxed atmosphere.

Visited with my wife in February and from the second we walked in, Andrea and his team made us feel very welcome. Andrea made me a cocktail of his choice to start with a rich Orange liquor which was a lovely aperitif. The food was great, the wine paring was fantastic. Throughout our meal Andrea engaged with us at the right level. After wrapping up the meal with some lovely dessert wines, Andrea convinced us to try some digestifs which just topped off the whole experience. What a great night, highly recommended.

Superb food, and friendly and knowledgeable staff. From the moment we arrived everyone was helpful and the food recommendations were spot on. Initially I thought the portion size looked small, but the fresh pasta and beautifully flavored sauce was rich enough it was just right.

Such a lovely find. Staff were so welcoming and knowledgeable about the food and the wine. This is the first real Italian I have ever had and it was incredible. I usually always season every meal and I didn’t even consider asking for the salt and pepper. Their tomatoes on the bruschetta was unlike anything I have had before. I had the carbonara, done the right way without cream and it was out of this world! Finished off with Tiramisu, which was the best I’ve had! The wine paired with it all was just lovely! Great restaurant!

From the moment we arrived for an evening meal to the moment we left, we were treated with impeccable courtesy. The service is swift, attentive but also friendly and personal. As for the food...we were blown away by the quality of ingredients and inventive recipes. We are regular (fussy!) diners and I would count our meal as one of the best we have had while eating out. Beautiful presentation, textures and flavours. Try the breseola and rocket starter for a perfect example of quality ingredients combined in an imaginative way; equally the peppercorn crumble on pana cotta and stewed fruit was so unusual but strangely perfect. We had three courses (sharing a dessert) plus coffees and thought the bill very reasonable. Wines are superb too. Don't hesitate to book - you will not be disappointed!

We booked a table of 9 for my husband's significant birthday celebration. I made the arrangements from Australia and Simona couldn't have been more helpful. She was also wonderful on the night as were Andrea and Angela - excellent service! The food was delicious including a wonderful birthday cake arranged by the restaurant. There was a lovely ambience and we had a really memorable night. Highly recommended.

I keep coming back to Satyrio because the food, particularly the pasta, is outstanding. It is largely in an office area but we’ll worth a detour, they really deserve more attention and support.
