The best Indian we have had in Balham / Tooting. The food was great and the service was very good. We would suggest ordering direct rather than Food Apps (deliveroo etc). We’ve tried many other restaurants around the area and this tops it 100%! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for the perfect night in.

The food is good but when if ever will you get it? Their website no longer recognizes our address (around the corner), I called and was left on hold indefinitely, I used DELIVEROO whose site does work and was promised a meal in 50-60 minutes. After 75 I called, "it is ready and waiting for a driver, 2-3 mins), After 90 same but some exciitment, At 110 I asked Delieroo for a refund which was refused, At 120 it arrived, The food is good but our relationship is over. Too many orders are this haphazard and there are other good choices to be found, I can't deal with the stress and chaos, or I can but I don't want to,.

5 stars earned due to the exceptional service of one waitress in particular! Ritu is always so attentive and friendly, she always makes my night a good one! Would definitely recommend coming here for good drinks and wonderful customer service!

My food eventually arrived... the wrong main. When I rang to query my order I spoke to the most apathetic unapologetic person on the planet. She kindly offered to deliver the correct main free of charge whilst the rest of my meal went cold... (thanks a million !) Shame really as I've been ordering from here for years. They also asked for the incorrect main to be returned ! Absolute piss take ! I appreciate things go wrong occasionally but at least accept responsibility for your ineptitude.

I have now ordered from here 5-6 times and the food is consistently excellent. A bit more expensive than most but the quality of the food just about justifies it. However, the delivery time can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes and calling the restaurant for an update only results in a rude fob-off from someone who enjoys hanging up the phone more than managing customers satisfaction. Even on the one occasion that the order was wrong, they didn’t seem to care at all. Even though the food is very good I’m unlikely to use them again. With so much competition in the Tooting Indian takeaway market, I don’t see the need to support a rude business who doesn’t value repeat business and can’t organise a reliable delivery service.

Ordered online and told 45 min wait. Phoned 1.5 hours later to ask where it was and they had no trace of the order. This is the second time this has happened. Clearly a very disappointed customer and will now no longer be ordering from this restaurant again.

My housemates and I use this takeaway regularly and I’ve always had an above par meal - the food is delicious and good portions, not the cheapest in this area but I’d say good value. The online ordering is a bit ropey and they are very brusque when you call up - but that isn't a reflection of the food that arrives. They do free delivery locally and free popadom and chutney with your order. Usually delivery is within the hour. I’d definitely recommend.

Never try again very disappointed experience. Staff don’t know how to deal with costumer and kitchen was very dirty.

My daughter ordered a meal for four at 7:10 pm - three phone calls later it arrived at 9:15. Food was tepid, the garlic naan was stone cold and to cap it all the poor guy who ate the vegetarian food went down with food poisoning during the night! Quoth the raven "Nevermore"

Ordered delivery from them yesterday. Took nearly 2 hours to arrive and on calling was met with poor service who said it had just been sent out. After an hour and half? Food was average and was disappointed by the service. No apology after calling 4 times. No effort to reimburse. NOT IMPRESSED.

Firstly Tooting Bec is awash with Asian food places so competition is high! We choose this takeaway as recommended and delivery was good (not deliveroo etc). Free poppadoms is good with decent chutney. Sadly though the curry was average. Although the lamb pasander (no 30) was quite tasty in sauce there was a lot of it and not a lot of large chunks of lamb - was like shredded lamb pieces. Naan Bread with it was good. Girlfriend had a chicken curry but also felt it was average with better food elsewhere in the area. Delivery was on time and driver friendly.

I walk past this take-away on a regular basis and the wafts of delicious spices that greet me as I pass are truly inviting. But, I was always of the opinion that really you’re going to get this outside most Indian take-away aren’t you? From many recommendations, and reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, I decided to look past the 4-start hygiene rating and give it a go. Attending here on a Wednesday evening, in rush-hour, I wasn’t hopeful of a short wait, however I was told when I placed my order (of two Chicken Jalfrezi, one large Pilau rice, and one Garlic Naan) that the wait would be 20 minutes. Great! I took a seat and peered over the counter watching them prep the meal. I must admit, I waited little longer than 15 minutes, it certainly wasn’t 20 minutes so top marks from me for that. The guy behind the counter even took it upon himself to engage in conversation with me, which I thought was nice. I do believe that they will let you know when your meal is ready if you situate yourself next door (ish) at the local bar, which I think is a nice touch. All in all then, this place is certainly somewhere I would visit again, the meal was delicious and reasonably cheap too (£25.00 all in, with complimentary poppadum’s) so if you’re reading this contemplating a decent authentic Indian takeaway in the Tooting area, then give it a go! Esta es mi tercera visita a la Cardomon Club y, como en anteriores visitas, la comida ha sido excelente. El personal es muy amable y, con la cocina totalmente abierta, puede ver preparan su comida. Puedes esperar o pop al lado para un gin tonic, de madrugada o lo que prefieras, en el bar durbah (espero que me dieron el nombre). De todos modos la comida aquí es excelente y muy generoso en porciones, así que ten cuidado cuánto orden, diciendo que es genial el día siguiente si dejas algo. Un hotel de primera clase de la India, muy recomendable.

