Salteñas Martin in Southwark

Walking by during the day, I was intrigued by their bakery items. I had two items, beef and chicken Salteñas. Salteña is like a pasty but from Bolivia. It is beautifully crafted a contains super tasty meat inside. The beef I was told was cooked for several hours. I fancy popping down your check their Mexican next time!

Great little place. I had 3 enchiladas. Probably the best I've ever had in a Mexican. Much better than the usual chain Mexicans. Friendly service. No alcohol licence, so BYO if you want alcohol.

We went to this place for the first time this Sunday, though I have been looking for it for long. I am so amazed to see such food so fresh and great taste . So authentic and filled with love. And I believe a restaurant is made by its people too and the people here are so like family. I felt like eating at my own home with my own people. The shake was so fresh and real. I love this place. Service Review: I've visited Saltenas Martin Cafe three times, and each visit has been marked by the staff's exceptional hospitality and manners. I felt comfortable and well taken care of. Premises review: The restrooms were impeccably clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies. For those who prefer contactless payments, you can pay with a card, which is very convenient. For anyone looking for a place to relax and work, they have multiple wall sockets available. Food Review: The Saltena Pastry was outstanding! The chicken was perfectly cooked, the pastry had a lovely golden-brown color, and the broth sauce made it juicy and flavorful. The cassava dish was nostalgic and reminded me of homemade food in Uganda. The evening menu from Thursday to Sunday offers a greater variety of options; I tried the pork and beef tacos, which were both delicious. Additionally, I enjoyed the Mexican Horchata and Oat Latte drinks. Atmosphere Review: The cafe exudes a homely vibe, and the Christian gospel music adds to the atmosphere. As a Christian, I am overjoyed to have found a place like this close to my home. The qualities of peace and kindness are evident here, just as Galatians 5:22 describes.

We've tried the Bolivian food and it's just as good as the best we've had in Bolivia. The Mexican food looks good too, we're coming back to try it.

Tacos were amazing, its a nice touch that they give you all the sauces and toppings on the side. Everything was so fresh too. We were the only non-Mexican people in a crowded restaurant, that tells a lot about the food’s quality :)

Excellent Mexican snacks and tacos on Friday after 4pm, Saturday after 2 and Sunday after 1. And excellent customer service.

The food was delicious, this place is unique as it has very authentic bolivian pastries and drinks, the food is made on the day so is fresh. Kid friendly, staff is kind and helpful. My children really enjoyed the mocochinche drink and empanada de queso. A little bit overpriced but worth for a treat. Definitely recommend this place.

I have tried Bolivian food in the mornings and Mexican food in the afternoons and I honestly don't know which is better, the service is incredible, the food is delicious and the prices are very good, it is a gem of a place, if I could choose a dish favorite would be the salteña or the cheese empanada, all incredible 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️

The food is phenomenal (by far the best Mexican I’ve had in London) and price can’t be beat. The horchata, empanadas, and tacos have very generous servings, high quality ingredients, and are full of flavor. Also the staff are incredibly friendly! Cannot recommend this place enough!
