Fabulous meal, authentic and delicious meal enjoyed by all of us. Restaurant is well located , just up from great Ormonde St Hospital and much better than any of the restaurants in the west end. 15 mins to the theatre , would book again. Thank you.

Service is ok. Food unfortunately feels more like American Italian than traditional Italian food. Ok overall.

The food is ok, but portions are very small. I would love to go more times but the price is very expensive for bethnal green. There's no set menu, no lunch menu and no offers to motivate customers to come back more often.

Sehr schönes Restaurant, guter Service und saubere Toilette. Hatten eine großzügige Vorspeise, zwei Hauptgerichte und paar Schnäpse. Gibt nichts zu meckern und für London Verhältnisse sehr preiswert.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal da und sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr lecker und seinen Preis wert. Heute war unser letzter Abend in London und dieser wurde dadurch super abgerundet :)

The food was good, service was great, friendly staff. The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere. the location of the restaurant is less suitable due to the construction of the surrounding buildings. But the food and the staff really make up of it! definitely recommended.

Nice setting and the staff were polite and friendly, but the food was way off the mark, unfortunately. Caprese salad had dried herbs not fresh. The mussels were tasteless, and i don't think they were cooked properly. The mussels would tear in half when opened and were stuck to the inside of the shell. Mussels should't do that. It also said on the menu that it would come with baby potatoes and seasonal veg, which it didn't. It came with only 2 tiny morsals of bread. The vegetable pizza, which the menu said had marinated grilled vegetables, was just topped with some finally chopped green pepper, raw onion, and a few tiny, scraggly mushrooms. I left feeling quite cheated. I can't believe how bad the food was given all the positive reviews and ratings here.

This is a wonderful Italian. I've been taking a pretty large group here monthly for the last couple of years and the restaurant staff have always been fantastic. A great menu, suiting all tastes and a great atmosphere, decor and food. Great view of the canal too. Highly recommended!!

Is one of my favourites Italian restaurant next to the canal in London, the service is excellent and the owner is so polite and friendly, the ambience is so warm and calm that I wanted to stay there all night with my partner having a nice wine. The food is a 10 really fresh and tasty and everything is made with love. We will definitely come back. Big thanks from your Spanish friends.:)

Sehr schönes, italienisches Restaurant, mit viel Auswahl. Die Location ist sehr schön und traditionell italienisch. Haben Penne Arrabiatta und Ravioli Funghi bestellt. Als Vorspeise gab es Bruschetta. Alles sehr lecker und preislich top. Super Service. Man fühlt sich sehr aufgehoben in dem Restaurant. Das beste Italienische Restaurant in London! Sehr empfehlenswert!

my family and I came here for a birthday not expecting much, however we were pleasantly surprised. The food was well beyond my expectations and the quality was amazing. Great choice of authentic Italian dishes. the atmosphere was gorgeous surrounding a canal, and the staff were friendly and approachable, very good with kids. Will definitely be coming here again and highly recommend!!

Distinctly average food and below average portion sizes. A potato dish arrived with only one very small potato and was then substituted with a bowl of fries as we were told that the chef was a lazy B******d. We asked for the service charge to be removed, which they did under protest and swearing under their breath. Will not be returning as I've had much better experiences in elsewhere.

Great location, overlooking the canal, we had pizzas and salad-very tasty. Cocktails were delicious, bit pricy but tou can understand why. Overall I would say a hidden gem.

Food took a real long time to arrive. Lasagna was like Shepard's pie, mush, yuck, don't bother with that. Pizza & other pasta dishes were reasonable. Not a happy experience

I now tried it for the second time,first time I tried the lasagna and second time the ravioli..it is ok,but when you think you make a better pasta at home,it will not really tempt you to come again or recommend this place for eating for anybody... unfortunately. But for a drink or coffee by the canal it could be a nice spot to stop by if you are in the area. With a terrace overlooking the canal.

Outside seating is so good, nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same thing for food.

Stopped by on a summers afternoon for some drinks and food. Fresh salad and a great location sat outside on the deck overlooking the canal. Would visit regularly.

Celebrated my birthday here and it was beautiful. I organized two weeks or so before with the managers of the restaurant. They were very helpful throughout. We planned a menu together considering all dietary regulations for 28 people. We had amazing food- all the appetizers and pastas and pizzas👌 everyone enjoyed the atmosphere. We had even a chance to play our own music. If you are looking for great food and great atmosphere that makes you feel like out of London, this is the spot.

TERRIBLE! worst restaurant I’ve been to in a long time the service was appalling waited over 20 minutes to even order a drink just left us sitting there when they clearly wasn’t doing anything even then didn’t bring the correct ones (added drinks to the bill that hadn’t even arrived that we ordered )and when they did £13 for a cocktail the size of a small can of coke is unbelievable never experienced something like it ! fair enough if it was busy but it was not at all food seemed very rushed and not at a standard that everyone else in the reviews have said got my daughters order wrong so had to wait even longer for that when maybe if they had actually listened and not seemed so careless little mistakes would have not be made! Quite gutted as we was very excited and hoping this was going to be a local for us :( First and last time

Our waiter Milan could not have been more accommodating towards my dietary needs, bringing me vinegar and water as I requested before meals. He was so friendly and made me feel like I’m eating own mammas kitchen! The food was great! Will definitely be back! Thank you!

Only good for pizzas. Stay away from antipasti as it doesn't look fresh at all. We tried the beef carpaccio but the colour of the meat was far from ideal, with a brownish look, which means it's not fresh. Same for the charcuterie. Extremely expensive for the experience.

The atmosphere is a bit funky as the entrance has all the markings of a pizza take out, but get past that and the service and the food were both the best we've found in an Italian restaurant for some time. They had fresh octopus as a starter and we shared one. It was incredible. The fresh pasta was also very good. We skipped the pizza, but would try it next visit.

Been coming to Ciao Bella regularly for the past 2 years. Service is always consistent. Friendly, professional and welcoming staff. Tried the new menu introduced w/c 22nd May and the new chef is next level! The octopus, lamb chop, beef ribs, mash potato, grilled chicken and omg even the veggies are top notch! New cocktails too! Big thank you and well done to the team ♥️

I went here with my family for my graduation - the carbonara was the best I’ve ever had, the guy seemed authentically Italian (a good thing!) and extremely friendly without being weird, the atmosphere was perfect, and all for an amazing price - they have a broad range of great dishes from affordable to more valuable. Very impressed! I will recommend it to all my friends :)

Unexceptional in everyway, no depth of flavour to any dish - felt like some ingredients we’re not fresh, basic service, ok decoration with little character or ambiance to redeem the place. Felt like we’d wasted our money. Not sure why this place has the ratings it has but personally I don’t think we’d ever go again.

Just had the best penne arrabbiata this side of Rome. Service was absolutely great too. Highly recommend