The food was mediocre at best - we waited 2 hours for the food to be delivered. Rang them 4 times, each time they told us it would be 5 minutes. Absolute shambles and no offers of any kind of compensation for average Luke warm food.

I live very near the Cardamom Club (CC) and really like curry. There's plenty of choice in this neighbourhood. The CC is a clear favourite on the basis of their food. They only do takeaway and we have it quite often. The Prawn Bhuna is just excellent (and I'd never choose that dish anywhere else). The Korma is rather too sweet and bland for me but the children eat it happily enough. Their curry is sensibly spicy and wonderful flavoursome. The quality and quantity of the expensive ingredients such as prawns or meat is good and commensurate with the slightly higher prices they charge. They have a few novel dishes that I have not come across elsewhere such as cabbage and peas - we tried this on a whim and it is delicious, we always have it now. The problem that they seem to have too often is that the deliveries are very late. They are polite and apologetic about it but I reckon at least half of the deliveries are well over an hour, Wednesday night it was nearly 90 minutes. Knowing this I have tried to order two hours in advance but it was still late and this is very irritating.

Last time I ordered I waited over an hour for it. They forgot about it, then lied about it. This time I ordered and it tasted like they made it last week. Absolutely horrible! We ordered a lot and all of it was terrible. Soo salty. Peshwari naan was absolutely revolting.. was like a thick mush inside. Onion bhagi was like a block of hard grissel.Cardamon Club, if you cant provide a good service and decent well cooked food, you should really stop operating.what a waste of money.

I have ordered 4 times from here-twice is has taken almost two hours to deliver and the orders have been wrong-no apology and they don't seem to care.Nice food but don't bother

Esta llevar es muy bonito, un poco más caro que otros de la zona, pero merece la pena. Hemos estado allí un par de veces y nunca me ha decepcionado por la comida. El servicio en sí no es siempre bien, ya que hay muchos pedidos de comida para llevar y no parecen adaptarse muy bien con el volumen.

Cuando nuestro típico indio mogollón tibia y por debajo del nivel que pensamos probar algo diferente, y estoy encantado de haber hecho. Cardamomo Club ha sido nuestro favorito firme para llevar por los últimos 3 meses y como una pareja que toma su comida india seriamente que no olvidáramos maneras en cualquier momento pronto. sitio fantástico con un menú amplio, fácil sistema de orden y se puede pagar con tarjeta. Una vez que me olvidé de lo que pedí antes, así que llamé para ver si se podían encontrar mis detalles y con mi código postal y el apellido era todo muy sencillo. La entrega está siempre alrededor de 50 minutos, pero vale la pena totalmente, en nuestra opinión. Malabar pollo es cremosa y deliciosa, mientras que el Masala pollo se puede resumir como el sabor. El pollo es siempre una gran calidad y el naan siempre son pastoso y deliciosa. Algunos de nuestros amigos CC han descrito como un poco de una versión de estupendo yuppy de las otras takeouts indios en lo intentaría pero la verdad es que sólo pueden salir lo mucho que disfrutar de la comida.

This is just a review of the takeaway food.Once you find a good curry house it is best to stick with it. It took us a while but we found the Cardamon Club and have remained loyal ever since. Our issues with other takeaways generally revolved around other people's curries being too sweet, or the naan bread not being very good, or indeed inadequate raita/mango/lime chutney. We have found none of the above issues here.Everyone's tastes are different, if you haven't tried here I definitely would recommend it.

Really really nice. Tasted quite complex (without sounding like a ponce) and was really well cooked/seasoned. Will defo use again. Not sure what moody pants was saying below, I thought it was excellent and would happily recommend to my chums

Great friendly service and some really tasty dishes. It is at the higher end of the pricing scale for takeaways hence 4 stars rather than 5. The peshwari naan is really good!

The curry was insipid you would find better curry sauces in the supermarket, the chicken didn't seem cooked properly and the coconut lassi tasted like watered down milk. I will never go back!If you want a good curry in Tooting, rather take a walk down the high street for 5 minutes and let your nose guide to something 100 times better.
