This is by far our favorite restaurant, the atmosphere, the intimacy along with the pure simplicity is unmeasured. Once you add the knowledge of the wines coupled with David's amazing food just means you never want to leave, the fact that we live 14 miles away unfortunately means we have to tear ourselves away. Never change guys you're the best. Harri and Darren

Sunny day, went to the seafront in Felixstowe with my 4 legged friend. We were greeted quickly and given a menu. Price is very reasonable and very tasty burgers. Only gave 4 stars as the burgers did take a while to come but will come back as no issue at all.

Went here for the first time on our latest trip to Felixstowe and we are so glad we did.Lovely food, freshly cooked and reasonably priced.Very friendly staff and everything i watched being freshly prepaired looked delicious.Myself and my Son had a lovely breakfast ( mine complete with granary toast), my partner had ham, egg and chips which looked lovely and my daughter had a jacket potato and as she couldn't finish it they kindly packaged it up for her to take away.Would love to visit again when in town.

If your looking for a real sandwich with good fillings then this is the shop for you. Having visited on many occasions I have never been disappointed. The staff are all friendly and more than willing to help you choose from the exhaustive menu. You will never be disappointed. Don’t look anywhere else. Victorian Beach Hut Penelope

Lovely place to eat. Myself and my friend popped in for lunch today. We both chose the jacket potato, great menu with plenty of choice and very reasonable priced. Lovely, warm and friendly staff. A real gem 💎. Would highly recommend this and we will be back! Thanks for a lovely lunch 😄.

I have been wanting to go here for a couple of months so when it was chosen as a venue for our monthly dinner club, I was delighted to be able to attend. It was just as well that there were fourteen of us because, apart from us there were only a couple of other tables in use and a few takeaways. First impressions are always important and mine were not good. The two waiting staff were chatting away behind the bar and made no attempt to make me feel welcome. Nor did they offer a drink until the rest of the table arrived some fifteen minutes later. We'd been asked to pre-order to aid the kitchen. My choice was a Sigara Borek, filo pastry filled with feta cheese. Disappointingly bland really and, at £6.95, pricey I felt. The main course - Incik - was a lamb shank and, at £19.95, it was tasty enough with the plentiful meat falling off the bone, but it really wasn't very hot. The very small portion of chips were overcooked and also lukewarm. The best bit of the meal was the very nice Turkish bread and Cacik, the Turkish equivalent of Tzatziki. Other folk have raved about the Anatolia, but I'm afraid I left feeling distinctly underwhelmed.

Awesome place. A good choice of ice cream but not so overwhelming to make it difficult to decide. Nice cakes (not too much in the way of gluten free options if you need that) and some decent looking savoury food. Turkish delight milkshake is fantastic.

Very disappointed. This was the best fish and chips for years. We visited yesterday for first time in a couple of years and sadly it's not a patch on what it used to be. Only one size cod and chips, batter almost too crispy and quite greasy, which it never used to be. Chips were fine. All served in a basket lined with paper, rather than a plate which meant fish sitting on top of the chips, barely room to cut it. I realise costs have increased but 40p for a sachet of ketchup or mayo that used to be in bottles available at the table is unreasonable in a restaurant, leave that for the take away. Add cheese to your chips for £2, but it was literally a sprinkling. Won't return, will try one of the many other offerings along the seafront to find a new favourite. Polite staff and plenty of them but barely anyone in the place where there used to be a queue to get in, that in itself speaks volumes.

Came here on a Sunday. Very convenient place next to the promenade. It was a very pleasant experience, the sun was out and the beer garden was the perfect place to relax out of the wind but still getting alot of the lovely sun. We also met the landlord who was very welcoming and friendly. Beer prices are very reasonable and a good selection on tap. We would be back maybe for some live music.
