Ordered from Uber eats. Was 30 mins late and sub par food. Definitely been sitting in the box for ages, the bruchetta was soggy and the pasta had very little sauce.

Such a beautiful place, well decorated, the aroma is just amazing. The food is delicious. We have several veg dishes. It was a little too warm inside but that might just be me.

I visit the place this evening with my nephews. Service was quick with the order, food came on time and was great, my little ones loved it

AVOID - Complete disregard for allergens. We placed an order for pizza and pasta, requesting the pasta had no cheese on it. The pasta arrived containing cheese. On phoning the restaurant we were advised they had seen the request on the order and we would accordingly be refunded. 10 mins later they called back to advise there was no cheese on the pasta. We challenged this as we could clearly see the cheese, but the manager, who didn’t speak to us directly but used one of his staff as a go between, argued there was no cheese. Upon challenging him, we could hear him shouting that ‘yes, there could be some cheese’ on the dish. At no point did he apologise. We were again told that we would receive a refund but 5 days later it still hadn’t been received. We called again and were again told a refund would be processed which still hasn’t been honoured several weeks later. Not only do they have a complete disregard for allergens but also customer service. For a pasta dish costing £19 (it was only a simple arrabbiata (gluten free)) we would expect it to not only be an excellent bowl of pasta, but to be as per the order.

I have visited this establishment regularly and sampled various meals in house. Overall, I would say this restaurant is markedly average. Pizza: the best thing you can get there. It comes from a quirky traditional oven, but lacks some of the special flavour I associate with pizzas cooked in this fashion. It still tastes better than the average pizza, but not by much. The price is fair. Pasta: I had Spaghetti Carbonara and found the sauce bland and the dish uninspired. Another time I had lasagna and there were too much tomato, not enough meat and barely any white sauce. Salad: I had a Caesar's Salad. The portion was generous and filled me up. The sauce was nice but could have been better. Sides: I liked their fried courgettes. Their chicken in tomato sauce is no good - chicken drowned in tomato pulp. Perhaps this place is ideal for pizza collection - one of my main pet peeves eating on site is the service charge which always seems to push the price up to unreasonable levels for the quality of the food received.

DO NOT ORDER!!!!! Like many other people. Ordered on Uber eats at 6:30pm. Delivery time 7:30. 8pm calling restaurant countless times keep being lied to about the delivery time. Random excuses no actual ETA. Called so many times they started rejecting my calls. Unbelievable and extremely annoying as you expect your dinner, and order takeaway so you do not plan to cook. Yet you are left waiting around hungry. You can tell they couldn’t care less about it either just talking over you. Only like 25 mins away first guy said ‘he left 10 mins ago’. 40 mins later still no food. At this point it’s nearly two hours since order was placed. Could have walked to the shops and cooked a three course meal myself in this time and wouldn’t be starving for dinner. Pizza arrived stone cold. Worst take away I’ve ever ordered. Seriously don’t order it’s not worth it. Will be requesting a refund

DO NOT ORDER FROM DELIVEROO. THEY HAVE THEIR OWN DELIVERY SYSTEM DELIVER AFTER MINIMUM 2 HOURS THEIR NUMBER IS ABSOLUTELY UNREACHABLE - FOOD ARRIVED VERY COLD AND SOGGY

So lucky to live in a village with such an outstanding pizza restaurant. The pizzas here are as good as any I've had anywhere, including the so-called best pizza spots in London. Thin but crusty base and lots of high quality toppings. I think we had just about every pizza on the menu with our group this evening and we all demolished it so no definitely no complaints! The tiramisu is excellent too. Great service, Italian owned and run. Freshly baked pizzas produced quickly. We love their take away service too.

Although highly recommended by friends we were more than highly disappointed with many things. We got the impression that the staff really had no experience in running the place. Service was very poor and communication between staff members was none existant. Here’s the list: No ice for the drinks. No lemon for the gin and tonic but a lovely paper straw. Warm bottled beer. Warm white wine. No plates on the table although we had ordered shared starters. We did get some, eventually. No table water offered and never arrived even though we asked for some. Pizzas served on a wooden platter with a corrugated cardboard sheet between the pizza and the board which then melted into the pizza. I really do not understand why? Was it to replicate an authentic pizza in a box experience? 6 main courses duly arrived, the 7th was forgotten about until the server was reminded 10 minutes later and it then arrived 10 minutes after that.

