Hakka Garden is always a delight! The flavourful food, especially the Kolkata style recipes makes every meal a joy! The atmosphere is warm with spacious sitting arrangements and the Restaurant Manager, Mr Pinaki is a welcoming and a helpful person! He does not shy away from recommending the best dishes and is very watchful about the customer’s best experience! All of it adds up in making Hakka Garden a favourite!

Loved the experience over here. Suoer delish indo-chinese dishes are served here. We had Tai oei chicken, Hakka noodles, Dry chilli chicken and Mixed Fried Rice. The manager was very caring to all the diners. The staffs are helpful too. Will visit again.

Really enjoyed our lunch we had at the restaurant. The restaurant has a very good vegetarian selection and what we ordered was very tasty. We were looked after very well by Pinaci Mukherjee who was friendly and helpful when choosing the items we could order. Service was good, food was fresh and hot. Overall very happy with the experience and will definately make it our regular place for indo-chinese food.

Heard lot about this place do had to visit. The tastes of food was good, it is not typical Chinese but it is Indo-chinese more specifically Chinese food from Kolkata. Food was good but it was in the costlier side. So I am not going to visit or recommend this place unless you only like Kolkata style Chinese food.

This is one of the better Indo-chinese restaurants that have opened up in London over the past years. The taste is very authentic, similar to what you would normally find in India. We tried chilly chicken, Kolkata fried rice and found the proportions quite generous too. The restatement manager Pinaki Mukherjee looked after us very well and also advised us on the menu selection. Will definitely return. 100% 😁

Went for a family dinner on Saturday night, wasn't too busy, didn't have to make a reservation. I heard so much about this place and the fact that they did Indo Chinese. Sad to say it was average.. we ordered for starters the hot and sour chicken soup - felt watery and didn't have a kick or much taste to it, kolkata chilli chicken - at first I thought this was good but wait till you hear about the mains. Also ordered the chicken lollipop - was average but better than some of the other indo chinese restaurants I've tried, would have been nice if they served it with a garlic tomato sauce on the side as a dip, it needed it. Steer far away from the chicken in spring onions it's just not worth it taste wise nor the money (accidental order). For mains we ordered the cantonese chicken and prawn noodles (it's shrimp!) - wasn't all that and wouldn't order it again, perhaps an improvement is to serve it with fried noodles instead of soft noodles that have been kissed by the wok. The star of the show and what I would go back for is the mains chilli chicken and egg fried rice, it took me back to my childhood in India, it's on point but £9 for egg fried rice.. I mean you don't even get charged that in central london! Overall it was an average experience which was a shame but I would maybe consider ordering the chilli chicken to go.

The best indo Chinese fusion food in London. Reminds one of Tangra flavours away from home. Excellent food with superb service makes this one of the best restaurants if fusion food is what tickles your taste buds. Chef Steven ensures absolutely authentic Indo Chinese flavour in London.

Nice place for indian spicy hakka noodle 🍜 They should put the heater on . It was very cold inside so we had to wear our jacket on

The restaurant offers a nice atmosphere but lacks in customer service. During my visit with family, the staff seemed distant. The absence of heaters and not being served water impacted the overall experience. Improvement in customer service is needed for a more enjoyable dining experience.

Probably the best indo chinese restaurant we have found in greater London area. Authentic food, very close to the ones you get in India. Portions are good, matching the pricing - each dish is £10+. Service is alright when it’s not crowded but once or twice when we visited while it’s crowded, the system breaks down and wait times were close to 60 mins to get food to table.

Food: We tried a few but the standout was - Chili Chicken: The chili chicken was a standout dish. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the sauce was spicy and addictive. Hakka Noodles: The Hakka noodles were also very good. They were cooked perfectly and had a nice flavor. Overall: I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable Kolkata-style Chinese meal. The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, and the ambiance is casual and inviting. Additional notes: Pinaki, was very helpful and able to make great recommendations based on our preferences. We were seated immediately even though we did not have a reservation. The restaurant is very clean and well-maintained.

Pinaki and Madhushree were amazingly attentive. Our wine was served chilled and in chilled glasses which many top end restaurants forget to do these days. Quite a dissappointing fare. Drove an hour and half to dine here to celebrate an occasion. We ordered 5 "different" starters. And a soup .The starters all tasted the same - salty with generous with soya sauce. The soup was fiery that we gave up on. Main course - ditto. The single rice dish we ordered was "uncooked". (Cooked rice same size as the rice grain, raw from inside). Nothing memorable about the dishes. Noodle dish again uncooked. A good 10 minutes after we Finished the main course , the staff brought the last noodle dish assuring us we had ordered it. Nevertheless serving staff were very friendly, restaurant has a nice ambience. We ended up visiting the restaurant 2 doors away for our desserts. Maybe it was just our luck that the food was just average? This review is just to flag it up to those incharge.

Amazing Indo-chinese food and great service. Nicely tucked in Queensbury, they serve authentic Kolkata Tangra style Chinese dishes. Whether it is the Dry Chilli Chicken, Crispy Cauliflower, Fish Manchurian, Egg Fried Rice or the Hakka Noodles- every item was cooked with care and perfection. We enjoyed a lot. A must visit for everyone.

