Absolutely fabulous Burn’s Night experience at The Stables at Oaklands College. The food was excellent and the service attentive. Definitely will be returning on another Thursday night

Went here as over on StcA and a big fan of Inspired Kitchen in Hemel so thought we'd try their spin off. Wish we hadn't. Not great service, 60p for oat milk instead of normal! Ordered a full English and 2 bubble n squeak breakfast. Expected a decent amount of food for the price but sorely disappointed. About a tablespoon of vinegary over peppered hollandaise, cold bacon (2 small slices) and soggy weirdly textured bubble. Had to send one back as the egg was rock solid. Ended up without a replacement as we were told (by the only pleasant waitress) there was a really long wait. Pic shows what you get for £13.50. Went up the road to Notcutts so mum could eat and we had tea n cake, much better service, food half the price and way better!!

Second time there and same lack of staff. Today there was one waitress only, managing orders, serving and cashing in. Passing by the kitchen I spotted one cook only. Could have been more. So after one hour sitting and drinking we decided to leave. Pity as I remember the first time we went the food was great.

So our order got given to someone else (or stolen) and the restaurant refused to accept fault. Told us to contact JustEat and that it was their problem now. No offer to replace the food, resolve the issue or anything, just an "oh well, not my problem". Clearly a bunch of frauds preying on the drunk and desperate and with no knowledge of how to run a business or deal with the public with any respect. As such, I am in no mood to show these people any respect in return. They have ruined the evening of hospitality staff with a rare Saturday night off by totally f*cking up our night-in together, leaving us scraping the bottom of the barrel at 10pm to find something that isn't a dodgy kebab. We tried to ring them back 35 minutes before the listed closing time without response. This screams shady business with something to hide. So let's not let them hide. They're the worst of the worst, the most uncaring and unsympathetic wastes of time and energy in the city. I would love for nothing more than them to go out of business tomorrow. Food sounded nice though, but I guess we'll never know 1/5*

We regularly pop into the cafe at Notcutts Garden Centre for breakfast at the weekend. They have a weekend deal which offers two Full English Breakfasts for £16.95 - an absolute bargain! The cafe is pleasant and clean, and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast itself uses quality ingredients and comprises eggs, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans and hash browns. Toast and tea/coffee are available at an extra cost. So why only three stars? Because the kitchen uses those catering warmer pots for a lot of the ingredients and the food is only ever lukewarm at best. It’s so frustrating as it’s a great breakfast. For the last three visits I’ve sent the food back to be popped in the microwave and then it’s fine, but the staff are not getting the hint. Turn the thermostat up on the catering pots so that the food is hot! Pretty please!

My friend and I treated ourselves to Notcutts Festive Afternoon Tea with Prosecco in lieu of a present, and were absolutely delighted with it. The tea itself was fresh and plentiful, with some novel ideas, like a ‘pig in blanket’ and a strawberry trifle. The staff were attentive and friendly. Special thanks to the manager, Jeff, for creating a good seasonal atmosphere. The price was very reasonable, much lower than other venues, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the tea to others. Hope you continue to provide similar offers at other times of the year. Happy Christmas!🎅

Visited Pausa in Wolverhampton Dunelm for lunch waited 25mins to be served ! No soup, no jacket spuds !! No system you have one person serving drinks so other staff can serve. When my husband asked why he was told to get out !! He is diabetic and had his injection so he needed to eat. He told them he wasn’t complaining he just wanted some answers. If you are going to offer cafe facilities please ensure they are run efficiently. If you don’t have the items take them off the menu. I am sorry to write this but all the customers were complaining I shop at Dunelm regularly it is a great shop, but sorry will not use cafe again. Mrs Tame
