This is a great family run restaurant and take-away. The staff are very friendly and the prices are reasonable. The chips are truly second to none; best had as a take-way with the wrapping in an open cone. They know to always put the vinegar on first and then the salt.

Absolutely love this shop very good good always fresh and hot and customer service is 10/10 would highly recommend

savoloy was cold and colour was dark to indicate it was old. kebab was overly greasy and meat too tough. Not ordering again.

Only reason for giving 2 stars is Large portions are getting smaller and im missing stamps for orders placed 18/5 and 8/6 have made a total of 4 orders and only got 2 stamps. Food is still good

Lovely! Food definitely cooked fresh, good salad, good Ezme (spicy tomato sauce) which they aren’t stingy with! Visited for the first time a Thursday evening around 5pm. Enjoyed everything. I got the mix platter and bread £15! Great price and quality and quantity!

Donor was lovely, good portion, but small shush only had 4 cubes of meat and no sauce in sight for either kebab. Very disappointed in the portion of the shish, considering it’s £12.

Popped in earlier and had this amazingly big portion of chicken meat with rice and salad for less then 9£ which was great as taste and flavour. The inside seats area was great, with very comfy seats and nice clean environmental place. Staff wise, it was a pleasant experience as well. Thank you very much for the nice experience.

I should have asked for sauce in my wrap other than that, nice tasty food and thank you for the drink :)

Restaurant located bottom of Forest Hill Road in main row of shops. Nice indoor and outdoor dining dishes. Friendly service. The good…Kebabs are great with huge fresh accompanying salads. The bad, the chips are not great and pretty tasteless. The ugly, the fish. Horrible soggy, chewy batter em with the texture of wet carpet ..the opposite to a traditional light, crispy batter. Also tried a grilled sea bass which took 45 minutes from order and arrived horribly over cooked. Stick to the Kebabs as the fish and chips really not a nice experience.

Ordered the mixed diner chicken/lamb - great if you had a couples of drinks or going here for lunch, the bread is very good. Meat is eatable if you’re hungry. The kids (cod)fish and chips was abysmal, only good thing about this fish was it was cooked. Batters and fish resemble Sainsbury frozen fish in flavour and textured, highly not recommended this unless you have no other choices nearby!

Best kebab in South London! I had a chicken shish with salad, my husband a chicken burger and wings to share. The chicken shish was cooked to perfection, well seasoned, juicy, full of flavour and the fresh bread is amazing! Chicken burger is a filleted breast (not the frozen factory burgers), very tasty. And the salad is always fresh! Food standards are very high. Keep up the good work :)

It is an incredible place in terms of price performance. They have very delicious food and the service inside is very fast.

This might sound like hyperbole, but Sea Master is, hands down, one of the best fish and chip shops in London. Everything is delicious, the portions are huge, value is great and the staff are unbelievably lovely. They'll treat you like an old friend and you'll never need to go anywhere else. A true local gem that I'd gladly travel for if I didn't live nearby.

A takeaway fish supper. I’m quite a keen cook, and know the core temperature of Cod when perfectly cooked is 63°C. The purpose of batter in a Fish n Cips restaurant is to cushion the fish from the intense heat of the oil, which crisps the batter and allows the fish to rise to a ‘cooked’ temperature. My Cod tonight was checked on my cooking thermometer, and was 108°C. That’s 45° overcooked. Dry, almost cottonwool textured, and tasteless. Alongside this molten fish were cold chips. I did quite like the packaging, but the cooking in this place is a million miles from ‘quality’. If you like fish cooked correctly. Not my first bad review, because I’ve been pretty honest about some equally cremated Haddock in the past. They clearly don’t care about the product they deliver, just the style of delivery. Total waste of money, and a lot of ruined food in the bin.

pleasant premises with outside seating area. however the fish accompanying the chips is the worst ever experienced in the UK. although fried on the spot - the customer receives a piece of batch frozen fish with brown greasy batter and a sliver of fish within it. nothing like proper english flakey fish that accompanies traditional fish & chips. horrid horrid horrid when the customer is looking forward to a proper english fish & chips lunch. the men working there are not busy and standiing about, but do not do table service. they bellow out something unintelligible and the customer must return to the till to pick up their own order. frankly is the worst fish & chips that i have ever had in england. the national dish is being destroyed by premises such as these. go somewhere else as this is a deliberate scam. would give less than one star if this was possible.

Cant speak for any other food here but forget cod or anything in batter from this place. My cod was overcooked and the batter thick and hard also tasteless. No clue how to make fish and chips. £9.50 wasted.

Had a large cod, haddock and chips last night. The fish was freshly cooked, but so overcooked it was like inedible cardboard. The ‘cook’ insisted on a curious procedure of lifting and draining each piece of fish out of the oil, holding it vertically to drain the oil off, then dropping it back in. I mentioned at one point it would probably be ready, but he responded with ‘It will be like sushi’ as he continued to cremate two perfectly good pieces of delicate fish. I literally ate a mouthful of haddock flavoured ‘cotton wool’ and had to throw the rest away. Service and atmosphere at this local chippie are great, but the attention to cooking of their prime ingredient is absolutely risible. I’d genuinely like a refund.

Ordered fish and chips I was told to collect in 15 minutes. Very surprised the chips was stale, and I wasted my money. Not going back there again.

We had a fabulous meal at Sea Master for my dad’s birthday. The lovely waitress Fatima was most friendly and attentive. She made us feel very special and was superb with my young grandson. The food was delicious and we would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Nice and accomodating staff with a mix of kebab, and fish with some traditional English sides.

A lot of chippies could learn from these guys. Fresh fish, freshly battered and fried, excellent chips, and all served with a smile and cheerfulness. One of the best in London.

Really satisfying combination of great food, top service, good prices, very friendly and welcoming staff, and a nice airy seating area if you want to eat in. Have ordered via Just Eat as well as eaten in (once of each), and will be doing so many times more I get the feeling. Will be having chips with everything as they are stellar!

We get our fish and chips from Sea Master every week and my son gets the lamb Shish.I love their fish burger.The food has always been fantastic and hot. I have my family ,friends and work colleagues visit SeaMaster too now. Highly recommend and never disappointed. Portion sizes are greet. Far the best fish and chips shop this side of the river… maybe even London !!

RACIALLY PROFILED! Sea master will never get my custom again.. This is my 2nd bad experience in the store. Firstly ordered and waited for 10-15 mins whilst I presumed my order of large chips were being cooked only to be asked by the same server who took my order if they could take my order again. I told her after 15 mins already waiting I would not wait again and left. Today I went in for 2 lunch wrap specials and had ordered and paid. The transaction went smoothly and thought my previous experience was a fluke. The server who had served me was talking to his colleague whilst preparing my order. The second colleague then approached me with a declined card receipt accusing me of having not paid previously for 2 large fish and chips. I was shocked, 1 as I’m a frequent customer and 2 because I don’t eat fish and never would have ordered these meals. Once I had let him know it wasn’t me. He then continued to embarrass me in front of the other patrons adamant that it “was me and if I’m sure... do I have a brother” as myself and the man in questioned looked the same. Frustrated I left as at this point I was being racially profiled and criminalised by the server. This treatment was unacceptable and staff should be trained to see that not all black men with beards look alike. Do better!

This place is both mine and my families favourite place when we eat out..The Fish is amazing, the kebabs are amazing, the chips is amazing, even the vegiterian options are amazing. Always cooked fresh!! The staff are really friendly, my kids always wants to go down with me to have a laugh with the guys!! Thank you..xx
