Excellent service, tastefully decorated place and delicious food.

If you want a mouth-watering salt beef sandwich on proper Rye bread, with all the trimmings like mustard and pickled cucumber, this is the only place to go. Once, inside at the counter, you'll be astonished by the huge, generous layers of succulent, dark-red, salt beef, (corned beef if you're from the USA), perfectly cooked daily in their own kitchen, or deliciously soft beef tongue, accompanied by some of the best hand cut chips I have ever tasted, or one of their delicious potato latkes. I can't speak too highly of this little gem of a restaurant. It's not kosher but it's in that "Old Fashioned Kosher Style" like Blooms was if you know what I mean! They also do great chopped liver, chopped fried fish balls and chopped boiled as well as chicken soup with kneidlach or lokshen or bean and barley. Not a big selection of desserts, but the Apple Strudel is always good and there's also lokshen pudding. Treat yourself to a sandwich. You won't be disappointed. This is a solid 4 stars maybe just under a 5! If you start going on a regular basis you'll soon be on first name terms with the proprietor.

Situated on Station Parade, near the famous Broadfields car accessory shop, at Canons Park. Parking available in the service roads, at the front & rear. Newly decorated to a very smart standard. A large menu is available to suite all tastes. Very reasonably priced Nicely presented, delicious food was seved. Will definitely revisit Cannesdid.... surfing syd

I recently visited The Spice Box in Edgware.It was an amazing experience! The have very friendly staff made for a delightful dining experience. The food was very nice with flavours. The service was attentive and welcoming, ensuring that our meal was enjoyable from start to finish. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Lo recomendaría para bebidas y/o comida. Una pepita en Berwick Street. Estaba con mi marido. Tuvimos un par de meze mixto para empezar y no pudimos resistir un entrante adicional de halloumi y salchicha picante. Falafel era fantástico y halloumi muy bien cocinado, luego compartimos el pincho de pollo para la red. Bebí spritz de abril y mi marido bebió borrador de Efes. Teníamos una mesa frente a la calle. Perfecto para la gente que mira. El personal era atento y agradable. Definitivamente volveré.

Wanted a good steak grill restaurant so booked table for dinner at Black Salt for family. Located on busy Whitchurch road so parking is limited. The staff were friendly and welcoming, interior nice and comfortable. The menu consists of grilled steaks, chicken, burgers, fish. We ordered T Bone, ribeye steak and salmon. Kids portions are available on request. The steaks were big and delicious. The generous sides of chips and veg were good too, especially the battered cauliflower! Bill including drinks was around £75 which is very reasonable. Had a nice evening, service was great and we enjoyed the friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

It is nice but I found the takeaway kebabs very stingy, have to pay extra for rice or chips ? Seems overpriced for takeaway. Had meal in there was nice enough and more generous than the takeaway option but not special and no extras like Turkish tea or baclava.

Great curry. Nice guys friendly service, delivered in 20mins when they were just closing around 11pm. Tikka massala was lovely, bhuna nice, extra poppadoms and onion bhaji. Couldn't fault anything. Definiteling recommended.

Had an amazing times with my mates,shisha was amazing and the flavour was so smooth and tasty, highly recommended if you want to have an amazing time with your mates or family, stuff was friendly and respectful.

I’m really disappointed this restaurant is a shambles the service is mediocre the staff were rude and playing with bouncing balls on the restaurant floor. Furthermore we ordered a Melissa special platter for 2 and the portions were atrocious the lamb diner only had 6 strands of meat and the chicken doner that was on the plate seemed like someone had Given us leftovers you couldn’t even see the chicken. £45 for two. I would avoid this restaurant at all costs. Spend your money somewhere else, ima foodie and a blogger know what I’m talking about the kitchen staff were very rude not welcoming at all.
