We visited The Olive in January, having been in previous years and had delicious food. However this time, the experience was not great. A cold draft towards the back wall of the restaurant, even though we sat next to a heater. The starters were great. For the main, the side salads were nice, but the lamb and chicken thigh and breast kebabs were overcooked and rubbery to chew. The fresh mint tea was clearly made with unwashed mint leaves, as there was a visible layer of dirt like debris at the bottom of the cup. The restaurant offered a replacement, which we declined, but still did not take it off the bill. Overall not a good experience.

A cozy spot with a warm ambiance, perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. The Mocha was rich and smooth, and the homemade crisps was delicious. Friendly staff and quick service made the experience even better. Highly recommend for a chill hangout! HMC verified As well. ✅️

This shop is part of the history in Leyton and serves up a good well priced cod and chips. I always purchase the special which comes with two cods for £6. The staff are friendly avoid late evening on Friday as you will be waiting a while . Excellent food

Wanted to come here for a while as love tapas and it was worth it. Ordered a selection of dishes which were all very good and of a good size. Particularly enjoyed the prawns and the meatballs. Only two serving staff that we could see who were both lovely and helpful with what and how much to order. Also ordered a jug of sangria which was very tasty. Only slight let down were the cocktails which were a bit weak Will definitely be returning and recommend to others to try this place soon

Most of the things I asked for on the menu, they didn't have, so ended up with jollof rice and fried plantain - which was ok, nothing special. Gulder was overpriced at £8/bottle and, unfortunately, Id sat in the back section which had an overwhelming smell of bad drains from the toilet - overall, not a great experience.

We love popping in for a cheeky smoothie when the sun is out or a filling lunch after a tough gym session. The outdoor seating is perfect for those warm days and the interior is cosy, inviting, and incredibly stylish. The vibe is warm and welcoming and the staff members always have a smile on their faces. The portions are generous so you will never leave hungry. I highly recommend the vegan bowl for all plant-based eaters — lovely variety of fresh ingredients, and the smoothies are always top notch! Ideal for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy dinner here!
