We didn’t get off to a great start. We were asked today to move our 730pm to 7pm booking as they were now planning to close early. We were the only table and sadly I felt like we were an inconvenience throughout. Food - Sadly my chicken was bland and the potatoes were rock hard. I tried to catch the attention of the waitress for some time. Eventually she came over. I explained that the dauphinois potatoes were really dry and hard but no alternative offered. In my humble opinion it was heated from frozen. We had one drink each. No checking back to the group for other drinks / more water/ anything needed. Then probably about half nine the lights were brutally lifted up to ‘ inform ‘ us that we now needed to leave. We didn’t make a fuss .. paid the bill and left. … it’s a shame because the restaurant itself is beautiful but cutting corners and really poor customer service will probably mean only there will be one table in there again … and it won’t have us sitting there.

Another great evening at Haus - 9 of us out for my Daughter's Birthday. Really went to town on ordering and all was so good. Prawn toast is perfect! Sushi so nice too. Teriyaki Ribeye one of our faves as was full rack of ribs but all dishes great. Lovely cocktails - our fave is the Lychee Blossom. Fab atmosphere and lovely service! Decor is wonderful too. Thanks to Jason & his team

Three of us had this week's non veggie meal and were happy with just about everything. The delivery was spot on, the food was hot - obviously freshly prepared - and the meal was good and tasty. We are big eaters so could have done with slightly larger portions but next time we will add some extras. I found it tricky to order for 3 - perhaps the method could be made more transparent. I look forward to trying this service again in the not too distant future. They deserve success.

I went for dinner at Judges with my husband and 2 little girls to celebrate Mother's day (a day early 🙂) Wow the food truly amazing!!! Me and my husband had the ribeye steak (both cooked medium rare) The steak just melted in our mouths, I would say, one of the best steaks I have had! Hats off to the chef who cooked the steaks! My family also loved their food! My Lychee Martini was lush😍 The magician was a nice touch, my girls were mesmerized by the tricks, amazing! The service was great! Thank you for making it a lovely evening out with my family🙂

Total RUBBISH. Worse Indian restaurant. Sitting next to a damp wall with flaking paint . Chicken had no flavour and bit tuff . Dips for the poppodoms were cheap rubbish. This place was rip off . How this place survives in Cuffley, we do not know So expensive, ££££ . they hand write the bill so you can’t read it STAY AWAY !!!!! I lived in cuffley for 30 years , this place should have closed 30 years ago Want a bit of advice, drive to Ware Go to NEELAKASH , it’s on the corner , Or get the Indian takeaway from M AND S 🥶

We've used this pub as a ramble lunch stop a few times, as well as this one. Staff helpful when I made the booking - and on our arrival, nearly an hour early! This was because we'd come by train to Potters Bar, intending to go on to Brookmans Park by rail replacement bus. However the bus was delayed so we decided to start the walk at Potters Bar instead - meaning a shorter morning walk. Very well looked after by the friendly staff and we all enjoyed the delicious food.

Have been visiting the Plough regularly and never had a bad experience. The food has always been tasty and all the staff friendly and ready to help. Since Lisa took over as manager she has always made time to say hello whenever she is on duty and with Remy it's always seirvice with a smile. We have tried many other pubs in the area but always come back to The Plough.
