A classic greasy spoon, honestly priced and perfect for a hangover fry up. This place is literally across the road from my flat, which is deadly because it’s so convenient and so yum!

Walworth Road is in a humble working-class area. Yesterday, I paid £6.50 for egg on toast and a soapy cup of coffee, followed by the server's glee when I questioned the price. I told him I wouldn't be back, which resulted in a joyful laugh. (Egg on toast does not appear on their menu.)

A short walk from Elephant and Castle in South London this traditional British cafe serves breakfast,lunch and dinner at very reasonable prices. Very popular with locals and tradesmen at lunch time with deals including free hot drink with breakfast (available all day) and old favourites like apple crumble with custard. Family friendly, good food and small prices, highly recommended!

We ate here 3 times and it was a pleasant experience. Staff were friendly and food was served fast & hot. Will definately eat here if we stay at Elephant & Castle again. :)

Here for a course, so was looking for a good, keto friendly breakfast….did not disappoint…superb omelette, great coffee and friendly, fast service…highly recommend.

FAR better than the pretentious place next door, these guys are salt of the earth. Really good food, great selection and fast efficient service.

This pleasant and clean cafe in a busy thoroughfare has laminated menus and a wide range of meals available. I chose an all day breakfast which was politely served, tasted good and came with a lovely cup of coffee.

Not set in the most attractive part of London but they had a deal of the Day shepherds pie and you got apple crumble with custards for free. I do not know if they do deals of the day all the time I only ate here as I was passing. As per the title, it was a good fulfilling dinner and with the apple crumble it was great. A large cup of apple juice with ice on top and my bill came to £8.50. If I find myself in this area again I would eat again at this cafe. I can see they make a good effort to keep it clean but the toilets do let the place down a little, they could do with a little renovation and TLC.

I called in late in the day for an all-day breakfast and my order was taken quickly and politely. The food was served quickly and the meal was tasty and abundant, although perhaps they should get better grade sausages in. That small moan aside, this is an airy and large café, well-sited and with nice material adorning the walls and there are plenty of seats and tables. The prices are competitive and the menu clear and easy to read and the café is clean. Well done.

Huge full English for around a fiver. Friendly staff, and it always seem to be open! The menu ranges from breakfast to a roast!

We were booked in at the nearby Eurotraveller Hotel in Amelia Street and needed somewhere for a cheap breakfast, Cafe House definitely fitted the bill. The cheery staff serve up an endless variety of breakfasty stuff, its well cooked, cheap and comes at you at pace which is handy if you are in a rush. Lovely coffee too, the place has a nice relaxed atmosphere so you can take your time if you have nothing to dash off for, cannot fault it!

Doesn't look anything special from the outside but this cafe offers a massive range of hot and cold food, to eat in or take away, and the quality of the stuff is really very good indeed. Much better than you might expect.

Had breakfast here. Large menu but really many variations on traditional cooked breakfast. The food was good, service efficient. Guests seemed to include local regulars, which is a good thing. An extra point could be given for atmosphere if you are after the neon-lighted place with fitted tables and chairs.

We have eaten here lots of times as good choice of inexpensive eats. The staff are always very friendly and the food is always good - especially the breakfasts which have lots of choice and are very good value.

If you are looking for a good nice english breakfast you can go here. Its looks more worse than it is. A dinner style restaurant. I had eggs, beans, ham and sausage for 4£ wich is pretty cheap. I would go again

Overall was not satisfied. Delivery was almost 2 hours after the order time! Food came but was nothing worth praising if I'm being honest. The rice also had a bitter taste. Dislike putting negative reviews but honestly is sometimes the best policy.

Never ever again. The wrong order was sent out, and when it arrived, the bag was left outside! I discovered it when I went out wondering where the deivery man had got to. They did however delivery the correct order the following day, at which point it was rather too late. Dont tust them.

Grilled lamb chop was ok, bit tough though taste was like mutton rather lamb. Half chicken was good. Spicy grilled chicken wings was not tasty at all, very bland. Coleslaw was one of the worst thing I had, it was so sour than creamy taste. Chips was cold and soggy, not edible at all, thrown all chips to the bin. I like their packaging and salad.

Waited 1h20 (ONE hour and TWENTY minutes) to get 2 Chicken Shish Kebabs. Pitta-bread with spicy chicken inside, no garlic sauce at all or other staff. They just sent 1 tiny salad (i suppose in order to put in the Kebab ourselves). We ordered 2 kebabs and we got 1 salad with 1 cherry tomato and 2 slices of lettuce.

The grilled lamb was alright - neither spectacular nor particularly bad. But the coleslaw was probably one of the worst I have ever had the misfortune of trying...

Both arrived without any sauces, and looked like chunks of raw meat in a box. Both looked the same and tasted like the foam box they send the food in. Ordered peri peri chips and was given plain chips, when we spent over £2 for them! Ordered garlic mushrooms, was instead given chopped is mushrooms with coriander on top. Will never order from here again

if I could give them no star I would. The food was poor I mean I bought a doner kebab and the meat looked very pale for a doner I had to put it under the grill for a bit. also my chips was soggy and I paid for a drink and never received it so all together bad experience won't be using them again!

Unpleasant food. Chips that taste like they've been boiled in butter, cheeseburger the size of a 50p coin, and half a grilled chicken containing all but three bites of meat.

I cant actually rate the food because this restaurant had me waiting 3 hours I called numerous times they avoiding my call so I called from another phone eventually I cancelled my order there service was terrible and they there delivery time was way off.

Excellent - the marinated whole garlic cloves and carrot julienne in the olive salad - phenomenal. I also asked for healthy as possible grilled chicken wrap - delicious. Excellent thank you
