Amazing food!! As good as it gets and closest to the Indo chinese you get in India. Can’t complain. If you haven’t tried it yet, you are definitely missing something amazing!!!

We ordered the "Monster chicken wings", quite spicy but different and enjoyable followed by Manchurian Vegetarian curry (I enjoyed it but my wife was ok with it )and vegetable fried rice which was actually quite excellent. I would definitely go back at least a couple more times to try some of the other offerings on the menu which looks promising.

Loved the food. Very disappointed that the service charge of 12.5% don't seem to be getting shares with waiting staff. Went again and the food has gone downhill. Same was noted by other friends who went there recently. Shame that I have had to downgrade the star rating.. Went in March25. The food is pretty average. Crispy Lotus Root is worth a try. Hot and sour veg soup, crispy corn, veg manchurian and singapore noodle are okay. Monster chicken wings are smallest chicken wings you will ever come across but they were tastey. Chicken spring roll and chicken tepanyaki are tasteless and would say badly prepared. Choc fudge cake was dry and stodgy but the sizzling brownie was nice. They didn't have Angostura bitters in stock to make a proper Old Fashioned but they still were happy to serve it until they got called out!! The service is poor where they constantly got the order wrong. The waiter was laying out fredh plates for the next course even before collecting table full of used and empty tableware. And dare not go in the toilets!

All aspects of the food with the customer service were top-notch, but the only suggestion I would make is to introduce chopsticks in the restaurant as well, to infuse the proper Chinese vibe into the restaurant as well.

The chicken lollipop, chicken momos , and chicken Hakka noodles aslo most recommended Kolkata chicken fried rice and chicken Manchurian was superb all flavorful and well-prepared also we met chef steveen lee was great pleasure meeting him.. We had a very delicious meal at Hakka Garden. I have been to quite a few Desi Chinese restaurants in London but none of them were having true Indo - Chinese taste. This one is for all the Indians who love the Desi Chinese food Thanks to Mr.Abhisek & Mr.Pinaki for such a wonderful hospitality. Will see you guys again soon :)

Highly recommend the Calcutta style Chilli chicken and Wanton Manchurian was simply amazing and very authentic which I had in Calcutta 20 years ago. Mixologist from Thakurpukur made us amazing cocktails. We are definitely returning here for more Indo Chinese dishes!

Friends recommended the food at Hakka Gardens, which prompted us to place a catering order for a birthday party. From the first point of contact, the customer service and attention to detail in creating a menu for the occasion, was second to none. The dishes arrived beautifully presented and most importantly, the food was hot and delicious. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the Kolkata chill chicken, fried rice and more. Special thanks to Pinaki and his team for making this such a pleasant experience for us.

Very poor quality indo chinese food. The vegetable haka noodles lacked vegetables and paneer was hard, burnt ginger rice was just boiled rice with a few flakes of burnt ginger

I will never forget this experience of dining in Hakka Garden on the Diwali night on the occasion of the birthday of my loveliest wife. I am an ardent lover of the vintage Indo-Chinese cuisine , who hails from the birth place of that very cuisine, i.e Kolkata! Just when I was about to give up on the hopes of finding anything similar to Kolkata's Chinese food, I came across this restaurant on the internet and my sixth sense told me "Let's try this". And oh boy, what an experience it was. Pure nostalgia, one bite of the succulent fried prawns and zap, I teleported to the gullies of Tyangra, the mecca of Indo-Chinese food in Kolkata. Honestly, this came as a surprise. Great familiar food, great ambience and last but not the least, the two persons managing the restaurant, Pinaki and the other guy, they were fabulous, very professional and polite. Can't wait to go back again. If you have read this far, I'm sure you will want to verify what I am saying. Hurry up! Head to Queensbury, the foodgasm awaits you 😄

Great food and outstanding service

I had a delicious meal at Hakka Garden! The crispy mixed vegetable pepper salt was my favourite —I’d 100% order it again and highly recommend it. The chicken lollipop, sweet and sour chicken, and vegetable Hakka noodles were all flavorful and well-prepared. My servers, Iqram and Pinaki, were kind, attentive, and patient, which made the experience even better.

A good Indo-chinese restaurant. Not busy. It is about 15 minute walk from the nearby tube station at queensbury. Starters are much better. Service was friendly. Food was fresh and tasty. A good place to experience Indo-chinese food. Do not expect authentic Chinese cuisine.

