Lovely atmosphere and Food. The Momos were a smashing 10/10. Highly recommend this place for finest Nepalese Cuisine. The staff were amazing in particular Akash who was very attentetive and the owner Sejal who looked after us well to make sure there was no issues.

Delicious authentic food, stunning interior and very cosy; service out of this world; very attentive and helpful. Will definitely come here again; highly recommend to anyone. It’s a hidden gem here in Edgware and i you will not be disappointed; really lovely place to unwind and have some fabulous food ❤️❤️❤️

We had the pleasure of celebrating our daughter’s 1st birthday at Himalayan Spices, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. All our guests, as well as ourselves, were thrilled with the food, the service, and how accommodating both the staff and owners were. It’s the perfect venue if you’re looking for a place to gather or celebrate. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and everything was offered at a very affordable price. We definitely recommend it!

We visited several times here before, but the owner has changed and it's for the better. I've noticed improvements in service and food. Very tasty and satisfying. We've not been told before but there is additional seating upstairs and area to hire for events. Quality Nepalese / Indian food. Best time to visit would be weekdays. Call before visiting as it gets busy in evenings.

WOW WOW WOW. A gem of a place on Edgware High St and one that serves the finest drinks, and accompanied with the finest Nepalese Indian infused food. Whether you pop in for a quick drink and a snack, or spending an evening downing cocktails and a tucking into a lovely meal from the a la carte menu, the service afforded to you by the staff as well as the owners will leave you wanting to come back here over and over again. The momo especially is to die for; by far is the best momo tasted ever! Especially the vegetarian one! A must visit.

I visited this fantastic place in February 2024 with my family of 4 when we were staying in Edgware. The restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean. Even before we ordered our food, it was obvious that the owners and staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful and attentive. When it became time to order, we asked for recommendations and the member of staff who took our order spent a good amount of time explaining the various dishes on offer. My youngest son and I enjoy hot and spicy dishes, and so ordered something appropriately fiery from the menu. We were asked how hot we would like it, and of course we said 'as hot as it gets'. Boy, we weren't disappointed! Every item we had was of outstanding quality, and the service we received from the staff was probably the best service I've ever had in a restaurant. Seeing that my son and I were struggling with the intense heat of the dishes that we were eating (well we DID ask for it to be HOT!), the waiter offered to bring some yoghurt for my son, and a few moments later, some napkins for myself! This was done without us having to ask, and without embarrassing us in any way. The staff were extremely attentive and yet left us to enjoy the meal without constant interruptions. They seemed happy that we were visiting from Manchester, and when told them that we would most definitely be visiting there again. I cant recommend this place enough, and we can't wait to visit again in a few months when we're next in the area! Staff 10/10 Food 10/10

Food took some time to come but it is so fresh and tastes wonderful! Look at the picture of the Himalayan lamb biryani and you will know it’s unique even by looks! A Tandoori roti covers the biryani and it’s an absolute novelty and the lassi and the momo are divine!

I had requested a catering service for my house warming party from Himalayan Spices. Sejal and the whole team were very helpful and accommodating. Great evening and dinner with friends at Himalayan Spices. The food was pretty spicy/hot generally (though you can ask for less spice/chilli) and every dish absolutely delicious! The service from Prisant was excellent; knowledgeable and helpful. The gentleman dealing with the bar and drinks was also very friendly and professional. Overall a great experience and hope to go back soon. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful restaurant, not to be overlooked!!! The food here is incredible and not to mention very very affordable, the staff are helpful, friendly, and go above and beyond. If you’re not sure what to order they are more than happy to point you in the right direction, and everything they recommended us was delicious. Definitely will be coming here again, and hopefully more people will give this place a try as its low-key, hole-in-the-wall exterior will surely have too many missing out. Give it a try!

Absolutely INCREDIBLE food, dishes are rich and aromatic without being too heavy, oily or salty. We were encouraged to have Buff dumplings today which were utter heaven. The Biryani, fish and prawn dishes are delicious. Staff are very attentive and sweet. Great value for money and the venue is charming. My boyfriend and I are completely smitten.

Lamb biryani was amazing! Chicken Karhai is worth checking out. Fish tikkas are a must for appetizer. Food takes a while but worth the wait

Nice food and lovely ambience and five star service

After some research to find a nice Nepalese restaurant my family and I came across Himalayan Spice in Edgware, we drove from Kempston to try this place out. Greeted with a warm welcome. We tried plenty of starters, some of which the waiter recommended. Starters were very tasty. The star dish of the meal was the chicken karahi accompanied with garlic naan. I would recommend to try this place out if you fancy a good meal.

The app wasn't updating properly and we had no idea when to expect the food beyond the initial estimate on 17.50-18.10. It arrived about an hour later.

The food was delicious- exactly how we would have liked it to be. The staff was polite and courteous. Above all it is not very expensive place to dine at and the portion sizes were quite decent. I would definitely recommend the traditional Nepalese momos. Also be mindful the food can be a bit spicy, for those who are not used to it - so please let the staff know when ordering.

I am very proud of Himalayan spices that they are providing so delicious Nepalese cuisine. I have ordered samaya baji(Typical Newari khaja set) and momo (2nd time). Both of the dishes are so mouthwatering and delicious. If you are not visiting this restaurant than you will be missing something. It’s universal for every part of the nation not only Nepal. Please visit the places and feel the taste. Hats off for all the team members specially the chef. Jojolapaaa Namaste and hands off salute from Nepal.

We ordered a takeaway from here and this is genuinely one of the best authentic curries I have had. Everything was packed with flavour including the pulau rice. When I went to pick up my order the staff member was extremely kind and had taken 20% off despite this only being for online orders. I was offered a drink while I waited and when I asked for poppadoms and dips (left them off my order by accident) he refused my offer to pay for them and gave them for free! I would also recommend eating in as the restaurant itself is decked out beautifully, looked clean and guests seemed to be well looked after as well. We paid £35 which fed 3 and we had leftovers! Definitely get the chicken biriyani and tawa vegetable curry if you’re looking for a flavourful experience!

I'm a fan of this place. One can't get enough of the flavours, which are always on point. We had the most amazing Nepali Thali (sorry forgot the name) and not to forget, the delicious momos, especially- Sadeko momos! Oh my God! Such a delicacy that is. For starters I had the chicken tikka and dumplings. Wow! For main lamb shank. For dessert the mango. For drinks a couple Gurkhas and a merlot. Wow. What amazing food. I asked for mild however it was still spicy but just right. Mild indeed. Perfection! The chicken tikka was amazing, so tender. And marinated perfectly. The lamb shank was cooked to a degree of perfection I am not used to. I was served by Prashant, a native Nepalese who lives and works here. He is one of the nicest guys I have met in London. Prashant is probably the most attentive waiter I have come across in London. Without a doubt this guy is a credit to the restaurant and I hope the management know and realise this. I was dining alone but never felt alone. Prashant was friendly and made conversation. This is a personalised touch you don't get often anymore. He advised on food and drinks. Overall this was an amazing dining experience and I will return when next in Edgware.
