Miriam's Munchies served the best coffee in London for six years and wonderful, freshly made cakes. Sadly, they have left Station Road. Don’t get me wrong, but this is the only true artisan place in Harrow. The best coffee - iced late is absolutely amazing. If you’re looking for a quality, tasty & nature friendly food&drinks - this the perfect place. Also, a really lovely staff. I do think that enterier should get a more urban/modern look once when we get to postpandemic era. Thank you MM, stay No1!

I love this place. Food is top notch. Always tasty. Vegan options. Lovely atmosphere and good service. Expensive but absolutely worth it. Always enjoy being here and read my book.

This little place absolutely saves harrows dismal highstreet. The staff are always lovely and the food/drinks are amazing. Having this down the road from where I live is fabulous

I come to Harrow On The Hill quite regularly to visut a cluent and rexently discovered this nice, light, airy and friendly cafe. First class coffee, lovely cakes, snaks and a nice "light" menu of dishes. I now always try to arrive early for appointments to allow time to drop in.

I've tried here twice. I like the concept and the friendly service. They have great ingredients but the coffee is poor. It's not rich and strong but bitter. I wanted to give it a better score but I feel obliged to be honest. The jams and chutneys on sale look delicious.

This cafe has awful service. Staff were impolite and hostile. Will not be visiting again. I was drawn to the place from these reviews but my experience was terrible.

I ordered a variety of 4 different flavoured cupcakes for my work colleagues. Cathy and her staff were very helpful and professional. The feedback from my colleagues was that the cupcakes were a lovely light texture and that they tasted very delicious. I will definitely be placing future orders.

Great food, super friendly relaxed service! The cakes are amazing. Would recommend the iced latte and the fruit polenta cake.

I needed to wait somewhere as I was early for a meeting. Popped in for a cup of fresh coffee and a truly delicious slice of Victoria sponge. I can't recommend this cafe highly enough. Bright and modern decor and a locally run business. 5 stars!

I've been here several times and can recommend the homemade soups, sandwiches and the cakes. The bakewell pastries are particularly delicious. The cafe has lots of natural light and has a relaxing atmosphere.

A friendly cafe staff are really good, great smiles, and the cafe itself is small yet cosy and somehow private everyone is quite close to each other it still works. There is plenty of light coming into the cafe which really helps.

I have been in and ordered cup cakes and other slices of cake - everyone I have given them to love them - and hopefully end up as customers ! Although they are out of the main town they are always busy as I am sure their reputation preceeds them

Exceptionally slow service. Had to be reminded about order. Surly waitress. Run out of various items. Overcharged. Given wrong change when asked for refund. Rude staff. Nothing special about sandwich or coffee. Won’t be going again.

I enjoy going to the cafe as it has great quality coffee (Monmouth) and fresh bakery bites. I found they also make cakes for occasions with options such as vegan / non vegetarian. I didn’t want a vegan cake but wanted a cake without egg. Emailed Miriam’s on a Monday as I needed it for Saturday , they were quick to respond and informed me both were possible.

A lovely place for breakfast/brunch, friendly service and good coffee. Relaxing atmosphere for an informal team meeting.

The Harrow area is replete with coffee houses and cafes but this one takes some beating. It is for veggies. Lunch of minestrone soup and a toasted cheese and tomato sandwich was simple but truly tasty. The cafe is a bakery and the cakes on display are too good to miss. The place is small and a little spartan but so worth it.

although not the largest space or menu, the focus is on quality rather than range....

We have ordered 3 cakes from Miriam’s munchies. As both our boys have egg and dairy allergies our options in the local area for birthday cakes were limited until I discovered Miriam’s Munchies. This will be our family go to place for all future occasions. Thank you very much to the friendly staff for their wonderful service.

Ordered a vegan/chocolate birthday cake...the cake was absolutely scrumptious!!! So moreish and delish! This is now my go-to bakery!

We ordered our wedding cake from Miriam's Munchies. It was beautiful both in appearance and taste (a very yummy chocolate cake with buttercream icing). The team delivered the cake to our wedding venue and added flowers supplied by our florist. It was an absolute delight to work with Miriam's Munchies. We also enjoy visiting the cafe for delicious coffee and great treats. A wonderful addition to Harrow.

Miriam's always has delicious sandwiches, soups and a wide range of herbal teas, cakes and coffees. Great service and loads of books an magazines to read whilst eating. They also sell local honey, jams etc. Highly recommended.

cake is good but the service is horrendous I was given 3 different prices and not much help. they took my money and never even replied when i asked for a partial refund for a WRONG ORDER. i would never go back....

One of the nice place in Harrow on the Hill, My first time impression was 'Must Try Cake' this time was only one gluten free cake so I tried have a slice of salted caramel cake. I love to visit for a gluten free cake the next.

