Best iced coffee ever! A regular here, staff always helpful and polite. Place is always clean and tidy. Food is always freshly cooked. Dogs always welcomed with a bowl of fresh water and a butcher's sausage. Today after a stressful morning I needed a nice friendly place to go. No brainer! Just had a lovely time at The Running Horse with some friends. 😃The food was served nice and hot with plenty on the plate. Dessert was very nice . We all had a lovely time with great atmosphere, all the staff were friendly definitely recommend 👍

Well what can I say.What a contrast from 2023.John and the team gave us a great welcome for our christmas dinner.The whole venue was well decorated.The food was great and plenty of staff to make us feel very welcome. Friday 6 December 1200hrs. I AM IN MY 80s AND THIS IS THE WORST TANDOORI FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD ANYWHERE. A short while ago, I had a takeaway from Holt and reported a review on this website about how bad that was, but this is most definitely the worst Tandoori food I have ever had and almost tasteless. It was so bad that I was unable to finish eating the ordered meal. The owner should be so ashamed to allow reheated food to come to the table, it wasn't even piping hot, and the rice was reheated or recooked and was showing signs of being burnt, not hot and steaming as you would expect and the Tandoori food was almost tasteless, certainly not freshly cooked. Just how can you get All Gobi to the table not piping hot, just warm, is beyond me. My two guests were very polite and they said nothing but my male guest explained the situation by leaving at least half of his meal, so I knew that his food was as uneatable as mine. From my experience, I have had far better curries from a supermarket box. ThIS FOOD was an Insult to Tandoori Food, especially as 86 quid was the TOTAL price. I did think about taking the uneaten food home for another meal later but to have a repeat of this food was too much to choose. Any photo of food is not offered by me and stock photos. It was an awful atmosphere too and so very cold I didn't take my Puffa Jacket off. In the end, I am unable to keep the original bill/receipt given to me and a scrap of paper was issued as my bill/receipt. A complete disaster of treating my friends and never to return to this Fakenham Tandoori restaurant. The frozen ice cream was OK, but my guests choice was not available.

Went to Pensthorpe cafe today was a bit apprehensive as our visit last year was disgusting we complained and was offered a free coffee which we declined and walked out, our friend who we meet when we holiday in Norfolk told us that it had changed so we went today and what a differents the food was delicious and the staff were so helpful and friendly, l recommend a visit l give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Food only 1 star as we didn't eat. Chose twice and due to lack of stock replenish in between Xmas and New Year. So bear circumstances in mind to the rating given.

The staff in this place need a dammed good shake up!!! I've visited twice in the last month. First time food took 45 minutes to arrive, even though I'd seen her plate it up and leave on the side for over 5 minutes. Coffee is absolutely vile. She was also extremely rude and not welcoming at all. 2nd visit there were no number cards so I couldn't even make an order and the lady at checkout said "Youll just have to wait wont you". So I ended up walking out. Very rude and arrogant staff both times I've been, they are a disgrace to Morrisons.
