Visited this place on Sunday, had a lovely evening with my family. Food very nice, first time had indo Chinese. The manager is very very nice, so friendly and welcoming. Definately coming back again for food and service..

Great hospitality and warm welcome, ended up spending almost 4 hours for our dinner. Will definitely be back!

Brilliant food. Good sized portion. Genuinely authentic indo Chinese cuisine. Transported me back to my hometown, Kolkata.

We went on New Years Eve, the music was uncomfortably loud and the ambience was horrible. They did not serve us food for one hour 45 minutes. Service was slow and finally as we could not sit there anymore we got our food packed. There was no salt in manchurian Terrible experience

Had an amazing experience at Hakkaland. Ambiance, Service, Food, friendliness all were very really good. Highly recommend Lamp chops. We requested for extra spicy food and it was cooked to perfection. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of their menu. If you're looking for great food and a memorable dining experience, this is the place to go!

Authentic Indo Chinese food.Tai Pai paneer was amazing.Egg fried rice was just like they do it in Mumbai. Went on a Friday evening but it wasn't busy at first,but became busy later on. Friendly and efficient service. A must go to restaurant for good food.

It has good service but but please schezwan noodle is different but u added chilli oil in noddles

We are regular customers of Hakkaland. The staff is friendly, and the Indo-Chinese food is amazing.

Had dinner here today with my family. Food was average, nothing special at all. I believe you can get much better food for the price. However, what bugged us the most is the behaviour of the women who we think is the manager. She came across rude and arrogant. Wasn't very welcoming at all. As for rest of the staff, they were very nice!

The chilli chicken and Manchurian were virtually identical, with the same curry base, except for a few chillies thrown on top. The hot and sour soup was far too watery and lacked depth. The spicy noodles were disappointing too, with raw chilli flakes scattered throughout. To top it off, the portion sizes were far too small for the price charged.

Went for the first time to this restaurant and will be the last was so disappointed in the service ...after being seated had to get the attention of the waiter to order a drink 15 mins we was sitting there. Placed order which was a shambles as one of the party did not receive there dish came out after we had started eating what shocked us was the steam that was coming of the food as if had just pinged out of the microwave then one dish was hot on outside cold in the centre. The staff have no customer service skills so we refused to pay the service charge. Would not recommend

Virgin mojito is very nice soy chilli fish and tepoan soba noodles are top notch level really loved the food And lovely customer service 100 percent recommended 💯❤️

Went there for team dinner, but service was pathetic, there were 2 girls who was taking order and serving food, they were so rude didn’t had manner to take order properly. For this type of service, we refused to pay service tax, for that they mocked us.

Today we went for dinner at hakkaland with my team, food taste was good but the service was worst, staff was very rude, didn’t even served the water, when we asked for it they made faces, the girl in green shirt today was the rudest I suggested this place to my team and was disappointed

The food is amazing . I was greeted by the Manager Villy who was an absolute delight to talk to and made me and my Partner welcome, professional and friendly service.

I had a pleasant experience at Hakkaland. The food was delicious. and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. I’d also like to mention Villy, our server, who was polite and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed during our visit. Overall, it’s a good spot for a relaxed meal with friendly service.

I visited Hakkaland with my family for dinner, hoping for an enjoyable experience. However, upon arrival, we were deeply disappointed by the lack of basic hospitality. Despite the restaurant being empty, no staff greeted us, and two waiters walked past without acknowledging our presence. After waiting for approximately five minutes with no assistance or attention, we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. The customer service was extremely poor, which is particularly disappointing given that we had planned to place a substantial order. It’s unfortunate that such disregard for patrons marred what could have been a promising dining experience.

Food was very nice and serving was fantastic as well.

