Karaam Lebanese Catering in Ealing

This restaurant closed down long time ago! It was one of the best places to visit in Ealing

Karaam Lebanese Catering recently catered my wedding and all I can say is 5 stars is not enough. From our first phone call Raef put me at ease with clear, concise information about their wedding menu and instilled me with confidence that they would deliver a top class catering experience. And they delivered! The food was fantastic, with some guests even admitting to having a third portion! Raef and his team went above and beyond on the day. They were attentive to the needs of our guests and especially to those with specific allergies so everyone was able to enjoy the meal. With leftovers Raef even took the initiative to source some disposable platters so the remaining food could be left for guests to enjoy later. Even more impressively was their almost ninja like set up and break down with limited space and minimal disruption. If you are looking for top quality Lebanese food with service to match I can't recommended Karaam enough!

I have eaten at Karaam several times now and can recommend their lunchtime menu as a nice alternative option. The service is always friendly, the food is good, the atmosphere very pleasant for a lunchtime natter and catch-up and all at a very affordable price. I particularly like the Lamb Shawarma Meal, which comes with a generous portion of lamb, two salads including fattoush, humous, falafel, a tasty little pastry and plenty of flat breads.

Great tasting food. Reasonable priced. Update: It'd been a while since I had last visited here. The new (maybe always existing) name is Leila and it's really amazing. I'm upgrading my last review to 5 stars cause its completely worth it. The food is really outstanding and tastes fresh. Great service too.

Horrible food not even close to Lebanese food

The boneless baby chicken and rice is great!

DO NOT buy stuffed vine leaves from there. The rice is horribly old. It's not fresh. Chips too oily, too old. Lamb shawarma is good. Otherwise everything else is quite disappointing.

Nice Lebanese food...can get take away but it's a restaurant ..takes quite long to prepare the food

My girls and I came in for a dinner on a Saturday night about 6pm. We were immediately greeted and welcomed by a young man. He told us the whole restaurant was ours and that we could sit wherever we liked. We ordered a platter of starters which were generously big in portion and taste which was in correlation. Young man would always approach us to ask if we needed anything and if the food was Ok, The main course was delicious especially the Taouk. Overall i would recommend this to everyone looking for friendly service and exceptional food. Me and the young man had a conversation about lebanon and the problems in lebanon, overall the service was exceptional, manager trained great staff if they can hold conversations with customers like that

Amazing food, good price, service isn't quite up to scratch

Excellent food and service. We used a Groupon voucher and received a set menu of very well balanced and top quality food. We had considered what we liked beforehand and were given just about everything we liked. It was a delightful experience in a relaxed atmosphere.

Humus was good, kebab was average and service was not attentive

Amazing deals for groups when asked

Two waiters who had apparently started working there 3 days ago served us, both were confused that we wanted to order from the set menu. Starters were ok, main course was basically kebab meat with chips and some weakly marinated chicken with non descript rice. I would be surprised if what we ate was a true reflection of Lebanese cuisine, won't be going back in a hurry.

Had a groupon deal for 8mezze with wine. That was plenty of delicious food and we took rest for take away. The staff were nice and helpfull. The place was completely empty though which makes a bad impression. The toilet also was not working which is weird. All toghether nice place

I am very surprised at all those people that gave this place good reviews , I went to have lunch today and ordered some starter the cubed potato was full of oil I called the waiter he said that's how this dish is made to which I said not really and asked him to take it back not once he said I'll ask the chef ( if they have one)to make another one, the food I ordered I left it all as the food here is stale old and reheated nothing tasted fresh the chicken Shawarma was stale and dry looked like they heated it up after taking it out from the fridge after 3to 4 days, at this stage I asked the waiter to get me bill, I got up and went to the counter to pay and get the he'll out of this place, ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE FOOD HERE AVOID THIS PLACE

Really good food, everything freshly made. We enjoyed the sharing platter for two (meat-mixed). Great value - simply couldn't finish. Lamb and chicken were juicy and had a lovely texture. Father in law enjoyed an Ocra dish - again lovely sized portions. Service friendly and allowed us plenty of time to chat between courses. Would definitely come again.

