I have been to this restaurant few times, and to be honest have only eaten in there once and the service is so poor. Even if they are not busy they take ages to serve you and we were once nearly late getting to the theatre. It has been taken over by new management, but the service is shocking as ever. I ordered a takeaway of 2 dishes yesterday and was told 30mins on the phone. I got there and they were still cooking. 20mins later and still nothing, so I decided to get a refund and just leave the food. I must admit the 2/3 dishes I normally get are really good but I wont be going back as this poor service has happened way to many times... AVOID!!!!

We had the (dis)pleasure of buying 6 dosas with sambhar yesterday as a takeaway. The sambhar was probably the worst sambhar we've ever had. It was diluted with water to increase the quantity that if they added a little more water in it, then it would turn back into in to water albeit, a yellow coloured water. I mean, if we wanted a diluted sambhar we could just add the water ourselves or have asked for a free jug of tap water. It had big chunks of tomatoes and no vegetables at all. The onions were cut in big chunks too. The coriander was just chucked in without cutting, someone who was so angry with their job just tore the coriander to pieces, took their anger out on the poor herb and chucked it in the sambhar. The sambhar tasted horrible to say the least and it only smelt of sambhar and everything that smells of sambhar does not make it sambhar. They probably added a dash of readily available sambhar masala. The dosas were too greasy and smelt of reused oils from their kitchen. The paneer dosa had a combination of paneer 65 and mashed potatoes and the Paneer 65 looked like it is from someone’s leftover plate. We will never be ordering from this place ever again. I can write more detailed review but had to cut it short as a visit to the loo was necessary as a consequence of eating their dosa-sambhar and still a day later I am a regular to the loo. Never again!

Ordered chicken 65 and got random pieces of fish in it. Makes you wonder how they handle the food they serve to people. The owner completely denied it while holding the piece of fish to his nose. Well he says all chicken and fish are cooked in the same oil?!? Bloody hell, never going there again. Plus the rice served with the thali was laced with gravy? How? Other people’s leftovers anyone?? This place is cheap for a reason.

The husband and I love seafood. We had 2 different types of seafood soup for starter which were both delicious. We had the a mutton on the bone curry and rice for main. There was nothing to complain about. The food, spiciness and price were great. The service was good but can be improved on. I would definitely go again.

My husband & I were headed to Sarasas for date night but ended up here as the atmosphere was much more pleasant. We started by ordering fresh juices and they really were “fresh” as good as any juice bar. Next out came the starters which were much better quality and huge compared to a lot of South Indian chains. This left us both very shocked at the quality of the mains. My husband ordered a lamb curry that had old grizzly meat stewed into it. Mine was fine, just a little tasteless compared to the starters. I also ordered a chocolate dosa which was actually pictured in the menu, however when the fish came out it no where near resembled the photograph which was very disappointing. To be fair we could have just had some bad luck with the dishes and I will probably try the restaurant again.

Avoid this restaurant at any cost, very horrible service . Had gone on 20 may 2018 and it takes 1 hour to process one order. Atleast the manager should have informed that it would take longer. The manager was very rude, bad customer service vice. The food was tasteless. Had ordered for falooda, it tasted like medicine. Disgusting. Don't know how such kind of restaurants get license to operate???

Visited with my wife. Sat down at eight but no one came to ask for drinks order until 8.15 yet there were only 6 customers in the restaurant. Tandoori starters not available because chef was off sick. Dosa was not nicely done but non vegetarian dishes ok. I dont think I will visit again.

If you want to taste South Indian/ Sri Lankan food you must visit this place . The food is made to perfection with grocery and Fish delivered fresh from Own shop next door. It’s an unpretentious place with lots of seating. Don’t be put off if it’s not full as we have been visiting this restaurant regularly and never have been disappointed.

A meal here a few days ago two adults one teenager. Ate here on a whim having looked at the reviews. though it worth a try. not busy a good few customers and quite a few empty tables On entering we asked for a table for three and were gestured at a table, and quickly handed menu's But then we were consistently ignored for the next 25 minutes. despite trying to attract staff they busied themselves elsewhere or found things to do by the bar and at one point decided that all the empty tables needed clearing. When we did get served we really struggled to be understood what food and drink we wanted, it felt like a comedy sketch when even the point at the menu method didn't work. We eventually managed to order drinks and food, although we did have to remind the waiter about the drinks once. The food started to arrive two starters followed by a main course followed by a starter then two more main courses followed with supposedly according to the menu three different types of tandoor cooked chicken that in reality all turned out to be identical. About 15 minutes after the chicken the Naan bread supposedly to accompany the two chicken dishes arrived what was left of the chicken was now cold. About a further 15 minutes later the third main course arrived, my daughter and i had finished eating by the time my wife's Dosa arrived. The actual food was okay with a Chilli Paneer that was actually really good. The two Naan breads were both served hot and fresh but were both utterly tasteless My wife's Dosa pretty good. After being ignored at the start of the meal the same happened at the end of the meal, we probably could have simply walked out, i don't think any of the staff would have noticed or even cared if we had. but we are honest so we stayed and paid Despite passing this restaurant fairly often I doubt we will be desperate enough to return. There are other and better restaurants within walking distance

