The best restaurants in Northaw and Cuffley Welwyn Hatfield East of England

1st time of going to this venue, very impressive, decor was beautifully done. Had a light lunch and the food was delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is scruffy as it’s on an industrial area, but once inside it’s lovely, the outside seating area looks great, will definitely return in the summer.

Another great evening at Haus - 9 of us out for my Daughter's Birthday. Really went to town on ordering and all was so good. Prawn toast is perfect! Sushi so nice too. Teriyaki Ribeye one of our faves as was full rack of ribs but all dishes great. Lovely cocktails - our fave is the Lychee Blossom. Fab atmosphere and lovely service! Decor is wonderful too. Thanks to Jason & his team

I always find that I come away from The Orchid with a pleasant feeling after eating there. The food is nicely arranged, adequate, always delicious and reasonably priced. It is a shame that it isn’t more spacious but unfortunately, it is something they can’t do anything about

Three of us had this week's non veggie meal and were happy with just about everything. The delivery was spot on, the food was hot - obviously freshly prepared - and the meal was good and tasty. We are big eaters so could have done with slightly larger portions but next time we will add some extras. I found it tricky to order for 3 - perhaps the method could be made more transparent. I look forward to trying this service again in the not too distant future. They deserve success.

What a disappointment! Having dined here before we were looking forward to celebrating my sisters birthday here with our family. Our table was booked for 7pm but we didn’t get to order food for at least an hour. When the very rude man, who I believe was the person in charge came to take our orders, he rudely pointed at each of us individually asking “what do you want?” There were no niceties, no friendly smile, nothing! After enquiring multiple time about our food we were just told “it’s coming” When our food eventually arrived it was 9.20! The only member of staff that was friendly and did apologise for the shoddy service we had received was a lovely man called Anthony. My family and I will definitely not be returning. I’d rather dine at Macdonalds! At least you get service with a smile

I love having a Costa Coffee good staff very friendly and polite lovely place to have a coffee with friends or just to have a coffee and unwind and relax. Unfortunately they are closing there doors on 16th December 2023.

We were a party of 11 including 4 unruly young children. The food was very good. . We had a variety from the menu includ8ng byriani and dhansak and i recommend it all, especially the lamb madras. The service was on point and the bill was good value for money. Thank. Will come again without the kids.

What amazing food!! Ordered the family deal and there was so much food and by far the best Indian in Ipswich! Would highly recommend!!

We've used this pub as a ramble lunch stop a few times, as well as this one. Staff helpful when I made the booking - and on our arrival, nearly an hour early! This was because we'd come by train to Potters Bar, intending to go on to Brookmans Park by rail replacement bus. However the bus was delayed so we decided to start the walk at Potters Bar instead - meaning a shorter morning walk. Very well looked after by the friendly staff and we all enjoyed the delicious food.

Google said open. Walked to the pub in the pouring rain to find closed!!! Not good when Google says open

Ordered the roitissery chicken it was dry burnt and cold. Was very disappointed with the food. The staff were polite. Wouldn’t go there for dinner again. We only went there because we couldn’t not get a booking at the wonderful bulls head restaurant in Turnford
