Ristorante con cucina italiana...abbiamo preso bruschette con verdure molto buone sia le verdure che il prosciutto...... tagliata con verdure direi ottima ....buona scelta di vini, pollo alla figa.... non male.... do 4 stelle perché il locale è un po triste... l'apparecchiatura al tavolo minimale, nemmeno una tovaglietta...personale cordiale...

We had dinner here on Saturday August 17. The weather was nice and we were able to sit on the terrace. Helped neatly and quickly and questions were answered clearly, with some humor which gave a more personal feeling. As a starter we had a garlic pizza and bruschetta to share. Main courses were spaghetti, pizza calzone and a pizza with salami. Although we were satisfied, we couldn't resist tiramisu and crème brûlée. Delicious food, and definitely recommended to go to when you are in the area.

Best Garlic Bread I've ever had! Swordfish was excellent too!!! UNBELIEVABLE!! Very good, Very Nice, Very Good, Very Nice!!! Espresso Martini was Banging!!!

Amazing food! We’ve came to this restaurant 3rd time now and every food that we’ve tried was super good! Steak normally elsewhere if it’s well done is dry, this was so soft and juicy! Staff is very friendly and professional. 5⭐️ place!!!

We used to come here a lot when we lived at Limehouse. Haven't been for 10 or so years, as we now live in Australia, but it was still fantastic. The Bruschetta is amazing. The menu is so vast it's really hard to decide what to order when you know it's all going to be so tasty.

Probably one of the best Italian places in London. Portions will never leave you hungry, food is more than delicious and the service is great. Been there a couple of times, and will come back many more.

Very friendly and polite staff. The location and environment of the restaurant is good. Food seems authentic. The garlic pizza with tomato🍕 is my favourite for this visit. Will come back and try some other dishes from their menu.

Delicious, large pizzas and tasty pasta.

As always, fantastic local pizza priced reasonably. The team at La Figa is always very welcoming, especially Angelo and Zehra who have big hearts and make sure you are well looked after. The place has a classic retro feel and a great bar as well.

First time back in many years, food was ok but it really needs a revamp

Good Italian restaurant in Limehouse, 50m from the Thames. Good and excellent food, perhaps something hidden from the path of tourism. Highly recommended, and relatively inexpensive.

The food was great/delicious. Reasonable prices and the waitress was lovely; very attentive and looked after us.

The best pasta I have ever had. The staff were lovely and one gentleman kept asking us general knowledge questions which definitely got us thinking. Such a hidden gem, would 100% recommend.

Terrible service and missing item

I had the most delightful experience at this authentic Italian pizzeria in London. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by our server,, whose genuine Italian hospitality made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was cozy and reminiscent of a traditional Italian trattoria. The pizza was absolutely incrediblec, thin crust with the perfect balance of toppings. We tried the Margherita and la reine, both of which were bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, truly capturing the essence of Italian cuisine. I recommend the raviolis too. The service was exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, and provided great recommendations on both the menu. Her passion for the food and culture added a special touch to our meal. Overall, this pizzeria offers a true taste of Italy in the heart of London. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an authentic Italian dining experience!

Unreal! Absolutely horrendous! Never tasted food like it! In my 37 years of living, I can’t express how bad this was! I have never in my life complained if food wasn’t nice or not to my taste and just paid the bill knowing not to return, but I had to express this here. When I did at each course, I was then spoken about amongst the servers 3/4 times overly loud. They didn’t even have the courtesy to hide the fact that they were talking about table 3 and that they don’t like this or that. GOBSMACKED! One server said “ this isn’t LA it’s the UK” I am from east London and I told her as such! We have a home it Italy and we know real Italian food! I’m guessing the reason they aren’t in their home town cooking their Italian food is because they would have been disowned. AVOID AVOID AVOID! Funnily enough they only charged us for wine and gave us free shots!

Whenever I'm in the area, La Figa is my go to restaurant. Never had a bad meal here and in fact the quality, flavours and variety are all excellent. Genuine Italian family run, this is a place not to be missed.

Nice location, good food and good service

Soooo disappointing. The service was good …attentive and friendly. The food was awful. Our starter to share was fried calamari which was tasty but obviously not fresh - frozen/microwave? Our mains were large portions and the salad and veg were fresh and tasty but the lobster was initially the wrong dish as it came with spaghetti which wasn’t the correct order. They replaced it with the correct lobster dish but the lobster was tough and unpleasant and the prawns were drowned in garlic butter. The monkfish dish was overcooked and drowned in a tomato sauce. They offered us a free shot which was nice of them but the quality of the food was not value for money in any way!!!! I certainly wouldn’t return.