Indian-Chinese to die for. By far the best Indian-Chinese food I have had outside India and arguably among the top even within India. Every dish we had was absolutely perfect.

The food is amazing! Perfect Indo-Chinese food with a blend of spice, flavour and tradition. The service was good and the waiters were very friendly. There weren’t too many people, therefore the atmosphere was nice and relaxed.

If the restroom is in such a filthy state, can you imagine what the kitchen might look like? I wanted to post photos to warn others, but unfortunately, I didn’t have my phone with me in the restroom. Honestly, proceed with caution. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and this place falls far below it.

The best Indo-Chinese restaurant, Hakka Noodles were amazing and Portions were good enough. Plenty of street parking available. After my visit today and meeting the master chef and the owners, I can confidently say that this restaurant is a must-visit for all Indo-Chinese cuisine lovers.

We’ve been to this restaurant twice, after parents’ evening at our daughter’s school nearby. We’re going to have to start making the journey more often, parent evening or not! The food is exceptional and very fairly priced. We haven’t had a bad dish, but the absolute stand-out dish has been their Tai Pai paneer, which is just fantastic: crispy, spicy, with a little sweetness. It’s absolutely addictive. I also highly recommend the Chow Chu cauliflower— but everything we’ve eaten there has been wonderful!

As always, food was great, just like back home. The restaurant has a new manager, Mr. Pinaki an absolute gentleman and very attentive. If you are missing the real taste of Indo Chinese cuisine, look no further, Hakka Garden is the place.

Empty restaurant and bad food. Waste of money just to eat everything mixed up in same soya sauce . Avoid at all cost .Staff has no smile and Quality of food was low . Chef needs to be fired.

Very SUSPICIOUS that this place has such good reviews. Food was incredibly average, like that from a low-grade buffet. Steamed rice is charged at £5.50 Per Person!!! The Server (I think manager refused to let us share. £11 on rice alone. AVOID YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Was craving for some Indian Chinese food in Harrow area of London and found Hakka Garden near me. A short ten minutes bus ride took me to the doorstep and another 15 mins to get delivery though pre ordered. Ordered Cantonese Chow Mein which came like Hakka Noodles instead of pan fried. They have pan fried noodles on the menu but the servers had no knowledge, lamb chilli in soya sauce, interesting and egg fried rice. Well the craving is over and we did enjoy the meal.

We visited this restaurant for dinner last night, but unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing and felt like a waste of money. The menu options were limited, which was the first letdown. I ordered the Hakka Chicken Noodles, and it was quite ordinary, lacking any distinctive flavor. My wife chose the Kolkata Chicken, but it was overly chewy and not enjoyable. Both of my sons opted for the Cantonese Prawn Noodles, but they were very disappointed by the bland taste. In total, we spent £76.00 on our meal, but we left feeling highly disappointed with the overall experience.

Lovely time this evening under the care of Pinaki, we were transported back to Tyangra, sampling Calcutta-Chinese dishes.

I would NOT recommend this restaurant or visit again. - EXTREMELY slow service. - Some staff did not seem to understand English well. I had to repeat my questions about the menu MULTIPLE TIMES. - Average quality food. - The male waiter abruptly gave us the bill without being asked. Half of the restaurant was empty so there was no rush for us to leave. - All staff need better training on how to interact with customers. They all looked miserable on Friday night - how boring. If you work in the hospitality industry, please ACT like you enjoy your job.

We visited Hakka Garden in Harrow for the first time in early June 2024 and was delightfully surprised. A group of 20 of us, family friends, get together every month or so for Sunday lunch and one of our group had suggested Hakka Garden as they had been there before several time. It’s not easy to please 20 or so people so the coordinator organized with the restaurant for a selection of starters and main courses to hopefully satisfy everyone and everyone was very happy with the selection. For starters we had a lovely chicken dish, fried okra and a sweet corn dish and our mains included fried rice, noodles and Manchurian chicken, Manchurian vegetarian dish. There was enough food that no one went hungry either with starters or main course and aside from those having soft drinks. Pinaki, who basically looked after our table during our visit was more than happy to provide jugs of cold water and ice for no extra charge. The toilet facilities were clean and the décor in the restaurant was very pleasing on the eyes too! Free parking is available along the parade outside the restaurant as well as on the other side of the road, although it does seem to get very busy so leave enough time to secure parking if you’re planning to dine at Hakka Garden. We really enjoyed the experience at Hakka Garden, bot the ambience and the food quality and service – all were excellent and we look forward to visiting again soon! Enjoyed our meal so much that I didn’t take a lot of photos but sharing the few I did take.

