Very friendly staff and lovely fresh food. Walked in dripping wet after swimming, nobody batted Sn eyelid. Great array of choices on the menu 😀

I haven't had a sandwich out and about this good for years (blt) , everything fresh and plentiful and tasty.

It's small, it's lively, it's popular, it serves great snacks, meals and sandwiches plus the 'TEAM' are friendly, efficient and fun. It is directly opposite Felixstowe Pier which offers a small selection of eating and takeaway establishments BUT take those extra few step using the conveniently placed pedestrian traffic lights and cross the road to this bijou bun fest. I have to admit to being a semi regular visitor and am slowly working my way through menu.

Absolutely loved our visit today. Food was delicious and caters for both dietary needs, including oat milk and decaf coffee. Food delicious . Service friendly and atmosphere sunny with attention to details. If ever in Felixstow again, this is where we will be eating

Sausage, Bacon and Egg on Harvester bread (that’s brown) the best sandwich in Felixstowe, great coffee too. Lovely friendly staff, my regular Wednesday morning visit spot on 👍

Warm, welcoming, friendly team and they use quality produce. What more can you ask for. It will be your own fault if you come out of their establishment hungry. Can't say much more but if my waistline allows I will keep coming back for my breakfast feast.

We spent a few days in Felixstowe the other week and a local pointed us in the direction of The Turtle & Bear sandwich shop. The bread they serve is out of this world, genuinely the freshest bread we've had, baked and delivered that morning then cut into big doorsteps to accommodate the fillings. We went 3 days on the trot so that's all that needs to be said. The staff are all really friendly too!

After spending twenty mins walking up and down Felixstowe looking for something other then chips we stumbled across this gem of a place! So clean reasonably priced and the most amazing huge sandwiches to die for !!! After seeing one place charge over ten pound for a sandwich this made our day at less than 4 pound !!! Next time I’m also trying one of the delicious cakes !! Thank you I shall return from Ipswich just to have another tasty sarnie !

What a great find!! Thought we’d try this as I’m a little done with fish and chips in lockdown... by far the best sandwich I’ve ever had! Fresh, tasty and so well packed out! We will go back to Felixstowe just to visit this shop :)

Really great foods prepared right in front of you. Top quality ingredients used and easily the best sandwich bar in town in my opinion. Portion size is very generous and the coffees are amazing. Staff are professional and always friendly They even do local delivery. Thoroughly recommended..!

Breakfast Baps/Lunch/Afternoon Tea and Catering. Always fantastic service, always happy to cater for what ever you require. Breakfasts are fresh, well cooked, great portion size and reasonably priced. Lunches are made freshly in front of you, huge portions and absolutely delicious. Afternoon tea and catering is absolutely fantastic, the team bend over backwards to cater for our requirements and produce wonderful things. This is a wonderful little gem in Felixstowe and we are so grateful to finally have some good, fresh, reasonably priced food on our doorstep.

I can get my caffeine fix with soy milk and the sandwiches are to die for.beef and horseradish is easily my favourite.the place is clean,the staff are the sweetest and it feels like a really good place to go.all food is amazing but the cakes are definitely the little gems.you couldn't be disappointed

Utilizamos para visitar la tienda de sandwich en este anterior dirección los viernes para el desayuno panecillos ahora hemos comenzado visitando la nueva tienda, La Tortuga y el oso. La tienda es muy limpio y el personal es amable y los bocadillos son buenos, sin embargo. . . tenemos un par de cuestiones que puedan impidió volver tan a menudo como nos gustaría. En primer lugar estamos acostumbrados a tener las salchichas y bacon y huevos fritos panecillos pero que no ofrecen los huevos fritos, huevos duros, sólo que no es el mismo, así que este es un aspecto negativo para algunos de nosotros. La otra cuestión es la comida siempre parece llegar a nuestra oficina casi fría, aunque estamos a menos de un minuto en coche de la tienda. Así que quizás la comida no es especialmente caliente para empezar, pero también el embalaje no está aislado para mantener la comida caliente. Así que en conclusión, es una buena tienda y parece que han conservado la clientela de la tienda antigua, y si quieres bocadillos fríos, pasteles, etc. es un buen lugar para visitar, sin embargo si quieres bocadillos calientes o panecillos quizás no es el lugar para ir.

Desde su inauguración he visitado esta excelente tienda de sandwich varias veces y seguirá haciéndolo cuando visite Felixstowe normalmente vienen en el 14 pasado los muelles hay aparcamiento a la izquierda después de las puertas del tren y por el pub. El sabor increíble, son sandwiches una gran relación calidad-precio y son muy abundantes. Las tortas caseras son para morirse! !Me encanta la decoración del lugar vintage/estilo rústico, el personal es muy acogedor y servicial soy bastante quisquilloso con la comida y siempre servicial cambiando el relleno y recomendar lo que tienen. Excelentes opciones para los vegetarianos y veganos también

Gran lugar para el desayuno, el almuerzo, sandwich, pastel o café. Todos los ingredientes frescos hechos a diario y sabe muy bien. He estado en la zona para la semana pasada, así que hemos estado en cada día. El servicio amable y la decoración de buen gusto, mucho mejor que la mayoría en Felixstowe y a precios asequibles, a diferencia de la comida cara en el mar.

Drove past this afternoon and saw this sandwich shop and make a stop. Fresh thick cut bread, fresh local fillings and plenty to choose from. Good value for money. 3 quid for 'the turtle' not bad as all fresh and plenty of fillings

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here today! From the moment I walked in you could see everything, where my food was going to be made which was clean and tidy, was politely greeted, the menu was short and simple so didn't waste time mulling over what to have! "The Turtle"'sandwich was tasty, full of flavour and fresh, all at a great price! Turns out they only opened the shop this Monday and I wish them all the best for the future. Lovely place! Happily return if I'm ever in the area. Heads up if you're driving.... if you're driving, there was parking on the same side of the road but on the other side of the traffic lights!

Visited this new sandwich shop today and yesterday, staff very friendly and the food is awesome, a place not to be missed on a visit to Felixstowe, will certainly go again on another visit.

The Turtle and The Bear is a new sandwich shop and cafe which opened earlier in the week, according to the friendly owner. The interior and exterior is very tasteful. It's not too far from the sea located on Beach Station Rd. It serves great Paddy and Scotts coffee and excellent sandwiches with a choice of breads and fillings. I had a yummy slow cooked chicken one. Excellent value will come again.