I recently had the pleasure of trying authentic Chinese food at Hakkaland restaurant, and I must say, it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were bold and robust, and every dish was cooked to perfection. I especially loved the egg rice, soy fish,and they had a variety of steamed dishes that were bursting with flavor. The chicken was also a standout, with just the right amount of spice and heat. Overall, I was very impressed with manager Villy, the quality and authenticity of the food, and I will definitely be returning for more. I highly recommend trying authentic Chinese food for a truly unforgettable dining experience at Hakkaland.

This Friday I was with my friends to celebrate his birthday in Hakkaland and have dinner. He loved it and was amazed. Thank you hakkaland for making his birthday memorable.

Quite possibly the worst home delivered meal we’ve ever had. We ordered 7 different dishes and had we been in the restaurant we would have returned six of them and demanded a refund before leaving. The hakka noodles were ordered with shrimp - the shrimp was translucent, which to me implies that it requires more cooking. The noodles themselves were completely over-salted. The Soy Chili Beef was probably the worst dish of all - once again, completely over-salted but also the beef was so overcooked that even if you wash off the sauce from the beef it was like chewing rubber. Many of the other dishes either lacked any discerable flavour or were cold. The hot and sour soup, was just hot, there was no element of sour - did they forget to add the vinegar?? The chicken fried rice is simply basmati rice with tiny cube of chicken, it is very dry and no effort has been made to combine the ingredients in a tasty way. The Chicken 65 was simply terrible, it looked stale and tasted even worse. All in all, one of the most disappointing meals, we've ever had.

Food was good apart from crispy okra, which was salty. Drinks took ages. My drink came after halfway through eating the food. 1st plate arrived, and the others arrived 5/ 7 minutes later. Don't understand why resturants cannot bring drinks before the food starts coming and why not bring the food together instead these ridiculous long wait. Came to pay they say card machine not working, cash only. They could have mentioned this before we even sat down. What would they have done if we didn't have alot of cash. Will not be visiting again even though the food was ok. The experience was enough to put me off

I have been big fan of this restaurant. However, now i feel the standard has dropped taste doesn’t satisfy anymore. Service isn’t great they forgot our food and we had remind it. It could do better

Trust me , in no exaggeration I truly felt that this is no doubt the best indo chinese restaurant in London. Can’t believe I could find some such great food in harrow. Must try Hakka noodles and Bombay paneer tikka. I am sure non veg would be equally good but for a start I tasted vegetarian stuff. Amazing chef and amazing food.

This is the best Indo-Chinese I've had Outside of India. The Chef/s should get brownie points for their dishes which clearly shows their experience. Have once and you will comeback again and again.. 👍

The food was delicious, I especially recommend the Tai Pai chicken, chilli chicken gravy, Hakka noodles and Bombay chilli paneer. The service was great, with very responsive and helpful servers. I highly recommend coming here.

It’s the best desi Chinese in London if you are craving something like Chinese you have in Pakistan this is a must try . My favourite place.

I'm sad to see this once fantastic restaurant has gone downhill. Service was extremely slow, despite a couple of the owner/managers just whiling away their time at the bar while the rest of the understaffed waiters were running around. Took them 25 mins to get us glasses for water, ages to take an order, a long wait to clear the dishes and this was the case with all the other tables who were also waiting for the staff to show up. The food was great in spurts like the manchow soup, fried rice and lollipops. The rest of the dishes were average. The ambience had also gone down, with the corridors dark and dingy and toilets also clearly neglected. Seems like the owners have lost interest or changed hands with someone who is not really bothered in providing customer experience. _----_-------------------- This was my previous review from a few years ago, clearly when it was a great place to go. Loved it. The food was very good. The Kolkata chilli chicken and lollipops wee excellent. The sweet corn chicken soup was good. Ordered a few mains the Hakka noodles were the best, Manchurian and Sapo chicken we're good, but the Kung po chicken was so much better than what we've had elsewhere. Great choice of drinks and cocktails. The Mango Schezuan was very unusual but excellent. Overall a fantastic experience helped by considerate staff and great ambience
