Chiringuito in Tower Hamlets

Personally, I regret spending my money here Got 1x americano and an avocado toast for £10.15. I’m a local & I love a good coffee & avo-toast. The coffee was cheap, the avo-toast were cut really thinly and didn’t taste that nice either. After I left I went to get extra food elsewhere as I was still hungry… on top of that the service & atmosphere wasn’t that friendly. So not sure why I’d come here again. Better to add in £5.00 extra go down the road on Bethnal Green Road and get a proper breakfast and a good quality coffee in a nice, friendly atmosphere for a few quid extra. Maybe it was just not my place, maybe it was a bad, busy day for everyone, maybe it’s being on the brick of an economic crisis. Still, not coming back again.

Food was ok. But they charged 11.50 for a tuna bagel, bottle of water and service. Absolutely overpriced as someone else in our party had a tuna bagel and tea for 6.75. They refused to pay service charge. When challenged they didn’t want to know. Check your bill before you pay.

My daughters wedding was held at this venue and the service and food was amazing. It was a beautiful summers day and eating on the terrace and reception upstairs was just magical. The staff were so good it was brilliant.

I recently hosted my birthday celebration here, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The drinks were good, and my guests enjoyed the variety of options. However, although Andrea was very helpful in rectifying this; there is room for improvement in terms of the organisation prior to the event. Despite this, it was still a great gathering, and I would return in the future.

A cafe that charges you 12.5 % service charge even though there is no table service..total rip off. Never go again. Also you pay 10p extra for milk in an Americano. What sort of place does this?

Style over substance! Expensive and pretentious; sadly, typical of many places in London. Our group ordered a beef sandwich and beef bagel. Beef was so tough as to be inedible. Also saw other customers leave (lots of) food. Burrata was nothing special and just about passable given the 'supermarket' tomatoes. Had to serve ourselves and service was generally poor as there was only one member of staff. Why did I bother?

Booked this venue for my birthday party and they shut the party down 4 hours early for absolutely no reason. Absolutely horrible staff who were rude and creepy all night! Awful night at an awful place would 100% not recommend!

I hired this venue for a private party for my 50th birthday. From making initial contact, booking to actual party itself was smooth well planned, and everything I asked for was catered for and the staff on the evening could not have done more to make my celebration special. My friends and family had a fabulous time and they loved the venue as I did. I would definitely recommend this place and I would have further celebrations here:

I went with some friends for lunch on a Saturday. The menu was mostly brunch/eggs and I would’ve preferred tapas dishes. The food was delicious though. The pancakes were great. The eggs royale were fantastic. The service was a bit slow and everyone’s food came out apart from one person who had to wait 10 minutes without any food. The location is good and the seats out the back are nice and there’s a ping pong table. The roof bar looks nice too.

Hired the rooftop bar for my birthday and it was a great spot. It felt very private and special and loved the option of having the roof open for a few hours while the sun went down. Great space for a celebration, and appreciated the late license meaning we could dance until 2am! Thanks to Alex and the team.

Was finding it difficult to find a restaurant/bar that gave off a calm and vibrant atmosphere close to the city centre that also is within a decent budget, until I cam across Chriniguito. This place literally ticked all my boxes. Beach bar brought to the busy city of london? sign me up. The staff, the food, the atmosphere, location and prices were all 10/10. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I've celebrated multiple birthdays here and the staff is always extremely welcoming and helpful. The food and the cocktails are delicious, the location inside and outside is gorgeous. Always love taking people here, no matter what the occasion.

Although it is close to the tube station, the bar was far too small and crowded. As well as that, the drinks menu seemed to be rather limited and as a result far too expensive.

Superb breakfast! Serving Spanish ham as well as bacon was a masterstroke, and it was possibly the best two slices of toast I've ever eaten. Very classy!
