Aces across the board for Copita!
From the moment we walked in, until we left - we felt the love from the chefs, bartenders and staff at Copita.
We wanted to enjoy great food, some wine and have the ability to talk with the rest of our party - and boy did it hit home.
Many great dishes to share, great starter cocktails as well as great wine to choose from - to make the whole night come together. We had many different dishes but two of our highlights were the Ox cheek and goat cheese truffle!
We finished off with the Basque Cheesecake - W0W is all we have to say.
The team at Copita deserves all the praise they have collected over the years and hopefully we return again in the future!
Topa!!
Nice bar. It has a great menu of cocktails, but it feels far from the fame it used to have during Alex Kratena days. Excellent service, nice ambience. 👍
Maybe It's my personal taste, but I didn't enjoy these hamburgers. They were too done on the outside. Fries were also a bit too charred for my taste. Service was nice and the place is well decorated, but the food didn't surprise or fascinate me.
Amazing restaurant, was ment to go nandos but my friend insisted on going here. The food is amazing value, great quality and the staff are really attentive and helpful
The Oval has been our go to local whilst living near Selhurst (it’s not the closest, but definitely worth the walk) The choice of beer is good and the roast was amazing, Yorkshires were 👌 the beer garden is lovely and they have heaters and some areas are covered.
We've tried several pizzas all around the local and surrounding areas, and this is by far one of the best. We keep coming back and have been for years. We usually go for takeaway and love the thin base with the doughy crust - so soft, airy, and consistently good every time.
Sadly I took a close business associate to this restaurant on the recommendation of Trip Advisor
We had travelled all day from different cities to different hotels to meet at the About Thyme Restaurant it was very closed and so far we have been told it has been that way for many months
May I suggest that TA keeps their records up to date as with most technology it is driven by humans and is only as good as the information that is put in
This was a very expensive mistake
Obviously in future I will always check that TA is accurate
I have always enjoyed TA and intend doing so in the future but please update your records
I had booked out a private room (the Love Room) for my sister's hen do. The email correspondence was really efficient and clear throughout the booking process, and when I had to email updates on people dropping out and orders, it seemed no hassle. There were a few special dietary requirements in the party and Brigit's catered for all of these including gluten-free and Halal (not all places I researched would do this). A few of us were able to go down to the room about half an hour before our booking slot to set up, which I was really grateful for. The tables had already been set up with teacups and pink serviettes and it all looked very pretty. We were able to hang some bunting up and place props and quizzes on the chairs and a photo frame on the table. We were only asked that we did not use any confetti which was perfectly reasonable. The service throughout our stay was really good, and they checked when we wanted our scones to come out which was good as it allowed us 15 minutes to play the quizzes without any interruptions. Even though our booking was 1-3pm, we ended up being there until 3:30pm so there was no rush or urgency in getting us out which was appreciated. There was not much additional decor required as the decor was already so pretty - perfect hen do girly vibes. Everyone really enjoyed their afternoon teas and commented about how lovely the bakery was. We had toilets just round the corner from our room which was also very convenient and we felt we had complete privacy away from the other rooms. Once everyone had arrived the staff brought us all a glass of orange juice which was a nice touch while we settled in, and then came back to take our hot drink orders. A few of us had a glass of prosecco which followed. I thought the selection of sandwiches and cakes was really good and it was all very filling - I was glad the scones weren't any bigger so I could finish mine! Most of us took some cakes home in a takeaway pink box - it was great that they accommodated this. All in all I thought the afternoon teas were good value for money and I would definitely recommend booking out the Love Room for a hen do! It ended up being perfect for what we had envisaged. We had 13 people (originally meant to be 15) and the room accommodated us all nicely and we essentially had one long table. We had a handy chair tucked away in the corner as well for everyone to leave their coats and bags. We were able to take lots of nice and aesthetic photos during our stay thanks to the lovely, girly decor. This included the main door outside to the street before we went inside - there was a Valentine's flower arch which was beautiful and we took photos of the bride-to-be here. Thank you Brigit's Bakery for having us all for the special occasion and I will definitely be back for an afternoon tea at some point and will consider doing one of the bus tours in future!