I’ve dined here a few times now and the food has always been really flavourful and fresh! They hit the spot with the indochinese cuisine. I recommend the salt and pepper tofu, chilli paneer, and Manchurian. They also have a large selection of vegetarian options.

First time visiting this place. There are many seating places, friendly staff, tasty food. We liked chicken lollipops and Kolkata chilli chicken at starter - spicy and tasty. In the main course schezwan chicken noodles was good but sepo chicken curry wasn’t that great. First time was very salty. When complained, next round was better but not spicy. Quick service and easily parking available.

Overall nice experience staff well trained food by Steven was really very nice as usual every 15 days I have one visit and find food really amazing only issue is I see different staff on floor Dhruval is the one who I see since I visit all other new faces I think he is kind person he need to become manger.

We went there expecting Kolkata style Chinese cuisine, which we all miss in the UK. Did we get disappointed? I would say No! Although, I cannot hand on heart say it was like what I was expecting, but, it's near enough. A LOT better than the Chinese cuisine we usually get here. With food out of the way, the staff were polite and they knew the menu and it's ingredients. The ambience of the place was a bit rundown, but I am sure with time it will improve.Parking could be a problem as it's mostly on street or nearby residentials. Would I come back here or recommend to friends and acquaintances - YES! It was a glimpse of "Tangra" indeed!

This restaurant doesnt even deserve 1 star! First time i called to place a takeaway order....a gentleman answers the phone and behaves as if he cannot hear me saying sorry what and eventually passes me to a lady who then asks my name and asks my order....at this point i have said my order upto 15 times politely and as much as i could which was MOGO kung pao style....the lady then says sorry mam i cannot understand and then she says i will put u on with someone else...at this point quite frustrated because she can hear everything else i am saying but my order i ask why is it so difficult to place a takeaway order and why can u not understand what I am saying? I even explained this is the 1st time i am ordering with u guys and want to try ur food why am i having to be passed to multiple colleagues for a simple takeaway order?! The lady then apologised and said i am not able to know what u are ordering or something to that affect so i asked her if she needed to look at the menu to which she said no...so i asked to speak to a manager and then when the manager came on the phone i again explained what i was calling for and at this point thinking of not bothering!! Then he explained that his staff are sick and they are both new staff....which isnt really my issue sorry to say and if they are answering the phone they should know the menu ATLEAST!!! He then accused me of lying saying they tried to explain that they were new and i at this point am fuming with hanger u could call it!! I mean i gave them a chance and i wasnt loud or rude just a little annoyed but calm and no point did they explain they were new!!! And after all that directly said i will be putting this review up and no longer want to order!!! I mean for a 1st time i ended up spending 20 mins on the phone trying to order a takeaway and ended up with NO FOOD!!! i would NOT bother with this place really a waste of time and money!!

travelled 20 mins to pickup the Terrible takeout service and zero customer support… I got my dish changed for something else to what I ordered. When I called them they admitted that the order was wrong. I kindly requested them as a goodwill gesture to give me a discount at next take out. Instead they said no to my request. The girl I spoke to was nice but has no power to assist the customers and the manager outrightly said no.. big put off as customer service is a major front for this business

An authentic Indo Chinese (Bengali Chinese) restaurant in London. The flavors and aromas of the dishes will take you for a ride towards the memory lane of Kolkata Chinese food. The quality and quantity both are well maintained. There is a parking place infront of the restaurant and service was really good. A must try restaurant if you are craving for Indian Chinese.

Loved the food. Very disappointed that the service charge of 12.5% don't seem to be getting shares with waiting staff. Went again and the food has gone downhill. Same was noted by other friends who went there recently. Shame that I have had to downgrade the star rating..

Although this restaurant had good reviews my experience with them was really bad for a takeaway with a 30 minute travel(because of the good reviews) hence the disappointment and the 1 star. I had ordered few dishes for a takeaway however they had missed to keep an item which I found out after reaching home. They had offered an apology and mentioned to address it with an additional COMPLIMENTARY item the next time. A few weeks later I referred back to this and ordered 2 dishes for takeaway(1. Replace the previously missed dish - COMPENSATION, 2. Another COMPLIMENTARY dish which they told) but on collection they have provided the same dish again as COMPLIMENTARY and charged for the extra 2 dishes which I had ordered. On checking, they told me that their understanding of COMPLIMENTARY is re-providing the same dish again that I forgot 2 weeks back which essentially they owe me the money for. SLOW CLAPS. Never going to visit them again. Bad customer experience and service.

Awful service. Waiters did not get the order right more or less with each dishes. It is hospitality business but they paid no attention whatsoever. Extremely pathetic service. We specifically ordered few items strictly requested NO ONION, No Garlic and No spring onion but every dish came with garlic. We waited for fried rice even we literally finished our most food but it didn’t come. At last we have to asked again!

The best Indo Chinese restaurant I have been to so far. Their starters were amazing and no complaints at all. Portions were good enough. Each dish ranges between 6-10£. And would cost 25£ pp for a drink,starter and a main course. Plenty of street parking available. Pre booking is essential if it’s a weekend as it’s not a very nice place.

If you love Indo-Chinese food, then this place is a must visit. Chef/owner Steven Lee prepared Cantonese noodles for us on request. This was one of the best Cantonese noodles I have ever had. Apart from that we tried Kolkata chilli chicken, Kolkata fried rice...
