The best restaurants in Mile End and Globe Town Tower Hamlets London

Muchas cosas son buenas aquí, pero hay un problema abrumador que arruinó nuestro almuerzo. ¡ES DEMASIADO RUIDOSO! Vale a todos nos gusta un buen ambiente, pero hay demasiadas portadas, estás tan cerca de la mesa de al lado, el personal lo empeora gritando a los comensales, nos costó tener una conversación. La comida era buena, no hay problemas allí. Ciertamente no voy a volver, lo cual es una pena porque el restaurante ha estado aquí en la parte superior de la moderna calle Lambs Conduit durante mucho tiempo.

🚇 Bethnal Green 🍺 £7.10 Rothaus Pils Tucked away on Globe Road in Bethnal Green, you’ll find The Florist Arms. The nearest Tube is Bethnal Green on the Central Line. This pub was built in 1871 and was once a Watney Combe Reid house. The pub still has the Watney’s trademark roundel with stag motif on the side of the building and also some beautiful brown glazed tiles. The pub’s name refers to the former local culture of competitive flower growing introduced by the Huguenots. The Huguenots emigrated to London from France between the 16th-18th centuries. This is cosy one bar pub that is traditionally decorated with some eclectic and contemporary touches. At the centre of the pub is wooden panelled servery with the bar forming a ‘U’ shape around it. The decor consists of a bare boarded floor, a mix of different seating and lighting, red and black flowery wallpaper and some very cool artworks. This independent pub has an excellent selection of beers that included some local London brews and one cask ale. I decided on a Rothaus Pils, my pint was superb, price point was above average. The food option here is Pizza, there are 9 pizzas to choose from, a Margherita costs £10. We arrived just before 2pm on an overcast Saturday afternoon in January. The atmosphere was chilled and relaxed with a few other punters in attendance. The service was great, the team member who served us was upbeat, chatty and courteous. This is my second visit to this backstreet local, the first time was a lively packed evening affair, this time was a chilled pub experience, I thoroughly enjoyed both visits equally the same. Cafe is positioned well within the museum, and it's kept fairly clean. The coffee isn't good, though, and neither are the cakes. Everything is overpriced. They serve on chipped plates.

Este restaurante es imprescindible si estás en Bethnal Green o el este de Londres. Realmente es una pequeña joya escondida que es tan diferente de la zona. A menudo comer aquí porque me encanta el ambiente en el interior. Desde el interior se siente como en Italia desde el interior y la familia un cordial servicio de atención al cliente. He leído comentarios sobre los precios caros pero como 25 años con poco ingresos me pareció que los precios en consonancia con los precios de Londres. 10 libras por un plato principal, que incluye las patatas y verduras a un lado y las porciones son muy generosas. Quizás es sólo yo ? Pero preferiría dar 10 libras para mantener un negocio de familia viva que £15 a un restaurante de cadena, que casi no necesita ayuda para sobrevivir. De todos modos, es romántico ya que a menudo comer aquí con mi novio y le gusta las opciones de carne en el menú. He comido la comida vegetariana y opciones de pescado y ambos eran extremadamente sabroso.

Personally, I regret spending my money here Got 1x americano and an avocado toast for £10.15. I’m a local & I love a good coffee & avo-toast. The coffee was cheap, the avo-toast were cut really thinly and didn’t taste that nice either. After I left I went to get extra food elsewhere as I was still hungry… on top of that the service & atmosphere wasn’t that friendly. So not sure why I’d come here again. Better to add in £5.00 extra go down the road on Bethnal Green Road and get a proper breakfast and a good quality coffee in a nice, friendly atmosphere for a few quid extra. Maybe it was just not my place, maybe it was a bad, busy day for everyone, maybe it’s being on the brick of an economic crisis. Still, not coming back again.

Had high hopes for this place. Oddly they only sell their own fruit fizzy drinks so no Coca Cola, sprite, etc that was a huge put off not having your fav cold proper fizzy drink to wash it all down!! Reminds me of Five guys poor cousin. They say free topping but they are not passable. Could hardly identify the grilled mushroom, and fried onion it was a complete caramelised mush under the bun. Plus they are passing off fresh cucumber as advertised on their menu board as pickle when it hasn’t been pickled. When someone says pickle as a topping on a burger I will assume it’s a gherkin so seeing sliced fresh cucumber under my bun was poor effort and they have no jalapeños but advertised it as a free topping. Overall package is disappointing good effort with the beef patty and bun but for £8 for a single burger with poor offering of toppings and bland warm chips that are sat around to get cold while one person is serving and flipping burgers and a weird selection of non identifiable drinks £11 is not good value. Won’t be going back

The person working on the till his Asian Looked like he was high really rude towards taking our Oder All so the food we received it was cold and the chips was soggy taste less 😑

Some of the best authentic Chinese food in East London. Northern Chinese specialities, including chuan'r (skewered meat). Plus classic westernised Chinese food. All really really good. Reasonably priced for London.

Another halal Mexican restaurant owned by asians, as usual the food does not taste Mexican, average decor & service.

I tried Sweet Eden today. Really impressed. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Friendly staff. Excellent service. My crepe was delicious and presentation really lovely.