The food is average at best, their plates are cracked, mold on the bathroom walls and the staff has no notion of customer service.

First time I went to karaam was 4 years ago and I really didn't like the food. I am Lebanese myself and I know what certain things are meant to taste like. I thought I'd give it another go last week as it still hadn't shut down so I assumed it was doing something right... Unfortunately I was terribly wrong. Food was of the same low standard as it was 4 years ago. The Warak enab (vine leaves) had horrible stuffings. The chicken was dry and bland. The chicken portion was small. I wouldn't recommend it at all especially as there are lots of other lovely tasty restaurants around in Ealing. We ordered Fatayer and they came with Falafel instead. When we told them these aren't for us they didn't think to double check our order... We never did receive the Fatayer. At this late stage into our meal we didn't want them as we knew the standard of the food was very low so we decided to not have them at all. Stay far away!

Tried out Karaam for the first time yesterday as a takeout. Was impressed with the quality of the food at a reasonable price. The lamb shawarma was delicious - meat had good texture and bite as well as flavour (unlike chewy stringy meat found in other well known eat outs). The chips were also great with nice cuts of potatoes. I was also impressed by the fact that you make your own authentic chilli sauce, which I've struggled to find in a few Lebanese restaurants in the past around West London. The only negative is that I was told 5 minutes for my takeaway over the phone, but took around 15 minutes longer when I arrived at the restaurant. Not a big deal, but with heavily restricted parking around Ealing, would have appreciated a more realistic time. However the manager I assume that dealt with my order was very friendly and polite. I will definitely be returning in the future to try out some of your other dishes!

Their lunchtime menu is amazing, such tasty food and great value, one of the best lunches in Ealing. Try the falafel meal: falafel, dolmades, salad, tabouleh, fatayer, and hummus. Sana is a lovely waitress, very helpful and always willing to accommodate our requests for more chilli sauce! Highly recommended.

I was really hungry and wanted something wholesome for lunch one day and my friend suggested we try Karaams. I ordered a shish meal for 7.50 , expecting a large platter of food. Instead, the food took 20 minutes to prepare and what arrived was 4 small pieces of meat with humus smeared next to it , a small tabouleh with one tiny samosa. We got two small pitta breads to share between us, i requested for more and 10 minutes later nothing came to our table so i had to request the second time for the bread. Do not go here if you are looking for good quantity in terms of what you pay, 7.50 should get you more than what i received else where. The food was OK but simplistic and you can get bigger portions for the same price else where in Ealing and London.

We called to reserve a table through tastecard and were told the restaurant was fully booked.. fair enough. We still went at the requested time and surprise surprise we got a seat straight away. And there were other available tables too.. We ordered quickly and our starters were served within a few mins and our mains while we were still eating our starters. Half way through the meal we had to remind the waiter about our drinks. I have visited this place in the past and I can honestly say that standards have slipped. A lot! I don't think I will return.

This place is great. The lunch menus are cheap and you will not be left hungry . Staff are friendly and polite.

Really great authentic Lebanese food. Large portions if you order from the main menu. Best hummus in London from my point of view. Tasted just like the stuff I used to have in Syria.

I love this restaurant and love the food too. Went for my birthday and had a good time! Do not be put off by the bad reviews seriously good food and good customer service! Will be back there soon hopefully.

Amazing food they came to our office and provided a Corporate lunch which was a great success. Very Nice staff who were very helpful. 10/10

Do not use Karaam for caterers. We used them as caterers for our wedding reception and was reassured by their manager that they would be able to meet our catering needs, that there would be plenty of food and that there would be one waiter per 2 tables...Unfortunately this was a complete lie - most of our guests did not receive all the starters in the first sitting. When they went to ask for seconds or for food they hadn't received they were told there was none available. They did not receive the full complement of desserts that we had paid for and there were a total of 5 waiters for 22 tables which meant our guests had to wait for ages to get drinks. It was an abismal experience and put a real downer on our reception.

Flying visit today. Great food, really friendly staff and generally a warm and friendly place. Will be back.
