Always pleasure to enjoy a good steak in a lovely atmosphere!

My daughter and son-in-law took me to the Golden Elephant as a Mother's day treat. They know it is my favourite restaurant in the area. I was not disappointed. Joe (the owner) was very welcoming and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food and atmosphere were excellent. I can thoroughly recommend it.

Over priced cakes that had little flavour and weren't as fresh as you would expect!

Visited The Bull, Wheathampstead for a meal and catch up with friends. We had a lovely meal with everything delicious and cooked to perfection. Our waitress, Belinda was attentive but not intrusive and was very knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu. I couldn’t decide which cocktail to choose and Belinda recommended the Disarrano Blush which didn’t disappoint and I highly recommend too. The Bull is well worth a visit, lovely location especially if you get to sit outside by the river on a nice summer’s day.

Food was absolutely fantastic. One of our party was gluten intolerant and was catered for superbly. A small intimate setting with very attentive service - slnidt like dining as a treasured gruff in the owners house. Starters, mains and deserts were to due fir together with great wine. We will definitely return - can’t believe we’ve just discovered this gem.

We went for a lovely sunny lunch, unreal food and great service even when the pub was heaving! Shoutout to molly for great customer service. This was my first time and will definitely be returning 😊

We went to get a takeaway but loved the interior with its genuine large pizza oven combined by the lovely service we were provided by the team there. We will definitely return to ‘eat in ‘ as the place has a lovely ambience and is clearly very popular. The pizza we had was wonderful and was accompanied by some very fresh and tasty tiramisu!

Absolutely beautiful gem of a place you won't be disappointed. Friendly professional and staff who are simply wonderful. Just had a delicious cheese and tomato sandwich with side salad. That was perfect. They have a good and varied menu but pleased they have traditional snacks as well. The garden area is beautiful and so peaceful too. Friendly locals and huge car park.

Le Moulin is a treat. Jeremy only opens when he has bookings. We booked out the entire restaurant for a birthday celebration (20 covers) and had a wonderful experience - great food and hospitality and a really special evening.

Had Sunday dinner here. Nice quaint pub with an amazing well in the middle! Very big outdoor area so may go again on a sunny day.