This is my favourite local restaurant. The staff are absolutely brilliant and really look after me and my sons. The food is delicious every time and there prices are fair in my opinion. It's cozy near to the big pizza oven and you can even see your pizza being hand made. Highly recommend.

In fairness to the kitchen, the food standard is reasonably good. However, one bit of advice. DO NOT order from this place on Deliveroo. Unfortunately Nonnos use deliveroo to get the orders but fulfill the delivery themselves. This then meaning that any tracking info and delivery times eta are inaccurate. Was told 8.15 latest, and order didn't arrive until 9.30pm, meaning too late for dinner. First world problem, but when something simple like ordering two pizzas can't be done, it is frustrating. No one likes cold pizza, in a soggy cardboard box! Have eaten in before and food was reasonably good hense my order online, but I won't be doing either again, out of principle it is happy to make the sale, but not bothered about making a customer!!

This is our 2nd time visiting. The occasion was for my Birthday. Starters are very over priced for what they were. Pizzas were tasty but it was the desserts that let this place down. They really are not as described. I think that they are all mass bought and frozen. My tiramisu came in a pot. The s-once fingers were not stacked in anything, there was clearly no mascaparpone and the cream tasted artificial. My husband’s profiteroles were also highly dissapointing. No self respecting Italian restaurant would serve desserts like this. Tiramisu is not difficult to make properly and so this restaurant would do well to learn to make it themselves.

W/c 23rd October we decided to try this pizzaria went through the website and ordered a small vegetarian meal for delivery as the roadworks to the main roundabout had finished . The order went through very smooth payment taken. The cost for this was high to say the least. However we then waited in excess of an hour( bearing in mind we only live 12 mins drive from this restaurant) before it arrived. When it arrived the hot dish was cold and congealed the cold dish container looked as though it had been sat on it was totally uneatable. In summary a complete waste of time effort and money completely ruining our evening.

Extremely poor delivery took an hour and a half to arrive the food arrived stone cold congealed and uneatable total wate.of.money.

I love it here, the food is absolutely amazing with fresh ingredients and always beatifully presented. I've had countless great experiences here and its a family favourite for our celebrations. 100% recommend to everyone!

I wanted to order something to eat so I was searching on Deliveroo and I spotted this restaurant Isabel Italian. I never heard of it so I opened to see the reviews and it seemed legit. I decided fo order food for myself and my daughter. After placing the order I googled the name of the restaurant and a restaurant in Spain came up followed by another one in California. I said to myself very strange. On Deliveroo it said that my order would be with me at 14:50.. around 15:15 I called the restaurant wondering where my food was. When the person picked up the phone they mentioned “Nonno’s pizza” I was very confused. These people use another name to deceive customers. Their food arrived soggy and cold, and it doesn’t taste like real Italian food. This is an insult to Italian cuisine! I am going to ask Deliveroo for a refund and explanations! Che schifo di cibo! Monnezza altro che!

Oh dear! We decided to come to this restaurant again after a not great visit a couple of years or so ago. There were 3 other small tables in there so not busy. Our drinks and food orders were taken quite quickly so all good. A large table of adults and children came in and another table of adults arrived a while after us. Both tables received their food before we did. I had ordered Carbonara and was very surprised to see it was garnished all around the edges of the plate with large swirls of black pepper. Very strange. After I had removed ALL the pepper as it is not my favourite condiment, it was at least 3 pinches of pepper. The actual meal was tainted with pepper. I didn't need to season it! It was a bit grey looking. I have never had Carbonara like this. I should have complained, but didn't want to spoil our evening out. The men staff were not interested in us as customers, but the lady staff were better at communicating. Sorry Nonno's, I doubt we will be back again.