I must say that I was very pleased with the service that was rendered to my daughter when she popped in to order her cake. Her last minute requests were attended to and all allergies were taken care of. The result was a beautiful delicious chocolate cake exactly as she envisioned it - which was just the "icing"we needed for the celebration we recently had . Thanking you would be saying the least .. We were bumbling along in Harrow and fancied a little stop off for coffee when this place caught our eye. It's a fantastic light space with great staff and it's not pretentious or over priced. Well worth a visit.

Just been today, wife and I had sourdough grilled sandwich and focaccia. Plus a mocha coffee and cappuccino. All of it excellent, delivered in warm , friendly manner. This place deserves to do well and it will! If you want a cake or lunch which is absolutely top quality, this is the place for you. It's vegetarian with style.Well done!

I popped in early this morning. I had a sandwich recommended which sounded nice. I went with it and had it for lunch at 12.30pm. Best sandwich (mozzarella, sundried tomato, rocket and pesto on sour dough). ..kept me going until end of my work day!M&S sandwiches never do that!Thank you, I will return...ocassionally

Without question the most charming cafe in the Harrow area. Fabulous food and friendly service. The baked goods are outstanding.

This lovely cafe is a bit off the main high streets, but it is just a couple of minutes walk from Harrow Town Centre. They have a small but really nice selection of sandwiches and yummy cakes, portions are not huge but the food is truly enjoyable.The owner is very nice too and it's a great spot for people watching.

This nice little cafe is off the beaten track for shoppers, but ideal for nearby office workers and commuters. We stopped here for a coffee & snack on the way to visiting family nearby.It's a calm space with modern wooden tables inside and out as well as a window counter space with a view to the street. The friendly staff make specialty coffees using an Italian style machine. We also had the chocolate cake & a cupcake which were both very tasty. There were plenty of choices of other cakes and sandwiches, all freshly made on the premises and nicely presented.Miriam's Munchies also sell gourmet, organic coffee, bread and preserves to take home.Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

A lovely little place on the way to Harrow on the Hill Station. Super range of cakes which are baked in the store, very hard to choose. They also had light lunch items such as sandwiches available, but I didn't try them this time. The cake and coffee I did have were both excellent. Friendly welcoming service. Not many seats available, but I was on my own so easily found a seat at the large table to the side. Nice to find somewhere in Harrow that isn't all burgers etc. I will be going back soon.

This is a new arrival Breakfast / Lunch café in Harrow. A bit away from town centre but worthwhile travelling distance to this place. Bright and comfortable place. Nice staff with great smile and always find welcoming. The best part is they are able to accommodate all sorts of allergen requirements. I am a Diabetic myself and on my request they made me a fruit cake without any added sugar. It was great. Highly recommended.

Walked past Miriam's while looking for a nice cafe in Harrow, not the easiest task!! Popped in as it looked nice and the staff were extremely friendly. We had home made soup and focaccia, which was all delicious. Well worth a visit.

Was passing by Harrow today and stopped by for a coffee, but was immediately tempted by the wide range of delicious baked goods on the counter. As I was struggling to make my mind up the lovely girl at the counter suggested an AMAZING chocolate caramel pecan brownie. It was just perfect. I had that with a mocha which was also excellent. Pity I don't live in Harrow or I would be in this place all the time!

Miriam's Munches is an Artisan cake baker in Harrow! Wonderful cakes if that is what you want - but also a great vegetarian cafe in Harrow for lunch - a changing menu based on seasonal food - and as mentioned, finish it off with a wonderful slice of cake!

I disagree with the reviewer below about the coffee and the service - I've been here a few times since it opened and have had a great experience every time. I was particularly excited about the fact that Miriam's Munchies serve Monmouth coffee and it definitely hasn't disappointed! Much better than the alternatives on offer in Harrow. The cakes here are also great - as someone with a gluten intolerance, there is lots of choice and the portions are very generous. It's not cheap, but definitely worth it. There's free wifi as well, so it makes for a great place to work.

We had a wonderful cake made to order for my wife's birthday party, looked and tasted wonderful. On another occasion we had delicious lemon cake. If you need a cake for a special occasion or just for a treat, this is the place to go to.

We've been buying cakes from Miriam Munchies at various Farmer's markets over the years, long before they opened the Harrow bakery. The cakes are always yummy. Most recently, we bought a flat of chocolate brownies and marbled cheesecake to share with friends at a party. Everyone enjoyed the baked goods and asked where we'd gotten them from. There were none left at the end of the evening. We'll definitely be going back for more!

We were keen to try Miriam's Munchies as it's nice to support local businesses rather than the coffee shop chains. However, we were disappointed for several reasons:The cakes were over-priced for the size of slice given and didn't taste any better than those offered elsewhere.The person making the coffees didn't know how to work the machine properly. My husband ordered a small black coffee (not too difficult an order!), we thought the cup was a good size for a small cup but it turned out he'd been given a large cup and was charged accordingly - this wasn't good customer service as it wasn't what he had asked for. My latte was incredibly strong and not well made - but at least it was the right size!The staff (including the owner) weren't particularly friendly.We won't bother returning as there are better options elsewhere in Harrow.