This is a lovely place. I'm so pleased we found it. We'd had a really nice walk along the Thames and fancied stopping for something and this wonderful establishment appeared. It's worth seeking out, pizzas were absolutely authentic of an Italian restaurant. Staff very kind, beer very cold.

My favourite local spot for pizza! Pizza comes in a large size but never disappoints. Tiramisu is also great - almost like a little trip to Italy

Amazing lasagna, we were a party of 8 and all of us were happy with our food. The beer glasses are chilled which is great and they don’t save on the parmesan cheese which is also great.

We came here for a late dinner after a long day of being typical London tourists and what a wonderful way to cap off our day. My wife got the pasta bolognese. It was expertly cooked with rich, savory flavors, easily the best bolognese we’ve encountered in our travels. I ordered the gnocchi alla sorentina and I was not disappointed. It was perfectly cooked and well worth savoring. For dessert, we got the tiramisu because of course we did. It was perfect. The service was excellent. As touring Americans we are largely clueless about how things work; the staff were gracious and kind without being obsequious. We were not rushed in any way during our dining experience; the staff clearly wanted us to savor and enjoy the food. I would 100% recommend this restaurant, and if we were ever to find ourselves in the vicinity again, I would definitely go back. If you want a delicious Italian meal in the Limehouse area, look no further.

Rich in Italian culture and food, the staff are as italian as you can be. The ambience was lovely, it's suitable for group or couples' dine out.

Last visited La Figa in December 2019 and gave it a five star review. Unfortunately I did not find it as good this time. The ravioli was very bland with no flavour at all. The wine list is small and very expensive for what it is. The service was good. It has the elements of a good neighbourhood restaurant but only if the prices are bit lower.

How on Earth these people were allowed a name like that I will never know….🤮

We have been to this restaurant a few times over the last 15 years as our friends lived nearby. Now our daughter lives in Limehouse, so for her birthday dinner, she booked this restaurant. We were booked early - 7pm & arrived on time. We asked for a table near the window which initially seemed an issue as they had only opened some tables. However we insisted & we were sat at a window table - what restaurant doesn’t want a window front with diners, subliminally encouraging others in as it looks popular? The service was quick & drinks arrived quickly. Our daughter enjoyed a strawberry daiquiri & the house white was good. For starter we chose to share a bruschetta with tomatoes & Parma ham- enough for 3. We were all happy with our mains. I chose the seafood linguine and there was an abundance of seafood & the portion was generous. Would we come here again - yes we would.

An absolutely incredible Italian restaurant. A huge selection of amazing food, great service and a nice vibe. It’s a bit of a secret. The decor is quite “modern Italian” but don’t let that put you off, this is one of the best restaurants in London. I have been here multiple times and each time tried something else that is fantastic. The courgette soup, sadly not often on the menu, is truly sensational.

Chanced our arm in here the night before the London Marathon. They were fully booked but said we could eat at the bar. Ordered a Margherita pizza. It was absolutely lovely. Friendly staff, amazing pizza and very well priced. Definitely going back next time I am down this way

Have been coming here for 20 + years and the food, service, and atmosphere are all amazing. Without doubt honestly the best restaurant in the area. Also be warned that the portion sizes are on the large size..... highly highly recommend

La Figa is our favourite Italian restaurant in this area. The food is great no matter what you like. Pasta, Pizza, seafood everything is delicious. Service is always brilliant. The fact that you always see the same staff there gives you the impression that people like to work there. And the fact that we always come back tells you that they must do things right.

Fantastic food in a superbly located restaurant! A shame I took the photo after cutting into my Calzone, as the photo doesn't do it justice...but one of the best Calzone's I've ever had!!! Willd definitely return when I'm in the area again! Very reasonably priced too.

Very friendly restaurant. We went there during the week at the end of the evening and it was quiet. The dishes are good, the service is fast, the staff is very friendly. I recommend 🙂

The food was very tasty and the staff was really friendly. The atmosphere was also very cozy and overall it was a great experience. We've eaten here twice because it's so good.

I consider myself to be a bit of a Calzone connoisseur, but I was absolutely blown away by the biggest and best Calzone I've ever had tonight! My work colleague also had a superb pizza which he also enjoyed. Fantastic food, in a great location, with fantastic service! Congratulations La Figa, I will be back!

