Cuffley Cafe in Welwyn Hatfield

Stopped for breakfast during a long walk through Cuffley - bacon roll was delicious and washed down with a lovely cup of tea. Friendly welcome and quick service.

We went to the Cufley Cafe for the first time today. We had two babies and two mad todlers who were hangry and loud when we arrived. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious. The coffee was great. I had the pink lady breakfast. The kids made a mess and threw a few things around but the staff were so friendly, helpful and kind. My sister in law accidentally walked out without paying and they were so Polite about it 😂 We will definitely visit again. Lovely cafe!

Well what can I say about the Cuffley Cafe! I go there every week with my partner and my sister and we are treated SO well by all of the staff. They are all so friendly and very helpful. The choices on the menu are great..literally spoilt for choice! The omelettes are fantastic and they come with chips and a delicious salad..red onion, lettuce, carrot, coleslaw, cucumber, red cabbage and tomato. Even the sandwiches come with the salad! The prices are extremely good. This is a fantastic place to eat and we look forward to our weekly our visits there. I cannot speak highly enough about the Cafe, the food and of course the staff 😀

Used to use this place a lot around 4 years ago. Went in there this morning and the place has obviously gone through a change of ownership and a bit of a refurb since I was last there. The new menu is limited and eyewateringly expensive. Asked for a "full english" and a cup of tea without looking at their menu. To say the least. I was disappointed. Only one egg, one sausage two bacon, beans two hash browns which have no place in a full english,and one slice of soggy toast.... no tomatoes, mushrooms or black pudding.... I hate hash browns....so... a poorly portioned breakfast for two, with two teas and two cans of coke.... £28.... absolute rip off. Nice enough staff, but I won't be returning.

I could not resist but write a 5 star review for Cuffley Cafe after the wonderful experience I have had on two separate occasions. The staff are all lovely and seem genuine because I could feel warmth and sincere hospitality. And what about the food? Amazing and wonderful to say the least! Their presentation did not disappoint either. Another thing worth mentioning is the small library of books on shelves you will see at corner of the cafe. This encourages people from the community to donate their books as well as influences customers like to take a book home for a donation. Fabulous and thank for Cuffley for contributing for contributing to your community and for giving me a lovely experience on both visits!

Food is bang on and staff are really friendly.. I like the fact they have a 5 star hygiene rating.. Definitely worth a visit.

The Veggie breakfast was superb. I just had it without the eggs and butter for the toast to make it Vegan.

What can I say. Simply delicious. Got the jacket potato with beans&cheese and chefs special chicken kebab. Came with a beautifully dressed salad and coleslaw. May I add, the orange juice was freshly squeezed. I definitely do recommend if you’re in the area.

Delicious meal, great service and atmosphere. All the staff were really lovely. I had fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee and an omelette with cheese, mushrooms and peppers, it was all super delish! It may have been just a tad overcooked, but still really lovely, added a bit of tabasco sauce, which gave it the kick I love. Fries were perfectly crispy, hot and delicious, and good salad/coleslaw accompaniment. Definitely will be returning when given the opportunity! Great place for breakfast or lunch!

Really good quality food, portions, and service....

Strangely the Cafe was busy. I had probably the plainest burger I have ever tasted, No sauce, tomato, or lettuce in it, apart from oily fried onion, the meat is average, the chips is soaking in oil as well, you can't find a single napkin on the table, hence I don't recommend it for quality food lovers, and I wouldn't give them more than 1 star.

We went there for a quick lunch. Situated in a nice little English high road. I had an omelette which was super tasty. I’d certainly go there again. You have free parking too.

Been twice now and can honestly say i will go again, lovely staff, popular place since the food has gotten better, the seating could be better. Food quality is good and so is the price, however a can of coke cost 1.50, could literally cross the road and get one for 90p so that's over priced in my opinion... but otherwise yes, food is lovely and the staff just want to help you in any way they can and to make sure your meal is enjoyable, there is a car park (free on sundays) just around the corner (less than a minute walk) so very good! It is a small cafe, with cramped insides, i've sat outside each time because of this, can't really do much due to the size of the establishment but does need a better seating layout.

Popped in for lunch on my way past. Quick and easy service to go. Freshly made sandwiches and coffee. Polite and friendly staff. The menu looked like it has a good variety of things. Take away coffee was better than mainstream coffee shops on the high street! Would recommend and visit again!

Visited this cafe for the first time recently and had such a great experience that I’ve been back a few times ever since. The food is extremely clean and delicious. The staff do their utmost to give you a pleasant experience. I will definitely be going regularly and recommend it to everyone!!

My husband, friend and I visited the Cafe on Friday to have a late lunch before going out for drinks. They were very welcoming and the service was very good. I had the chicken escalope, husband had liver & bacon and friend had the lamb chops. It was all very hot and tasty... almost too much for me.

This is our favourite cafe in Cuffley!, we have tied other local cafes, but none taste as good as the breakfast here!, we wish they were open on Sundays!

Sadly the last time I would go back. The breakfast for both my wife and I was really bad. The milkshake was OVER sweet... Everything just seemed badly prepared. My advice is for the staff and management to visit well run cafe's that serves breakfast deals such as the amazing Farm which is located on Ferney Hill as it's only 10 away.

What a RIP off.not going here again.beans on toast 2 sausages cappuccino £8.20 bloody joke.
