Always welcoming - you can sit inside if it’s a bit chilly and the Panetones they sell make the best Christmas gifts! Highly recommend

It is a great atmosphere, the food is excellent and the service is impeccable. I really do recommend going there. And when it’s your birthday they give you a slice of chocolate cake.

--- 🚨 **Outrage at Master Fryer in St Albans!** 🚨 Today, I encountered an appalling situation at the Master Fryer fish and chips shop that left me absolutely disgusted. The owner made a derogatory remark about an autistic individual who works at Pizza Hut, suggesting that they shouldn't be allowed to park in front of his shop simply because of their condition. Let me be clear: this person holds a blue badge, which legally permits them to park where necessary. When I tried to explain this, the owner just laughed it off, showing a complete lack of respect and understanding for those with disabilities. This kind of attitude is NOT acceptable! We should be supporting and advocating for inclusivity, not belittling those who face challenges every day. I urge everyone to think twice before supporting businesses that display such ignorance and disrespect. Ok for late drink ...full of youngsters and served by young adults ...not great

They initially got my order slightly wrong but it was rectified incredibly quickly. Our server Kelly was great! She is always friendly, personable and highly efficient. A very pleasant visit.

We've had an order to collect from here a few times and have always been satisfied with the food. The staff are pleasant on both the phone and in person. If it wasn't so pricey in a cost of living crisis we'd probably eat from here more often
