The best restaurants in Wandsworth Common Wandsworth London

I’d noticed that there is always a steady stream of people at the door of Press Coffee, so finally made the pilgrimage myself - what a lovely spot. Inside is tiny but cozy and they happily let me park a pram at the front while I enjoyed a coffee and a few pages of my book. Delicious coffee and homemade ‘breakfast cookie’ and the two guys working there couldn’t have been friendlier or more accommodating. I’ll definitely be back!

This is one of London’s best kept secrets! This bakery is by far one of the best I’ve been too, the almond pain au chocolates and sourdough bread are a must try. If you are there for lunch they do a soup of the day and one special stew or salad bowl and the ingredients and flavours are of the highest standards. It’s worth the trip from wandworth town station and once you try their pastries you’ll find it hard not to return for more.

Big church like, a barn of a place, beautiful ceilings and mouldings...now a function venue.. Evidently not a function venue so don't try and book a wedding or anything there because it's not a function venue..,whoever's reviewing these reviews needs to calm down a BIT🤦

This is THE local sandwich eatery - classic sandwiches, good quality , generous fillings. They will make anything for you if they can. They can do hot stuff too. The place has a good local following and repeat business in "spades"- always busy.

Great venue, Great staff , Great food .... but lunch was spoilt by really slwo service. Over 3 hours for Sunday Lunch - kids were bored and fed up , which was a real shame as food and staff were fantastic !

Outstanding brunch in a lovely little place on the common. The beans on the breakfast are brilliant! Lovely place with friendly staff and a chilled atmosphere.

The best Indian we have had in Balham / Tooting. The food was great and the service was very good. We would suggest ordering direct rather than Food Apps (deliveroo etc). We’ve tried many other restaurants around the area and this tops it 100%! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for the perfect night in.
