The best restaurants in Caledonian Islington London

Walked in some Monday around 6pm and stayed to 6:30pm. Left some belonging there, didn't notice until late on the tube. When trying to make phone calls, no one was replying. Then several phone calls were made trying to reach out to them but failed. Walked in on Wednesday again trying to retrieve my item then was told it's been thrown away! I raised a complaint to the manager about 'proper way of handling customers' item', and the reply is disappointing. They disregarded my effort trying to reach out and didn't care about customer service. They replied with no apologies but insists on the 'regulations'. But when I tried to ask them for evidence of such rules or regulations, they didn't respond at all. Worst of my all time experiences, staff there have no professionality and no honesty. Never visited again.

Así que el servicio de Trish fue genial. Teníamos el plato de compartir. Empezó con humus, patatas bravas, gyoza y pan. Estaba bien, pero no sobresaliente. El segundo servicio cambió las cosas. Tuvimos el curry que era sabroso y chapuzón de remolacha que era increíble y lleno de chile. El vino tinto portugués era encantador. Volvería para el segundo plato y el servicio. Genial ver un lugar basado en plantas con tan buen servicio y comida.

This is a legend venue for good value hearty food if you have some proper job to do. Great service .

Muy agradecido con estos muchachos por meterme justo antes de que cerraran un sábado. Explicaron que ya habían cerrado las freidoras y pasaron por lo que aún podían hacerme. Tomé un desayuno exuberante y en realidad no me sentí presionado para irme. Un personal muy sonriente que te hace sentir que te quiere allí.

Lovely staff and nice ambiance. Tapas were average. Wine flight was good though.

Very friendly cafe, almost next to King's Cross Station. Went to stoke up before a long train journey and had a large full English, with much better quality bacon and sausage than usual in these kind of cafes, great coffee and excellent freshly squeezed orange juice. Total cost £11.45 - excellent!

This place has undergone a mild facelift and has tables outside on the pavement. we did not book and although there were no available tables for the evening we could spend 40 minutes there just for a drink. Friendly and personable service with food now being served. It has been rejuvenated due to lockdown!

Great all day breakfast. It's my first choice if i'm changing trains at King Cross and even though it a little pricey, the coffee is great.

Vinam Café is no longer. In its place, a Chinese/Thai takeaway. We had sugary seaweed, beansprouts suspended in an inert medium and a thai gloopy brown curry (the menu said green). They couldn't even do fried rice properly, it was overcooked. Avoid!

Fui a este restaurante con mi familia para celebrar mi cumpleaños. El restaurante es pequeño y acogedor. El anfitrión / servidor era muy acogedor. La comida era fantástica. Tengo dos hijos que son exigentes comiendo, uno es más exigente que el otro. Ambos niños disfrutaron mucho de la comida, especialmente porque podían comer con las manos. Todos estamos deseando visitar de nuevo.