This is surely the cheapest indian restaurant we have been last few years. They have offers during lunchtime where they serve meals starting 2-3 £. Non-Veg south indian thali is 4.99 £. This thali is massive and you cant finish on your own. Food is tasty but oily and spicy. You really need to control and not overstuff yourself. They have wide variety of south indian dishes. If you dont want to spend much and looking to have south indian food. This place might not disappoint you.

I have placed an food order for 50 odd people to celebrate our traditional Diwali festival. The food came on time and was well packed. Both non veg and veg items meet all ours expectations... Mr. Rajan the manager was sensible enough to Reduce the price per person. All Food items tasted very all apart for chicken-65 (form my friends). Chicken-65 was little bit of extra salt but it was palatable. But over all the Diwali celebrations went very well.. thanks to Krishnan restaurant

Krishna web page states you will be welcomed with a smile. I must have walked into the wrong place as the staff to begin with looked bloody miserable but did warm up over time. We ordered several dishes to taste as well as dosa which South India is famous for. I had a chilli and coriander dosa which was superb although slightly thicker than I normally experience which gave it the feel of being a little wet. The fish curry had far too many small bones which did stab my palate on several occasions so I would personally not order it again. For the area this is a posh Indian eatery serving Dom P champagne and Grey Goose Vodka. Not what you expect from Hayes, Greater London. Guys if you can make the effort to have a superb interior and premium beverages a little more attention to bones in the food would not come a miss. I will certainly be back but avoiding the fish. The Devil Chicken is one to certainly try.

My friend and I had a excellent meal here a couple weeks ago. The manager/owner was brilliant in his whole demeanor and you could tell he was passionate about his restaurant and us being there. The food itself was excellent, a combination of traditional South Indian and Sri Lankan cusines. We had the Hariyali Salmon Tikka for starters based on the managers reccomendation and it did not dissapoint, it was an excellent portion size and cooked to perfection. For mains we had a Masala Dosa each which was delicious and generous in size, we both struggled to finish them! Alcohol is very reasonably priced and overall it was a great experience, I genuinely look forward to going back and think I will become a regular! I wish them all the best and hope they succed where many others fail as it's all to rare to find restaurants like this that remain passionate about their food, service and business.

Order starter's to one of the waitress,After 10 minutes another waitress asked for the order. We told her the order was already made and her reply was sorry the other waitress is new staff and she did not inform the chef.So place the order again (Starter and Main course) and told her to bring all the meals together. Waited over an hour no sign of any food apart from the papadoms. After. After hour and half the waitress said it will take another 5-10 minutes ....when we get the food it was stone cold ,The fish platter was £24 ,not even worth £10.One 2 prawns in the platter,no sauce,Had to wait half hour for drinks.Main course was OK but not worth the money we paid.Needs more training for the staffs including Chefs.

A new seafood restaurant in Hayes, Middlesex, made a changed from the local fast food (chicken) joints. Warm welcome by staff and shown to a simple, but clean table for four. Food and drinks ordered with friendly waitress (Not Asian). The popadoms came with unusually BBQ sauce instead of the 4 sauces (Mint, Mango Chutney, Lime Pickle & Onion Chutney).

So we ordered a lot so we could try different dishes and every single one of the dishes were presented and served brilliantly. The customer service is amazing and the staff really look after you. We always have a take away, but we popped into the restaurant tonight after a busy day and couldn't have asked for a more lovely welcome. Most importantly all the food was so fresh and tasty. From the tandoori fish to the old school lamb balti and melt in your mouth lamb tikka. Thank you for reminding us what going out to eat should be like - excellent tasting food and fabulous service.

Anikas changed ownership in 2019, 20 years after opening in 1999. Unfortunately the new owners post 2019 have ruined the place due to poor food quality and slow service. More recently they have been closed down due to health and safety issues. The shop is currently being revamped and reopened by the original 1999 owners so keep an eye out.

Good for, service was friendly but a little aloof. Not bad for an airport stopover bite to eat.
