Very accommodating - we had originally booked for 2 but bumped into some family and were able to swap the tables around to cater for 5 of us. Burgers were great, hake was very tasty and the liver and bacon was OK. We mentioned some of the liver was inedible (chewy) and left a fair amount on the plate - without question this was removed from the bill. Very well dealt with and 5⭐ service. We will be back !!

A really great breakfast - ingredients of the highest quality and the bacon and sausages were to die for. Staff were all really nice an pleasant the the whole place was clean, tidy and fresh and the toilets spotless. Pity I didn't see the fantastic range of cakes till I was at the till paying - but then maybe not for breakfast!

We just came back from the all you can eat curry night that was advertised. It was a lovely evening, attentive and professional staff who spent the time to say hi to our son and have a general chit chat. Nothing was too much when we requested hot water to heat up our son’s pouch, which we were very grateful of! The buffet was a fair price and was lovely, a good range of food on offer, the mint chutney was zingy and made your mouth water. A few more stars of the show for me were the lamb rogan Josh and the grilled seabass. All the curries were flavourful and the meat tender. Definitely a not so hidden gem off the A38 and well worth trying out if you are ever passing by.
