Fantastic value for money. Great setting. Good quality food. 10 of us really enjoyed our visit. Well worth a visit. Great place.

This was hands down the best fish and chips shop I've ever been too. Their panfried masala fish with chunky chippy chips was amazing! Hopefully they get to open again

Atmosphere not quite sure as we had our dog and there not allowed only in the beer garden

The Old White Bell is our local village pub and we are so lucky to have this wonderful establisment within walking distance. Their Sunday lunch is always truly delicious and great value and bar manager Nicky always looks after us very well. The proprietors, James and Sean have created a tasteful, cosy and inviting ambience and we enjoy every visit.

I have been trying to find a menu any we’re, We would like to go but I like to see the menu but can’t find one up to date, if they were customer friendly they would have a web site with a up to date menu.

Excellent fish and chips, with large portions, and not too expensive. They gave us some free deepfried spicy potatoes which were superb (I think they called then potato wedges but were more like half a potato).

Charlie Hodson & the Crown 👑 Pub just keep getting better. Wednesday Curry Night is really catching on. The food is yum yum, the staff so friendly & efficient, the pub warm & inviting. The place was completely sold out with another 20+ people trying to get booked. Luckily, the Crown will offer Curry 🍛 Night every Wednesday, starting next Wednesday. This will make it easier for more Curry Fans to experience Charlie’s fantastic creations, but best to book ahead. Charlie’s grandfather was from India and taught Charlie well. Yes, I’ve already booked my table for next Wednesday.

Really good chicken curry one portion was plenty for 2 people for the smaller eaters highly recommend wot we had service quick

Had late 4pm sitting lunch yesterday it's always good food and Service but the atmosphere was so spoilt by Noisy children at a big booking of family, the allowed them to run about the noise was awful all you could hear was one of the kids scream above everyone's voice. I did want to get up and ask them to turn it down but you get abuse back ! I had children but noway did they act like those... I like going there if it happens again I will say something...