I ordered a Deliveroo pasta dish and it was very tasty and delivered very hot. Even though delays on the A1 meant it was a bit late the driver kept us up to date and was very apologetic when it arrived. Will definitely order again!

From an Italian born and raised they have now made hate pizza ! I ordered on just eat, I was meant to receive the food at either 21:20 or 21:50 I called them constantly from 22:50 they did not know the wear about of their own driver. The driver got here at 22:35. Food was cold and horribly packaged no sealed and wet cardboard box. From someone that used to run a kitchen my self: I mentioned to them that they were putting me in danger of food poisoning as the food would have been not edible if it was below 34 Celsius degrees - food quality and safety where is it ??? From an Italian they do not deserve to provide such service and call it Nonnos Pizza - is an insult to pizza and insult to Italy. The manager then called me saying oh sorry, but it takes more thank 20 minutes to prepare and 20 to drive to you, my response was then open a restaurant closer to the locations you wish to provide service to then? I am not against the driver that had no say in all of this, I used to be a Dominos driver as well so I know the efforts and how challenging it is, I am not complaining against him at all. Apparently the poor driver had to deliver 2 orders at once ! I paid for mine and only not to join someone else's delivery fee??? Cutting corners. Asked for a refund straight away . However the most horrible thing about this whole situation is the fact that this thing happens to me TWICE. Correct TWICE . Very similar issue. If they cannot provide a service to the places they have on their website they should just stop advertising in those locations! A' Pizz va magnat CALDA uallione! 🇮🇹

Wrong toppings on pizza, asked for refund they said no problem, deliveroo couldn’t refund it, so I called again and asked if I can come to restaurant drop the food off and collect a full refund, they said no problem. On arrival I went to back door instead of front to be polite and the old women tried her best to refuse the refund and even got her 6ft tall and wide chef to intimidate me. It didn’t work and I refused to leave until I got a refund, got the refund and left. Won’t be going back.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered a pasta carbonara and I can say that it is the most disgusting pasta carbonara I have ever eaten. First of all, the consistency of the pasta was almost liquid, far from the creamy and rich pasta typical of an authentic carbonara. The sauce was bland and without any distinct taste, completely lacking the rich flavors of eggs, cheeses and bacon. I had the impression that I had eaten pasta rinsed in water, without any flavor. Also, the bacon bits were rotten and tasted rancid and bitter. I was disgusted to taste this poor quality bacon. This is a far cry from the authentic recipe where the bacon is supposed to be crispy and have a salty, delicious flavor. The pasta portion was also very small and did not compare to the generous portions I have gotten in other restaurants. Although I paid quite a price for this pasta, I felt cheated and unfulfilled. In conclusion, I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The pasta carbonara here is far from authentic and downright disgusting. There are many other restaurant options that offer much tastier pasta.

Great pizzas with gluten free dough. Generous toppings. Staff are polite and attentive. Lovely atmosphere and lay out of restaurant. The music could be toned down a bit, we prefer low level music. The dough for the normal pizza base is soft and tasty. The mixed salad portion is small, more generous portion of salad would be good. Quaint, cosy restaurant, we regularly visit and also take out delivery.

Terrible service. Waiter spent all his time looking at his phone and showed very little interest on providing us with good service. We were one of two table being served. Main dishes didn’t come out at the same time and we had to ask for more cutlery following our starters. When asked for spoons to eat pasta dishes they didn’t have any- clearly they went to wash some up. We have visited this restaurant several times before and this was by far the worse it has been. If it hadn’t been for the fact we were celebrating a birthday I would have complained. They were happy to add a tip to the bill. The food was ok. Based on the service alone from tonight’s experience I wouldn’t go back. Such a shame.

Terrible delivery experience. Wrong order received after £50 spent. Delivery driver rude and unhelpful “I don’t know, this is what the restaurant gave me”, then abruptly walked off. Food took over 90mins to deliver. Restaurant not picking up phone to remedy. Bank chargeback tomorrow - will not be ordering again!