Really nice food although the veg with the lamb was dry from an heat lamp. the waiters were amazing, very kind and cheerful that atmosphere was just missing some quiet music

I went here once for lunch and once I ordered a takeaway. Being there in person, the food was much better. I had pasta, cake, coffee.. all perfect, quick and friendly service! The restaurant was empty during Friday lunchtime though so I would expect service to be quick! All in all perfect! Takeaway could be better and warmer!

After an unplanned 3.5 hrs in a car & no end in sight to our journey, a pit stop was urgently required.. thankfully we found La Figa & had the best Italian food ever! We would go out of our way to come here again..

Delicious Italian food, funny name and friendly staff :)

I came here with my family who are visiting from London. We were greeted by very friendly staff. The food was ready very quickly, even though the restaurant was quite busy and was very tasty. Also very reasonable price wise. Milana (I hope this is how I spell her name) was absolutely fantastic and we had great laughs with her. Would highly recommend the gnocchi!! Overall an amazing evening, would highly recommend.

La Figa never fails! We came for late lunch (open all day) and were served two tasty and enormous pizzas. Our waiter, Melina was so cool and had just the right amount of attention to us. Best Limehouse-local restaurant for sure - we will come back again and again and again…. 🙏🏽

Saturday lunchtime birthday celebration for my son with his wife and 2 young daughters. The staff are lovely, welcoming and helpful, suggesting different dishes to those on the menu and so accommodating. They are genuinely pleased to have little ones in their restaurant. The food was delicious, we shared a selection of starters the whitebait was gorgeous, the bruschetta lovely and fresh but the prawns were not quite what I expected, nice enough but not wow. Our main courses were wonderful. The shellfish linguine one with tomato and one with a garlic sauce were delicious the pizzas were brilliant and the tuna steak with its sauce super. Lovely Chianti and super coffees and ice cream. We couldn’t have asked for more, highly recommended.

Booked for New Year’s Eve and what a disappointed. Food terrible and very poor quality for the money. Only 13 people in the whole restaurant. Even when we complained we was not offered any explanation or apology. After visiting this restaurant since it has opened I would never return.

The food is disgusting so overcooked and the sausage is very poor quality. The starter is extremely salty and the pasta is bland but super garlicky. It’s going to the bin honestly. So disappointing yet again. I gave the benefit of the doubt after the first experience but it’s just bad always it seems. Such a pity

Had a great lunch at La Figa, lovely people and food House wine was very good. Restaurant has a real vibe and works as a wine/cocktail bar. A fun & good value lunch.

We came in for lunch around New year and was really good fresh food! The scallop linguine was particularly good and amazing thin crust pizzas. Feels very authentic and good quality. Staff were very friendly.

Superfriendly people. We only had a drink while we were walking and needed a refreshment. The place is a little bit old and looks kind of shabby, but people are very friendly and drinks were good. Couldn't say about the food, we didn't stay for that.

Waaay too much garlic!!! To the point where it was overpowering even the chilli. The gamberi (prawns) tasted so salty it was inedible, while the rest of the sauce was salted too little. Most of the mussels hadn’t fully opened. So disappointed by a dish which is normally simple and extremely tasty without the need of much spice.

Romantic meal myself and my wife, we always visit when we are in London and as always fabulous food and service with good size portions

Don’t know if you people are thick, or plain ignorant and lazy. Asked you for such a basic thing and you can’t even do that. Can’t give me a penne instead of spaghetti because you only work with frozen meals. Such a basic task. Vile food , freezing. I laugh at the fact you call this Italian

It pains me to give La Figa a 1 star as we have been coming years but tonight was such a horrific experience. I called and reserved a table for 4 people when we arrived the tables had not even been put out as they are having new AC installed. The restaurant was cold. My mother in law kept her coat on through out the whole meal. The food came my children started getting upset that they were cold. I asked the waitress if she had a portable electric heater she said no that the AC was on 34 I explained it’s blowing out cold air the children are cold the food is getting cold. She asked to move us but everywhere was just cold. I told her why she had not informed me on the phone that they were doing renovations? Had I known we would have gone elsewhere! To spend all that money and not enjoy our food is really disappointing. I still feel cold now and it’s been hours since we left there.

Portion too big for me, I had mushroom risotto. My advice to make smaller portion and add side salad.

Really good food at a reasonable price, in my opinion. Angelo was warm and friendly, chatting to our kids and setting them riddles to solve and brought out a delicious slice of "grandmother's cake" and sang Happy Birthday when he found out it was my birthday. Sure it's not all corporate hospitality and brand awareness but overall a lovely meal out.

Had a wonderful 50th birthday at La Figa, service was great, food fantastic and good portion size. It made our family celebration a great success
