The best restaurants in The Shelfords and Stapleford South Cambridgeshire East of England

Everything tasted very good, like of high quality for a full english breakfast; the portobello mushroom, very nice artisan bread, vine tomato etc. Service was perfect and the place is extremely clean and comfortable. Well done, great establishment.

I have only been in a handful of times to buy a gift or a bottle for a dinner. Each time I had the best help, always nice. I would love to go for an evening sometime.

I lived in Stapleford from 1968 and regularly used this lovely hostelry. 3 years ago my new wife and I moved away from Stapleford. So we were very pleased to return with some friends for a Greek Lunch. The land lady warmly greeted us. I’m very pleased to say that we discovered that it is still the centre point of the village with many locals enjoying the beers and a restaurant full of diners. The food was delicious with delicious Greek flavours and served by an attentive smiley waitress. So pleased to see this pub doing so well. Brilliant! 🇬🇷Sas efcharistó!🇬🇷

We love visiting this Chinese restaurant as a family. It has the old fashioned revolving trays on some of the bigger tables, bringing back our childhood memories! The staff are wonderful and very attentive. The food is always excellent and always of a very high quality. I would highly recommend.

Food is nice though I recommend going after 9am or it’s pretty empty. Staff will make fresh sandwiches on demand which I great if you can’t see something you like.

Such a quiant & olde world pub. Lovely open fire, excellent ale & warming, tasty soup & bread. Definitely going back here soon!

Food is amazing.. I have a fussy child and she's demanding we return for the salt and pepper chips. The food is fresh, best batter sausage I've ever had! Will 100% be returning

Called in early evening made very welcome as usual. Staff very attentive nice and clean interior. Varied menu will call in at a later stage and book table rather than a take away. Can see why they are nominated for the British curry awards.

Great bakery in lovely setting for lunch! We enjoyed tasty baguettes, good coffee and shopping in the farm shop, would highly recommend!
