Great food, great friendly service and lovely traditional atmosphere.. The Indonesian pork special with rice was delicious followed by treacle sponge pudding and lashings of custard as described by the friendly manageress… dog friendly as well.

Nice place to stop for a drink and cake

Very accommodating - we had originally booked for 2 but bumped into some family and were able to swap the tables around to cater for 5 of us. Burgers were great, hake was very tasty and the liver and bacon was OK. We mentioned some of the liver was inedible (chewy) and left a fair amount on the plate - without question this was removed from the bill. Very well dealt with and 5⭐ service. We will be back !!

Stopped off at white horse for lunch on way home after our holiday, food was excellent, best we have had all through our holiday, service was very good, friendly staff, highly recommend if you are in that area, pub looks good, with a lovely outside area, wish we lived closer
