I have been to this restaurant few times, and to be honest have only eaten in there once and the service is so poor. Even if they are not busy they take ages to serve you and we were once nearly late getting to the theatre. It has been taken over by new management, but the service is shocking as ever. I ordered a takeaway of 2 dishes yesterday and was told 30mins on the phone. I got there and they were still cooking. 20mins later and still nothing, so I decided to get a refund and just leave the food. I must admit the 2/3 dishes I normally get are really good but I wont be going back as this poor service has happened way to many times... AVOID!!!!

I had been with my friends at pizza hut restaurant at Uxbridge bridge road Hayes on 6/02/2025 around 5:45 pm and the waiter told us that we need to order online. Not realising that the pizza hut app and restaurants operate differently I by mistake made an order on the app for collection. As the pizza hut address showed up as Uxbridge road I thought that it's the same one. As the waiter inquired of us, he told us that it was a big mistake and I have to cancel the order there and re do it online. So I called up the delivery hub for cancellation and had a word with than manager but he told me that the order is already in the oven. The waiter at the pizza hut restaurant took over the conversation with the huts delivery manager over my phone and later he advised me that the manager said to contact the customer support for refund. After that we had a whole new order placed at the pizza hut restaurant. After that I sent an email to pizza hut customer services and they took about a week to respond as they waited for the hut managers update. However it's very disappointing that the manager has declined my refund application even though they were the the one who had advised me to apply for refund through customer care. I am not able to believe that such a renowned brand like pizza hut could do anything like this. I ended up paying for food that I didn't collect just because they adviced me that it would be handled by the CS pizza hut. And now they say that they can't do anything it the manager declined the claim. Why in the first place was I given false assurance. I would rather Go and collect it than to order again in the restaurant. Would never give a thought of having pizza hut again.
