Rumble's Fish Bar in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Excellent fish and chips, with large portions, and not too expensive. They gave us some free deepfried spicy potatoes which were superb (I think they called then potato wedges but were more like half a potato).

Cold greasy fish and chips horrible

The shop and staff were great clean and friendly with a warm welcome. The fish and chips however were dripping in oil I went 150 yards back home and oil had come through the paper into the bag. I put the over on and left the portion on kitchen towel for 15 minutes. Improved the chips and crisped the batter, but dried out the fish unfortunately. Speaking of which I asked for cod and it was panacea. I worked in a fish market for years and know the difference !!! Not that I mind it's a tasty fish too. Just don't tell me it's cod ! I'll try other items over the coming months when the family arrives I'm sure , but for now I'd say it's time they double fried chips to give colour and crunch instead of those pale sloppy things they are serving and turned up fish frier to stop so much fat soaking into the batter.

Nice chips ruined with old cooking fat, watery tasteless bright green mushy peas. Very expensive, served by 3 men that look really disinterested in cooking.

Hit or miss with rumbles. Sometimes amazing food but in this case the chicken was cooked but looks like someone’s thrown a scab on it. Hopefully anyone who chooses to go will have a good experience but don’t be surprised if food looks like this.

The food was well cooked but a bit over priced for very basic fare.

atmosphere was fishy tbh. don't know why but needs sorting out. Good food but that also tasted a bit fishy. me n rumble might need to have a talk smh. beautiful cobblestone tho

Mince beef and onion pie with chips. Chips were fresh and tasted lovely. Very large portion. The pie was warm I prefer a hot pie. Overall the meal was great and good value for money.

I asked for crispy chips. But they were Soggy 😜🤬🤬didn't particularly enjoy the fish . The batter was dripping in fat . YUK. Won't be going back 😔

No idea where some went for Fish & Chips, but as far as we could see clean, I am told by my family the Fish is amazing, chips rated wonderful and they kindly made me a salad wrap as I do not eat meat or fish. 100% perfect and we are on holiday here, the turn over of local customers is always a good indication and this had regular customers, by the chatting. The gentleman reporting tummy upset, it was not from the from the food here.maybe this was picked up else where!! Please be aware cash only, although a nearby shop helps with this.

No card machine though the shop next door does cashback (no purchase required) this chip shop offers great food at a great value. Plenty of seating outside too.

On holiday been for a walk called into Rumbles waited 10 minutes for fish and chips to be freshly made the best we have had the fish are enormous and the small chips were enough for 4 people plenty on the menu will try something different the next time highly recommend you go 😋

Chips were lovely but the battered sausage was one of the worst I’ve ever eaten. Sloppy inside and doesn’t taste much like a sausage.. Will avoid the sausage if I stop here again!

Food wasn’t great for starters but wasn’t happy to see your worker out in his kitchen uniform out filling up his car with window screen wash it goes against food safety and hygiene!!