Regularly order via Deliveroo. One of their staff, Pinaqi is really helpful with regards to customising the orders.

Food was cold. Kung po chicken was not nice it was cold and tasted of lemon. Noodles were freezing cold and not particularly nice. Rice was ok. Lamb in black bean sauce was nice but not very hot. Won’t order again from here.

Super Delicious food. Great ambience. Each and every dish we ate was very tasty. Must visit restaurant whenever you are in London. Pinaki took care of us all evening with his prompt service and great recommendations. A special note of thanks to the owner who personally ensured everything was on point and so it was, a fantastic dinner spread.

Fabulous dining experience with a group of friends. We were served by the fabulous Pinaki, who looked after our needs with patience and ease. Food was lovely, we really enjoyed it and look forward to dining at Hakka Garden again very soon. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Have dined here a few times recently, as all other Chinese restaurants in the area have either closed or quality of food gone down. I must say that the service and quality of food is excellent aswell as portion size.

First visit here and a bit hit and miss. They weren't offering anything on their Indian menu only Indochinese which would have been good to know at the start. I was very impressed by how much was vegan and gluten-free. Soups were amazing. The other starters were good but too similar and don't get advised about this when ordering. Ordered salt and pepper tofu and chow chu cauliflower and it's made in exactly the same way. The momos were disappointing but the veg manchurian was nice. The veg fried rice was nothing special but they tailormade a teppenyaki vegetable curry with no tofu and mushrooms and that was yum. Would try one more time and experiment with different dishes. I love tofu and they have plenty of menu items with tofu so deserves another visit.

We recently booked Hakka Garden, the newest venture by Steven Lee, for our party. We opted for buffet-style food and for us the salt & pepper fish and it's veg variant, the cauliflower tossed with roasted garlic and chillies were a greater hit than the Kolkata chilli chicken. The mains were decent though the Kolkata special fried rice really stood out for being fragrant, flavourful and good enough to be eaten without any accompaniments. However the stars of the afternoon were undoubtedly the cocktails crafted by restaurant manager Mr Pinaki Mukherjee. From the bold Black Orange to the invigorating LIT, and the absolutely delicious Lycheetini, each of Pinaki's creations were exceptional and I am looking forward to my next visit.

Absolutely stunning food but one criticism and one suggestion. Firstly customer service poor- I ordered a takeaway by phone and when I walked in no 'hello' from anyone, just a gentleman barking '£40.95' at me, then when I paid he pointed at a half open and scrunched up carrier bag balancing on a bar stool which I assumed was my food so I walked over, took it and hoped for the best. Secondly on the suggestion front, it might be worth a slight price concession on your takeaway menu as a felt my starter, soup, main course and noodles for one person takeaway, was quite expensive at £40.95. As mentioned earlier though, the food was stunning

Decent food and very quick service If you very hungry and don’t care a lot about the taste, go here! Staff and service is top notch, could do a little bit to improve the taste! But overall great!

Hakka Garden is always a delight! The flavourful food, especially the Kolkata style recipes makes every meal a joy! The atmosphere is warm with spacious sitting arrangements and the Restaurant Manager, Mr Pinaki is a welcoming and a helpful person! He does not shy away from recommending the best dishes and is very watchful about the customer’s best experience! All of it adds up in making Hakka Garden a favourite!

Loved the experience over here. Suoer delish indo-chinese dishes are served here. We had Tai oei chicken, Hakka noodles, Dry chilli chicken and Mixed Fried Rice. The manager was very caring to all the diners. The staffs are helpful too. Will visit again.

After calling the restaurant and finding out that the order was picked up half an hour ago, the driver was rude and throw the food and left. He’s reason for being late was that he was lost!!! Which is totally untrue as we saw on the map that he past our road!! By far the worst service to date. My dad is on end of life, we want him to eat what he fancies but ordering through you will never happen as this was the second time!!!