Incredible food and such amazing service! Came here for Father’s Day with my parents, sister and baby son. They were so accommodating as I had a large bulky pram and they found us a suitable area to sit in. The lady who served us was so lovely and good at her job 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Cheers guys for a great evening..after being turned away from several pubs near by not being able to serve food, we had our first ever meal here. We were warmly welcomed and the food was well above average and tasty, it was laid back and we were not rushed, I'd go back soon without a doubt. See you soon!

Ordered pizza online, more than 80mins late. Called twice to chase, no tracking, didn't care just kept insisting pizza on its way. Do not order from here.

Booked this evening 10 days ago and confirmed today for myself and my 87 year old mum who has lived in the village for 60 years . Have taken mum here fairly regularly since they opened. Turned up to a full restaurant and obviously no table reserved for us . Was offered an unlaid , tiny table with no chairs in a dingy back room with no windows and a large table laid for a party . Told them I had booked for the restaurant and specifically requested a table window . They just put up their hands and said they were full. No kind of apology and just let us walk away . This is what happens when places get greedy . Obviously a table of two doesn’t bring in as much as larger parties and family groups . I just hope they can sustain this on their quieter nights . Such a shame and a disappointment for an old lady .

I regularly order takeaways here, however unexpectedly I was in the restaurant last night. I didn’t book but the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The food was delicious! Thank you

Seems I'm not the only one with a similar experience. I placed an order on NYE. Delivery was expected around 2.10am (1st Jan). It gets to 2am and no update on delivery. I tried calling the restaurant for an update but no answer. I ended up calling the restaurant 15 times but no answer at all. Around 3.30am I decided to go to bed, still nothing. The next morning I woke up and the deliveroo app said it had been delivered at 3.10am. I thought, no one rang the door bell or knocked (I live in a flat) but I thought maybe they left it outside my front door however there was nothing. I liaised with Deliveroo who eventually told me there was nothing they could do as the restaurant said they had delivered & that I should contact the restaurant. Sat 7th, I called the restaurant and spoke to Garcin who at first said they delivered and then offered me a voucher for half the price. I said I would like the full refund of £33 as I did not receive the order. He advised he would speak to Deliveroo finance and call me back on the Monday. I heard nothing back. I tried calling multiple times times throughout the week but was told Garcin was not available or that he would call me back- still nothing. In the end I had no choice but to go through PayPal who refunded me. It's a real shame as I have been told the pizza is nice but after the customer service or lack of, I have experienced I wouldn't spend a penny here and would urge others to re-consider - especially if ordering via an app. I hope Nonno's can do better.

Lovely food and friendly staff. It’s not just pizzas. I had a lovely pasta dish freshly cooked. They also welcomed a group of lads who walked in after football practice without any fuss.

Quite sadly, a massive let down. Slow service, greasy pizza, very overpriced. One positive, the actual reastaurant is a lovely setting, very warm and comfortable. I guess I may have just had too high expectations.

Really lovely people and the food was nice but the service really let them down unfortunately. Ordered orange juice and lemonade as one drink but received orange juice and a plate of limes. Ordered diet cokes and it took 15/20 mins (and they were just cans out of the fridge, which is fine, but should be a lot quicker). Music was too loud and was on a system where there were adverts every 5 mins which was quite jarring (a spotify account would sort this). Ordered the starter and main for ten pound lunch deal for 7 people but only 6 starters arrived and 6 mains. So one course was missing each time. It was really cold as we were placed in the conservatory part of the restaurant and the heater didn't appear to be working. We were given bottles of water but then we had to ask for glasses separately. The table was booked for 1.15pm and by 2.30pm we still hadn't got to the main course, which for a lunch deal is too slow. The lunch deal should focus on a reduced express menu so that it can be done quickly and done well. The lunch deal is very misleading as its says £10 for starter and main where we were then charged for 'extras above the base price' per dish even though we checked before coming that all dishes were included. We were then charged 15% service charge which was very cheeky. Just a bit disappointing as the food is nice here and there are some very simple things they can do to improve.

Great pizza, wine expensive, "optional" but you put it on the bill service charge for 2 is a joke 15% sneaked on..... Just noticed this on the way home...wont be returning.
