The best restaurants in Caledonian Islington London

This cafe serves excellent double Espresso. I truly enjoyed the quality of their coffee. I am looking forward to ordering their dishes from the menu in the near future.

Encontré este por casualidad. El café y bocadillos aquí son muy superiores a los grandes nombres de marca. El café es delicioso. El pan es fresco y se puede ver que el personal allí es muy servicial.

Este Pret es un poco más pequeño que el promedio de la tienda Pret y, en consecuencia, tiene una opción un poco menor de lo normal. De lo contrario, Pret bastante estándar en términos de presentación, velocidad de servicio y amabilidad del personal. Doy un extra debido a la forma en que el personal fue a la manera de devolver mis llaves caídas.

Fantastic place to grab quality lunch and sit in the sunshine and watch the world and its wife go by. Friendly hospitality and great service with a wide range of Italian foods and wines and even bottles of Peroni Red Label. Our food was freshly made and very tasty. Great example of green credentials with shelves and flooring from rescued wood that gives it a fantastic feel and atmosphere.

Very warm welcome in this café where there is a wide variety of choice. Nothing to complain about!

Superb food - had the aubergine vegan dish but next time will try something meaty. Loved the bread which came straight from the stove. The interior really neat and modern, service really attentive. Turkish for long already posing a serious threat to Italians for the food nation top spot :)

Un restaurante excepcional. Los chefs son verdaderos artistas – esto es arte culinario en su máxima expresión. Nací y crecí en Bakú, la capital de Azerbaiyán, y me fui hace muchos años. Nunca esperé encontrar una cocina azerbaiyana tan brillante tan lejos de casa, y a un nivel que hiciera honor a los mejores restaurantes de Bakú. Recomiendo encarecidamente el toyug plov (arroz de pollo) y el plato de parrilla. Las crepes rellenas con carne son una excelente opción. La dovga casera (una sopa de yogur y hierbas) sabe como debería: ligera, fresca y reconfortante. Las ensaladas y verduras encurtidas están perfectamente equilibradas. No hay especias abrumadoras, ni aceites extraños, ni sal pesada para enmascarar el sabor, y las salsas siempre se sirven de lado, no en la comida. Lo que prueba son ingredientes naturales y frescos cocinados con habilidad y respeto. Es simplemente delicioso. Comimos mucho más de lo que habíamos planeado, y aún así nos sentimos lo suficientemente ligeros y cómodos como para continuar nuestra caminata nocturna por Londres, completamente satisfechos, pero nunca pesados. Este restaurante se mantiene fiel a la esencia de la cocina azerbaiyana: ingredientes frescos de alta calidad y excelentes recetas tradicionales. Lo recomiendo de todo corazón, tanto a los amantes de esta cocina desde hace mucho tiempo como a aquellos que la descubren por primera vez.

Sit back and order your dinner, with the radio playing in the background, you can already feel like your in Istanbul proper. Then the food comes hot and ready to enjoy, I regularly come here with my son because of the excellent dishes served and the easy going staff - I often feel like I've saved myself the airfare!

We had a wonderful steak dinner at this restaurant last night. Everything was great, the steaks, the sides, the cocktails and the wine. But was standout for us was the very courteous and professional service from our waiter Taleb. He made our night extra special and he is certainly a credit to this restaurant. Wonderful English breakfast at reasonable price! The only problem was that on the menu it was written coffee was included in the breakfast price, but they made us pay separately for it. I give 4/5 to the location rather than 5/5 just because they kept the door open and it was a little bit too cold for me (march in London is not so hot to keep a door open, but it’s just a personal opinion!) Apart from this, everything was fine and I strongly recommend it!

Great authentic food at very reasonable prices. The injera is particularly good unlike most sold in London restaurants. Multi vegetarian dish was very tasty. The spicy food can be very spicy. The owner is your waiter and is not reluctant to give good advice.

Great pizza and ambiance! Loved it here late night!

What a fab gem of a place. We had couple of cocktails each and these were excellent. We now have to come back when we are next in the area with more time to spare and to try their Mexican food. Great music, vibe, lovely chaps working the bar and overall a gem of a place. Unassuming to look at but super spot for a great evening out. Thanks for your honest hospitality guys!
