Excellent food However they only serve full menu on weekends which is a shame. Music inside is great Nice staff

On a visit from the North to see friends we stumbled across this little gem. On a sunny Friday afternoon the vibe was chilled as they had a live jazz ensemble playing. The cocktails were amazing and as happy hour was 6-7 and two cocktails for 12 pounds we were in our element. Well worth a visit if just for coffee and pastries in a morning or a cocktail in the evening with some live music. They also had lovely throws if you were feeling a bit chilly. Will definitely be back.

Lovely local restaurant serving delicious food! We stumbled across this newly opened restaurant when visiting London at the end of October and were very pleased with the helpful, attentive service and the decor. Well worth a visit to try some tasty and well priced food and support a new local business!

Tienen una oferta donde se obtiene un café gratis cuando usted compra 2 artículos y todo ya es increíblemente razonable precio! Recomiendo encarecidamente si estás en la zona y quieres comida y café de calidad increíble sin tener que romper el banco.

I loved the food so much the chicken wings were full of flavour the vegetables that I order where nice and the pho was good I liked adding all the additional things to it including chilli from the wings

Best place around the south bank to get a pint. Unbelievable service (Sebastian is the best bar runner in London), fantastic selection of drinks and lovely atmosphere.

Food is delicious and the staff are great, professional very friendly. Absolutely perfect for a hungover breakfast. Highly recommend.

🚇 Queens Road Peckham 🍺 £4.50 Fosters The Lord Nelson is located halfway down the Old Kent Road on the border between Bermondsey and Peckham. There are not many stations close by, I got the Overground to Queens Road Peckham, it’s a twenty minute walk to get here. This pub dates from the early 19th century and is Grade II listed. It is now only one of two pubs left on the Old Kent Road, this once great drinking thoroughfare used to have 39 pubs. The interior of this pub is just magnificent, so much so that CAMRA have said it is an interior of outstanding national historic importance. The servery is located on the right hand side of the main bar and has a stunning detailed structure above. Another impressive feature of this pub are the spectacular Victorian gilded mirrors, one of which captures Lord Nelson at the battle of Cape Vincent in 1797. There is plenty of seating throughout including stools around the bar. There are two pool tables, a dartboard and a couple of fruit machines and not forgetting a proper pub carpet. The beer selection is pretty straightforward and offers a line up of familiar keg favourites. I decided on a Fosters, my pint was great, price point was reasonable at less than a fiver. There is no food served here at present. I arrived around 2.30pm on a showery Saturday afternoon in August. The pub was fairly quiet with half dozen local punters in attendance. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed with a local pub feel. I got chatting to the manager who was lovely, she was telling me all about the pub’s recent challenges and the Irish Landlady who has run this pub for nearly 30 years. She also mentioned the Monopoly pub crawlers who visit from time to time. If there was ever a pub that personifies a London Boozer, then this pub is definitely it. The building and decor are a thing of beauty, unlike any other London pub I’ve visited. The fact that they have crab soup for lunch menu it says everything! I love this place and always come back to it!
