The best restaurants in Sutton Suffolk Coastal East of England

The service was excellent. The food was so good. We had the chicken with tostones and calamari for appetizers. Their salmon over tortilla n green salad was very good.

These days, why would you go to a pub when it doesn't do food? The only thing that would encourage me to do so is if it was a very good pub. Luckily, this is a GREAT pub-I absolutely love it. It's got owners who immediately make you feel at home, a wonderful, welcoming, droll crowd of locals, lots of different entertainments (music, quizzes, various special events) and a characterful old building, lovingly restored and comfortably furnished. It's warm and lively -like the ideal of the perfect English village pub. On occasion, they guest some excellent local food-but it doesn't take that to bring people over the threshold. It's ALWAYS a pub well worth visiting.

Got a takeaway Cappucino, sausage roll and biscuits for the dog🤣. The sausage roll is exceptionally good👌🌟🌟. Coffee is great too. The Jack Russell enjoyed his biscuits, plus a bit of my sausage roll🙄😅. Service was prompt, efficient and polite. Totally recommend.

A very peaceful and well kept site with good facilities. A great place from which to explore the area, which itself is quite beautiful.

What can I say.... Attentive, presentable staff, great atmosphere and feel to this superb restaurant, Food that possessed an amazing taste, texture, appearance, and aroma, and satisfying in the mouth, the full neurological experience!

Brilliant food. The skate wing was amazing and the Burger made me very very happy. I went for the Stilton topping and did NOT regret it.

Lovely little place in the village.

We booked this top rated restaurant for my wife’s birthday, Very very disappointed with this visit, had a booking at 2pm, the pub had been open 2 hours and was told they had run out of the Pork roast, with such a small menu choice we were very unhappy, Cauliflower cheese was like glue. Service was very slow and no one cared, owner (Brendan) was floating around asking regulars if they had a good time, didn’t check with our table, think he would have had a detrimental answer. Shame, had high hopes, will not return.

So i came here for just a quick pint and ended up getting the nachos and they were delectable, best nachos ive had! i recommend 100%
