Nice for a glass of wine with friends, a good choice for wine lovers and who wants to try particular wine. The place were a bit nosy, but cozy

The plan was to take my partner to places over the weekend that were clues to his birthday surprise on Monday. I chose Diogenes The Dog as one of the clues to Sherlock Holmes. Our visit here turned out to be the highlight of the long weekend. Tasty nibbles, interesting wines - try the Texan Malbec - it's so nice - and expert advice. The two people who we had interactions with were witty and welcoming. I'm sure there'll be a warm welcome for you too

No pretension here - the wine list was the most adventurous I’d ever seen. Our server…well, our expert sommelier enlightened us as we skipped through the wine list. We had sips of many and glasses of a few we took a shine to. Can’t recommend this unique venue enough. Service really was impressive and we came away with a greater understanding and new tastes.

This is the best restaurant in London. The service was very good. The belgian ribeye is very delicious! There are wine selection from all the world.

This cosy wine bar is well worth a trip off the beaten track. The guy that served us really knew his stuff and encouraged us to try unusual wines (orange!). Highly recommend the India red.

Just passing through I stumbled across this amazing wine bar. The young guy who served me knew his wine thats for sure! I had the Harvest 3 a white wine which was so good! I recommend anyone passing to pop in.

We came here for pre-dinner drinks with fairly high expectations driven by stories from friends. We were not disappointed. Declan was quirky and excellent with his recommendations based on our unusual preferences. He played with the ideas of what we liked, which made the experience. Whilst we were not a fan of the exposed nature of the preparation area - it didn't detract from the excellent experience and ultimately good wine! Would recommend!

Attended a wine tasting in December 2021 with a group. It was a great experience and the selection of wines was very unique. The sommelier and sommelier-in-training were so much fun and knowledgeable. Would definitely return to the wine bar and thoroughly recommend it!

Ordered a last minute hamper for a gift and it was delivered within an hour. Really generous amount of food and wine - and what wine! Absolutely lovely. Highly recommended.

We have visited a few times now and are always met with a extremely professional service and friendly bespoke reccomendations for wine. Yiannis was extremely attentive throughout the evening and made our experience 5 star. Efharisto Yianni!

If you love wine this is a must. An incredible selection from around the world. If you dont quite know what you fancy, Sunny and his team will help you to find the perfect glass. Small plates and just gorgeous decor. Perfect for a nice drink. Must must must.

Great range of wines...even Orange....Japanese, Welsh, Bulgarian, even Wolverhampton... and they really know their wine..staff are so helpful and knowledgeable if you know next to nothing about wine like me.. Got a few seats outside now and lovely inside.... 100% we'll be back...

If you like wine and people who know a lot about the wine they serve - this is a great friendly neighbourhood wine bar and shop. Small plates and cheeseboards also deserve kudos!

Went to Diogenes last night for a 1st date. The place is super cute, the waiters are very friendly, and the wine is both unique & enjoyable......definitely more exciting than just ordering another French Cabernet. Highly recommend.

We were visiting from the states and this place was well worth the walk and off the tourist path, which we appreciated. They had a great selection of natural wine and very knowledgeable staff and owners. It was clear how much they love wine and making it accessible for anyone who wants to learn.

This is a lovely, lovely place to be. The wine is unusual and delicious. The staff are super-friendly and sooooo knowledgeable. It's all cosy and beautifully lit. It's absolutely perfect and exactly what this area needs.
