This is the secong time ive been here for a quick coffee break , this is the second time in a row that ive wanted a take out hot choclate , again i stood like a plum for want seemed like 5 mins like a plum , there was no one behind the counter no one serving or about in the building except for customers , i gave up and went to Greggs , always staffed by friendly people and had a much larger hot choclaste at a much cheaper price , so much for the smaller family tun cafe , i wont be going back to Taylors i will walk the extra few minutes and have a much better time

I recently visited this cafe as i did have a family member living in Fakenham one who was receiving end of life care. We had a spare hour and decided to take the dog out for a walk on a cold afternoon. We noticed this cute looking cafe with the sign saying ‘dog friendly’ and decided to go in for a hot chocolate with only half an hour before closing. There are steep stairs to go down to the ‘dog area’ but if you & your dog can manage them then once downstairs it is a perfect place to sit and with other quirky area’s too. With comfy sofa’s, books /games and the toilets, lots of thought has gone into this great space. Yes it is in the cellar but i think it has been used to great potential, not everyone wants to sit and eat in a cafe with dogs. Taylor has left the ground floor level to be ‘dog free’ and rightly so. So thank you Taylor and staff for taking time out at the end of your day for being friendly to us & Molly.

Taylor’s is a wonderful little cafe and has some fantastic cakes too! The menu is great and sandwiches are just amazing! Dog friendly area downstairs (plus outside area in spring/summer season) which is added bonus for many! I love it that much it has become my regular, with friends, alone with a book or taking someone out for a light lunch! Just the best!

It looked lovely. We travelled from North Creake as it said dog friendly. We got there. It looked great - that is until we found where we had to sit with a dog. Down some very steep stairs into a dark cellar. Settees and coffee table but very dark and not at all inviting. Dog friendly? I’d more describe it ss dog tolerated. We left.

Went in on my own.The guy clearly the owner was busy having a social conversation which he continued.Fortunately the waitress was friendly and helpful. More than I can say for the owner who considering I was on my own could not be bothered. Finished my drink and scone and will not be going back. Does not encourage new customers.

A chance discovery (thanks TripAdvisor) on route to North Norfolk. Fabulous little cafe with really great coffee (Lavazza) and truly superb cakes (orange drizzle is a dream). Breakfasts looked yummy although didn’t try. Range of table/chair seating front and back and some soft seating downstairs. Staff friendly and attentive. Great to have found a new stop-off spot, will def be back. Highly recommend! (Oh and Tesco superstore is just around corner so plenty of free (3hr) parking!)

We were delighted to find Taylors for delicious breakfast and great tasting coffee. We also had excellent takeaway vegetarian pastries and cakes for a picnic lunch. It was lovely to have such a warm and friendly welcome in the mornings! The cafe is beautifully decorated with comfortable seating on two floors and in the courtyard garden at the back. I only wish Taylors was local to us in St Albans!

This place is a little gem, top quality food and coffee, with fantastic cakes to boot. We have recently moved to the area and by chance discovered this place and have not looked at another coffee shop since! We also had an afternoon tea here couple of weeks ago, first one I personally have had, but my parents who are quite regulars in the afternoon tea department claimed it was one if the best they have ever had.

We as a family of 5 went for afternoon tea this week. It was superb. Fab sandwiches cake and scones with choice of beverages. Everything was super fresh served on lovely China. Choice of sweet or savoury with confirmation of sandwich fillings etc required the day before so booking essential. Couldn't fault it and my wife said it was better than anything we have tried before and we have done a number locally and further away including the Ritz! Alot cheaper than the Ritz as well!! We will be back.

Nice enough little cafe with good coffee and quite nice sausage roll and cake. However, they need to do something about their front door. We sat in the room at the front and it was very cold as the door is on an “arm” which doesn’t seem to close and every single person who passed through it left it open and a poor customer who sat beside it had to push it shut herself. thank god we were slightly further back! This might be OK in summer but not on a very cold December day.

Delightful place to eat and relax. Best coffee and food in town. (Nothing in little cellophane wrappers!) Very reasonably priced and v v good portions. Excellent area downstairs for meetings or sitting with friends/family: individual areas beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Much better than the 'chain' coffee/lunch places in town. Visiting Fakenham for market day. Ended up in Taylors for early lunch as the café we usually visit for coffee had no free tables. Had a coffee and Ham and Mustard sandwich. Very impressed with my sandwich, very thick and soft wholemeal bread, served with a side salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, peppers and cress) and slaw. This was all very nicely presented and served on a small rectangular tray. The staff were very friendly. Also, there were a number of different cakes and scones on display, these all looked delicious (especially the chocolate cake), I hope to try one of these on my next visit to Fakenham.

This is the second visit to the pub- after the annual Land Rover rally for the Norfolk firefighters charity. The first time we visited was just for drinks, this time we had a meal- a roast dinner in my case. We hadn’t booked and were very pleased with the service, the lady behind the bar took our orders promptly and was very helpful with the children’s menu. Food was served quickly and was delicious, proper “pub grub” The atmosphere was very pleasant too, it was a dark, wet November night and upon entering you’re greeted by an open fire, cozy bar and cozy restaurant. Will definitely be returning- more than once a year!
