The best restaurants in South Acton Ealing London

Have eaten here several times as we enjoy the food a lot. Replacing the Lebanese(?) eatery that used to have this location, Lura serves up Italian food. So far everything I tried is great. Lura's chicken caesar salad is maybe the best I have eaten and that tends to be what we always eat now that the weather is hot. I enjoy that with a glass or two of chilled Prosecco. We must eat at weird times as they place always seems empty. But, perhaps it's much more busy in the evening when they have live music downstairs. A comfortable, cool place to watch folks pass by on Uxbridge Road.

We had a fantastic time at The Windmill! The atmosphere was lovely, we felt very well taken care of - cocktails were delicious, servings so big we barely managed to have everything despite the meals being delicious. The servers were so friendly and attentive. And best of all - it was so calm and homely we felt relaxed after an evening in a pub. I couldn't recommend it enough!

We have been to this restaurant a few times before and the food has always been good. Went for lunch with our young children last Saturday. There was only one waiter for the entire restaurant. He took our orders (katsu curry, rice, sashimi) after 15 minutes of waiting. The sashimi and rice came after 20 minutes but the curry never came. We were very patient and waited for a whole HOUR!!! We asked the waiter and he just kept making excuses (clearly they forgot the order). No apologies at all from the waiter. We decided to leave and they had the audacity to ask for payment. W asked to speak with the manager who said he was too busy to attend to us. VERY POOR experience and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone.

Went here with my son for a post haircut meal and was very impressed by the service and food. Very kind and caring and food was exceptional. Buttermilk burger was sublime and kids meal was perfectly portioned.

Great food fresh and very clean will be going again in November when back in London The stew full of flavour good night out !

Stopped here for dinner as a family member loves Greek cuisine. It was quiet so seated and served immediately. Did not have long to wait for the food. The restaurant was clean and tidy, and the service was very nice. Our waitress was friendly. The food was very nice and good sized portions. And all four of us enjoyed it very much. We were interrupted by some random drunk guy ranting how much he hated London, but was quickly ushered out! It was nice to sit and eat a nice meal whilst the world walked by. I would go here again if in the area and would recommend it for others to try if you have never had Greek cuisine before.

This is the 2.time its says its open people sitting inside but the door its closed and on the door says “We are close” Been more times before coffee was good.

Mi pareja y yo conseguimos el pollo de Sammy casi cada quince días y siempre disfrutamos de una buena alimentación de pollo delicioso. Las alas picantes son geniales y también nos gustan sus envolturas peri peri. Buena comida a un buen precio. ??

Visited for a funeral wake. The staff were very warm and welcoming to all at this sad time which was the family local. There is a large selection of beers available and two TVs to watch sport. Places to sit outside and smoke if necessary

This place is not very famous, elegant... but owners is friendly and polite, and food is good quality and a lot of quantity :)

This restaurant closed down long time ago! It was one of the best places to visit in Ealing

Hard to find a good Chinese restaurant, this definitely exceeded our expectations. Food was delicious and piping hot, service was great and restaurant was really busy which is always a good sign!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE we waited almost an hour for our order from via JustEat and just before it was supposed to get delivered the restaurant randomly cancelled the order!! With no call or nothing. Despicable service.
